"What kind of man can win your heart?"
Li Susu shook her head, a hint of confusion flashing in her eyes.
"I don't know either."
She sighed softly, her tone tinged with helplessness.
"We haven't encountered it yet."
It's hard to tell if this answer is true or false.
Yu Xin narrowed her eyes, pondering to herself.
She picked up the cigar on the table and twirled it gently between her fingers.
"And what about Mr. Chen before?"
She asked casually.
"Before you came to Country Z, had you never met a man who made your heart flutter?"
Li Susu picked up her teacup, took a small sip, and concealed the complex emotions that flashed across her eyes.
"No."
She put down her teacup, her tone calm.
"What's past is past."
"Right now, I just want to focus on my career."
This answer was watertight, yet it sounded official.
Clearly, that's not the truth.
Yu Xin sighed softly, a hint of disappointment flashing in her eyes.
Li Susu put down her teacup, a playful smile playing on her lips.
"President Yu, let's speak frankly."
She tapped the table lightly, making a crisp sound.
"You invited me here just to... chat?"
Li Susu raised her eyebrows slightly, her sharp gaze fixed on Yu Xin.
"Or... are you doing this on someone else's behalf?"
Yu Xin paused in the hand holding the cigar, then resumed her nonchalant demeanor.
She exhaled a smoke ring, and amidst the swirling smoke, her expression appeared somewhat inscrutable.
"Mr. Chen, who would ask me to do something for them?"
Yu Xin chuckled and asked in return.
"And what is it for this time?"
Looking at her unconventional behavior, Li Susu sighed inwardly, thinking to herself, "She's really a woman who doesn't play by the rules."
She simply went ahead and exposed the truth.
"President Yu, do you also suspect... that I am the female CEO of the Li Group?"
Upon hearing this, Yu Xin nearly dropped the cigar in her hand.
She clasped her hands together, her face showing an exaggerated expression of surprise.
"Oh dear, I didn't think it looked like it before!"
She looked Li Susu up and down, her eyes full of inquiry.
"Looking at it now, their temperaments and personalities are so similar!"
Li Susu shook her head, a self-deprecating smile curving her lips.
"What a pity about Rose Manor."
Her gaze swept over the exquisite furnishings in the room, her tone tinged with regret.
"Such a beautiful place, and you used it to test me."
Li Susu paused, her tone becoming sharp.
"What if I weren't the female CEO of the Li Group?"
Her eyes were cold as she stared directly at Yu Xin.
"Haven't you wasted your time?"
Yu Xin noticed Li Susu's resistance and stubbed out her cigar in the ashtray with an elegant and decisive movement.
"Mr. Chen, then let's not talk about this anymore."
She stood up, walked to the window, and looked at the blooming roses outside, speaking in a relaxed and casual tone.
"Why don't we go out for a stroll and try some of the delicious food at our Rose Manor?"
She turned around and gave Li Susu a charming smile.
“This used to be my residence, but it has now reopened and become a resort.”
She paused, then continued.
"There are also hot springs in the back mountain with beautiful scenery. We can go soak together, relax, and make friends."
Looking at Yu Xin's sincere smile, Li Susu hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded.
"Alright."
The two walked out of the room together, but did not see Chen Ke.
A hint of doubt flashed through Li Susu's mind, but she didn't ask any further questions.
Yu Xin took Li Susu directly to the back mountain. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, which made Li Susu feel much more relaxed.
Upon arriving at the back mountain, Yu Xin instructed someone to bring Li Susu a swimsuit and a bathrobe.
"Mr. Chen, please go downstairs and try it out. I've already asked the waiters to wait downstairs. Please let them know if you need anything."
