Li Susu walked quickly out of the Li Group building, took a deep breath, and tried to calm the surging emotions in her heart.
The sunlight was a bit too bright, making her feel like her head was about to split open.
She raised her hand to rub her temples and quickened her pace toward the roadside.
Back in her hotel room, Li Susu irritably threw her handbag on the sofa.
I walked to the window and looked at the bustling streets outside, my thoughts racing.
"Arno, what's wrong?" Chen Ke's voice suddenly rang out, interrupting Li Susu's thoughts.
Li Susu turned around and saw Chen Ke standing at the door, looking at her with concern.
"It's nothing." Li Susu forced a smile, not wanting Chen Ke to worry.
"Are you really alright?" Chen Ke clearly didn't believe it. He walked over to Li Susu and carefully examined her complexion. "You don't look too good."
After hesitating for a moment, Li Susu decided to tell Chen Ke what had happened that day.
"Today, Li Yulin contacted me and said that I am his sister Li Susu, who has been missing for three years."
Chen Ke was stunned for a moment, then laughed and said, "How is that possible? Su Su, don't listen to his nonsense."
Li Susu gave a bitter smile: "I also hope he's talking nonsense, but..."

With trembling hands, he opened the documents and saw that very familiar face. Chen Ke's heart sank.
The woman in the photo is beautiful and has a striking resemblance to Li Susu in her eyes and brows.
Chen Ke is now certain that Chen Nuo is Li Susu, but the change in appearance is what makes the Li family afraid to recognize her.
He was filled with mixed feelings, hoping that Li Susu could reunite with her family, but also worried that she would be hurt again.
Especially when Chen Ke thought about the way Fu Xingzhou looked at Li Susu, his eyes were full of possessiveness and deep affection, it made him feel uneasy again.
Now is not a good time for them to recognize each other; he must take Li Susu away from China as soon as possible.
