Her gaze made Yu Chiyan feel flustered for a moment, but after he realized what was happening, he was filled with anger.
She clearly did something wrong, so why did she act like she had suffered a great injustice?
"Su Yaoyao, what's there to feel wronged about? Sese blamed herself all night because you disappeared, and her eyes were swollen from crying. Do you think that's reasonable?"
Upon hearing this, Su Yaoyao could no longer contain her anger. She didn't know where the strength came from, but she broke free from Yu Chiyan's large hand that was holding her wrist.
"Yeah, I'm being unreasonable? I am, but how are you any better? You're perfectly embodying the saying 'When the ex cries, the current one always loses'!"
Yu Chiyan's face darkened; "What nonsense are you spouting?"
Hearing that Su Yaoyao and Yu Chiyan were arguing, the aunt rushed out of the kitchen. Seeing the two facing off, she couldn't help but try to mediate.
"Sir, Miss Su, please stop arguing. Why can't you sit down and talk things out instead of arguing?"
Su Yaoyao was panting heavily, feeling a dull ache in her stomach again, and couldn't help but reach out and cover her stomach.
Upon seeing this scene, Yu Chiyan subconsciously frowned, but only for a moment before his face turned into a cold smile.
"If you're angry, you should cover your chest, not your stomach."
Even the aunt couldn't stand it anymore; "Sir, aren't you going too far?"
Upon hearing this, Yu Chiyan's eyes immediately turned cold.
“I paid you to work at the villa, not for you to boss the owners around.”
The aunt was frightened by Yu Chiyan's gaze, feeling as if she had been frozen, and goosebumps rose all over her body.
Su Yaoyao shielded her aunt behind her, her gaze towards Yu Chiyan turning somewhat cold.
"When we argue, don't take it out on others."
Yu Chiyan sneered, "What, are you afraid I'll fire her?"
Su Yaoyao let out a deep breath; "Yu Chiyan, tell me today, between me and Sese, who do you choose?"
Upon hearing Su Yaoyao's words, Yu Chiyan clenched his fists tightly at his sides, and his gaze towards Su Yaoyao grew even colder.
"So you still doubt your relationship with Se Se, Su Yaoyao. How many times do I have to tell you, I'm innocent with her. Why are you still trying to harm her because of this baseless accusation? In your eyes, isn't she pitiful enough? What threat could she possibly pose to you?"
Su Yaoyao felt her heart turn ice-cold, and her vision began to blur, with Yu Chiyan's face becoming increasingly indistinct.
"Yu Chiyan, I'll only ask you one question: who will you choose?"
"Incomprehensible!"
The man coldly uttered a sentence and turned to leave.
Su Yaoyao felt as if all her strength had been drained away, and she collapsed onto the sofa.
"Miss Su, are you alright?"
The aunt stepped forward and looked at Su Yaoyao with a worried expression.
Su Yaoyao shook her head, her face pale, her voice trembling.
"Auntie, did you see that? Yu Chiyan has really changed..."
