Su Yaoyao leaned her head close to the phone in Yu Chiyan's hand and spoke softly.
Upon hearing Su Yaoyao's voice, Old Madam Yu's tone immediately became excited.
"Oh, Yaoyao, my good child, so you're with Chi Yan?"
Yu Chiyan simply handed his phone to Su Yaoyao, who quickly picked it up and spoke intimately to her.
"Yes, I'm with Yu Chiyan."
Upon hearing this, Madam Yu knew that the two had reconciled, and a kind smile immediately appeared on her face.
"Good, good, good, you two are really back together again. Yaoyao, when are you going to bring Yu Chiyan to see Grandma?"
This sounds really strange, as if Yu Chiyan was the one who married into the family from outside, while Su Yaoyao was originally a member of the Yu family.
Yu Chiyan, standing beside him, looked even darker.
Su Yaoyao suppressed her laughter until her stomach ached; "I might not be free these next couple of days, but the day after tomorrow, Grandma, Yu Chiyan and I will come to see you the day after tomorrow."
The cheerful voice of Madam Yu came through the phone.
"Okay, Grandma will wait for you."
After chatting for a while, Su Yaoyao asked Old Madam Yu if she wanted to chat with Yu Chiyan, but Old Madam Yu hung up the phone immediately.
How much must they dislike Yu Chiyan?
Su Yaoyao returned the phone to Yu Chiyan, placed her hands on the edge of the bed, and looked up at Yu Chiyan who was reviewing electronic documents.
Why are you looking at me like that?
Yu Chiyan didn't even raise his head, but the woman's gaze was so intense and unrestrained that he couldn't ignore it.
Looking at his handsome face, Su Yaoyao spoke her mind.
"I just find it strange. You're so good-looking and so capable, why does Grandma dislike you so much?"
Yu Chiyan finally looked away from the screen and at Su Yaoyao, who was looking smug. He couldn't help but pinch the soft flesh on her face.
"Why do you think this is? I don't know who it is, but they are just too lovable. They've completely won over my grandma's heart, and I, their own grandson, have lost all my status."
"Ha ha……"
Su Yaoyao was amused by Yu Chiyan's words, and her clear and melodious laughter rang out like silver bells.
Yu Chiyan looked at her with doting eyes.
The two were being affectionate when Yu Chiyan's phone suddenly rang. It was a message from Jiang Chen.
"Master, we still haven't found the person."
Upon seeing the message, Yu Chiyan's brows immediately furrowed, and all traces of doting affection vanished from his eyes.
Noticing the change in Yu Chiyan's emotions, Su Yaoyao looked puzzled.
"What's wrong? Whose message is this? Is something the matter?"
Yu Chiyan snapped out of his daze, turned off his phone, and placed it face down on the bed.
"It's nothing, just something from the company."
Su Yaoyao didn't suspect anything; "Is it serious?"
Yu Chiyan looked at her concerned eyes and quickly began to calculate something in his mind.
"It's a small matter, it can be resolved."
