These all require time and effort.
To prevent fish pieces from sticking to the pan, firstly, the pan and oil must be hot; secondly, you can sprinkle a layer of salt into the pan beforehand.
On the one hand, salt can act as a protective film, allowing the iron pot to be heated as evenly as possible.
On the other hand, salt can accelerate protein coagulation, allowing fish meat to quickly take shape.
Heat oil in a wok until it reaches a temperature of about 180-200 degrees Celsius. Then, sprinkle some salt into the oil and add the fish pieces one by one to fry.
Once one side is golden brown, Yu Hui grips the pan handles with both hands and quickly tosses the pan.
The fish pieces in the pot spun once in the air before falling neatly into the pot.
Yu Hui glanced at it and saw that the top layer of fish pieces was fried perfectly.
Golden brown and crispy, it looks delicious.
Once both sides are golden brown, add cooking wine and shredded ginger, then add three large bowls of boiling water, cover and bring to a boil.
After the water boils, uncover the pot. By then, the fish soup has turned milky white and thick.
Yu Hui added the prepared side dishes, such as scallions and chili rings, and then simply seasoned them.
The most crucial step in making fish meal is now complete.
He put water in a separate pot, brought it to a boil, and then added the pre-soaked rice noodles to blanch them briefly.
The fine rice noodles used here were cooked in no time.
"Zhu Zi, Qiu Qiu, Xiao Ming! Come and get the rice noodles yourselves!"
Yu Hui raised his voice and called out, then took his portion and sat down at the table.
He hadn't eaten for over eight hours after lunch and was starving.
He picked up a piece of fish, blew on it a few times, and put it in his mouth.
The first bite is a crispy and crunchy texture on the surface of the fish, followed by the tender and delicate flesh.
The broth's flavor has permeated the fish, making it firm, chewy, and incredibly flavorful!
The fish soup was also very delicious.
One sip is incredibly satisfying!
"Brother Hui, where's your chili sauce? I want to scoop some into the fish powder," Pan Tiezhu asked.
Upon hearing this, Yu Hui snapped out of his daze and realized that Pan Tiezhu, Ye Yiqiu, and Chen Zhiming had already sat down at the dining table.
"The chili sauce is kept in the corner of the kitchen, next to the spice jars."
"good!"
After saying that, Pan Tiezhu turned and walked towards the kitchen.
Not long after, he came back with a grin, carrying a jar of chili sauce.
"This fish noodle soup is indeed very flavorful, but I feel it's too bland. I'd prefer to add some chili sauce!"
Pan Tiezhu said as he poured chili sauce into the bowl.
"What do you know!"
Chen Zhiming retorted, "The main point of this fish noodle soup is to enjoy the rich, milky white fish broth. If you add chili sauce, you'll lose its original flavor!"
“I don’t care, if I don’t add some chili sauce, I don’t feel like eating it,” Pan Tiezhu said.
"Didn't they put chili rings in this soup?" Chen Zhiming asked.
"The chili rings aren't spicy enough. If I add ghost peppers, then I won't need to add any more chili sauce."
After adding the chili sauce, Pan Tiezhu stirred it well with chopsticks, muttering to himself, "Look, doesn't it look much tastier with this chili oil?"
"That's just your opinion," Chen Zhiming rolled his eyes.
"Hmph, I don't care what you think, I only care what I think!"
After saying that, Pan Tiezhu buried his head in eating his noodles.
Chen Zhiming had a sudden inspiration and came up with a terrible idea.
then.
He leaned close to Yu Hui's ear and whispered something.
Pan Tiezhu looked up to drink water and happened to see the scene in front of him.
"Hey, what are you guys doing?"
Chen Zhiming smiled meaningfully and replied, "It's a secret!"
"What a strange person, why are they being so secretive?"
Pan Tiezhu complained, then looked at Yu Hui.
"Brother Hui, what did this kid say to you?"
"Him?" Yu Hui deliberately kept him in suspense. "Guess!"
"My dear brother, please tell me~~~" Pan Tiezhu grasped Yu Hui's arms with both hands.
Upon hearing this, Yu Hui got goosebumps all over his body.
"I'll talk! I'll talk right now!"
He pushed Pan Tiezhu's hand away with a hint of disdain and said:
"Xiaoming just said that next time he cooks noodles, he'll add some ghost peppers for you separately, so you won't complain that it's not spicy enough."
"What?"
Pan Tiezhu was stunned for a moment, then said, "You little bastard, Xiaoming, you're trying to kill me!"
He raised his fist and punched Chen Zhiming.
Upon seeing this, Chen Zhiming immediately got up and ran away.
And so, he fled and he was pursued...
After dinner, Ye Yiqiu, Chen Zhiming, and Pan Tiezhu rolled the dice.
The person who rolls the smallest number goes to wash the dishes.
Unfortunately, Chen Zhiming became the chosen one to wash dishes.
Amidst Pan Tiezhu's mocking laughter, he reluctantly walked into the kitchen...
"Knock knock knock—"
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
When Yu Hui opened the door, he saw Jiang Zhi wearing a delivery uniform and holding a urea bag in his hand.
"Please come in quickly!"
After entering, Yu Hui poured Jiang Zhi a glass of water.
After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Jiang Zhi put the eighty-two express packages into the urea bag.
"Brother Hui, I have three more packages to pick up later. If there's nothing else, I'll be going now!" Jiang Zhi said, waving his hand.
"Okay, okay!" Yu Hui nodded.
Before leaving, he took a bottle of chilled mineral water from the refrigerator and handed it to Jiang Zhi, and then took out a bag of wet wipes from his pocket.
"Brother Zhi, don't overwork yourself this summer. Take care of your health," Yu Hui kindly reminded him.
He has a firm grasp on interpersonal relationships and social etiquette!
