"Fu Xingzhou, I don't care what you're thinking."
He stepped forward, his tone becoming even more forceful.
"Don't go near Susu anymore!"
Chen Ke's voice carried a hint of warning, and his eyes were filled with worry.
"Isn't her safety the most important thing?"
Fu Xingzhou gently pushed Chen Ke's hand away, stood up, and gestured for him to "come with me".
"Come with me."
Chen Ke was puzzled and hesitated for a moment, but still followed.
Fu Xingzhou took out his key, opened the door next door, and led Chen Ke inside.
Three years have passed, but the furnishings here have never been moved. They are kept spotless, just as they were when the owner was still here.
A faint fragrance filled the air, the scent of lilies that Li Susu used to love the most.
Chen Ke looked around, his eyes filled with doubt.
Why did you bring me here?
Fu Xingzhou did not answer immediately, but went straight to the stairs.
"This is Su Su's home."
His tone was calm, yet carried a subtle hint of tenderness.
"The decorations here were all specially customized by her brother to suit her preferences."
The two went upstairs, and Fu Xingzhou opened the door to a bedroom.
The room was filled with all sorts of dolls, and the decor was that of a standard princess room, with pink wallpaper and white lace curtains, making everything feel very cozy.
Chen Ke looked at everything before him and felt a slight tremor in his heart.
Fu Xingzhou walked to the bedside, picked up a plush bear, and gently stroked it.
"Li Susu used to be a little princess who was pampered by her two older brothers. She was lively, cheerful and very beautiful."
He paused, a hint of regret in his voice.
"But now, Li Susu has become so cold and aloof, and she has also lost her memory."
Fu Xingzhou turned around and looked directly at Chen Ke.
Is she really happy?
Chen Ke frowned, his heart indeed wavering, but he still stubbornly refused to admit it.
"The most important thing is that Arnold can live safely."
Fu Xingzhou scoffed and looked at him sarcastically.
"You've been by Su Su's side for three years, yet you've never truly understood her."
His tone was firm, carrying an undeniable certainty.
"The real Li Susu would rather die a glorious death than live a shameful life."
Chen Ke's Adam's apple bobbed, and his heart felt as if it were being tightly gripped by an invisible hand.
He understood that Chen Nuo was indeed that kind of woman.
Stubborn and obstinate, once they've made up their minds, nothing can sway them.
To achieve one's goals, one is willing to pay any price, even sacrificing oneself.
Fu Xingzhou put the plush bear back in its place, turned to look out the window, and spoke calmly.
"I know you like Su Su too."
Chen Ke suddenly looked up, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
He did not deny it, he simply remained silent.
Fu Xingzhou didn't look at him and continued, "I'm not surprised."
He paused, a faint smile curving his lips.
"What man wouldn't be tempted by such a wonderful woman?"
Chen Ke clenched his fist, his nails digging deep into his palm.
Fu Xingzhou turned around, looking directly at Chen Ke, his tone firm and confident.
"Once Su Su recovers and regains her memory, we can compete fairly."
Chen Ke frowned, his mind in turmoil.
fair play?
This is completely unfair!
Between him and Li Susu lies a three-year gap in their memories.
However, Fu Xingzhou and Li Susu share so many memories.
What does he have to compare with Fu Xingzhou?
"What? Scared?"
Chen Ke suddenly looked up, a hint of panic flashing in his eyes, which was then replaced by stubbornness.
