Chapter 79 Dad, Ye Cheng hit someone!

So he only kept a few spider snails and a dead parrotfish in the snakeskin bag.

The other expensive items were placed in the water tank, and then the lid was put on.

There were two spider snails and two blue crabs in the bucket, which was considered a gift for Da Liu and the others, to save face for each other and keep things friendly.

However, judging from Liu's current state, he may be somewhat dissatisfied.

Seeing that Ye Cheng had no intention of opening the tank, a man stepped out from behind Da Liu and forcefully tried to open it.

Ye Cheng pried his hand off, his face darkening, and pointed at him, saying, "A-Yong, what are you doing?"

This guy works for Liu, and Ye Cheng knows him too. He's nicknamed A Yong, and he's a pretty ruthless person who's capable of violence.

Ah Yong, embarrassed by Ye Cheng's refusal, flashed a fierce light in his eyes, "You dare point at me?"

"Ah Yong, we all know each other. Why are you taking my things like this? What's wrong with you?"

Ah Yong sneered twice and shouted loudly, "Heh, your stuff, this is our Liu Village, not your Baiyun Village."

"This is indeed your Liu Village, but the sea doesn't belong to Liu Village. We picked these ourselves. If you want, go pick them yourself," Ye Cheng said calmly.

After saying that, he looked at Da Liu again, who was the boss.

"Da Liu, I consider you a brother. I'll let you ride the motorcycle if you want, and I'll share my stuff with you. Isn't that enough?"

Da Liu rubbed his chin without saying a word, and the atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Seeing that Da Liu didn't speak, A Yong took it as a tacit agreement and walked up to him arrogantly, "I'm definitely going to open your suitcase today, what can you do about it?"

Ye Cheng narrowed his eyes, his gaze suddenly sharpening as he coldly said, "Whoever touches my things, I'll deal with them. It's that simple."

Looking at Ye Lin's indifferent eyes, A Yong became a little timid. Mainly because they hadn't brought anything, while Ye Cheng was holding an iron shovel. If they fought like this, they would be at a disadvantage.

He turned to look at Da Liu, who knew he couldn't stay silent any longer. Da Liu straightened up and stared coldly at Ye Cheng.

"Ah Cheng, you said you used our territory, so let us see how much cargo you actually transported. This kind of hiding isn't trustworthy, brothers."

Ye Cheng remained calm, but he clearly didn't trust them; his eyes were practically gleaming with greed.

"Da Liu, I've given everyone a share of the food, that's more than enough."

Ye Cheng spoke calmly, yet firmly.

"This little bit is enough, are you trying to fetch a beggar?" A-Yong said curtly.

Ye Cheng pointed to the bucket they had given them, "These two spider crabs are worth a few hundred yuan, and two blue crabs can sell for over 100 yuan. That's over 500 yuan in total. Is this enough to feed a beggar? Why don't you feed me instead?"

“You’ve given us so little, there must be more inside.” Ah Yong wasn’t stupid.

“We do have more than you guys, but we got it ourselves, so we should keep some for ourselves,” Xiao Hu retorted.

Da Liu chimed in, "I didn't say I wouldn't leave any for you, I just wanted to take a look. Cheng, open it and let us see."

Ye Cheng frowned deeply. It seemed that Liu was determined to open the box today, and things would be difficult to handle.

"See, that's impossible. If you want to fight, we brothers are happy to oblige."

After saying that, Ye Cheng silently raised the shovel in his hand.

Xiao Hu also put down the bucket in his hand and gripped the shovel with both hands.

The two men made their meaning clear: if anyone dared to come, they would be met with a shovel.

"Damn, who are you trying to scare?"

Before Da Liu could think it through, A Yong, that reckless man, rushed out and lunged at Ye Cheng with his head down.

Ye Cheng's face darkened; he was finally going to make his move.

He raised the shovel and swept it across A Yong's head, the sharp blade reflecting a gleaming light in the darkness.

Ah Yong was so scared that he immediately lay down on the ground. He didn't expect Ye Cheng to actually dare to do that.

Ye Cheng made a quick noise with the shovel and then withdrew it. He didn't dare to actually hit it, as it could kill someone. He just wanted to scare them.

"Damn, they've made their move."

"Brother Yong, damn it, let's go!"

Seeing that Ye Cheng had really made a move, Da Liu's side couldn't sit still any longer. He lifted his clothes and several people rushed forward.

Little Tiger roared and delivered a powerful kick to the chest of the one charging at the front.

The man was kicked and sent flying backward, knocking Da Liu and the others off balance.

"Brothers, grab your weapons, damn it, let's do it."

The group got up from the ground and ran towards the convenience store. They came out in no time with iron bars, chanting "Chinese opera" all the while.

Ye Cheng frowned. Today's matter was going to escalate, and he might not be able to get away with it without actually taking action.

He turned his head and whispered to Xiao Hu, "Don't kill them. In a bit, you keep them away, and I'll find a chance to tie the stuff to the motorcycle, then we'll drive away."

"Damn it! Ah Cheng, you little bastard, how dare you lay a hand on me!"

"Let me tell you, you're not leaving Liu Village today."

"If I don't break a hand from each of you today, I won't believe Liu!"

With a fierce expression, Da Liu held an iron rod and started yelling at Ye Cheng.

Just as the two sides were about to start fighting and blood was about to spill on the beach, at this critical moment...

A majestic voice rang out from the village.

"Stop! All of you, stop!"

Ye Cheng looked over and saw several villagers from Liu Village running over. Leading them was Liu Zhengming, the village chief of Liu Village and also Da Liu's father.

When Da Liu saw his father coming over, a smug look appeared on his face. "Dad, come here quickly, that brat Ye Cheng has started hitting someone."

Liu Zhengming led several villagers to the two groups of people. He first looked at his son with a worried expression. If nothing was wrong, then all was well.

Then, turning his head, he didn't even want to ask another question, and pointed directly at Ye Cheng, saying, "Ye Cheng, you can stay in your own village, but you've come to mess with our village. Believe me or not, I'll teach you a lesson on behalf of your elders."

These words directly labeled Ye Cheng as a troublemaker, which Ye Cheng was not about to accept.

He looked up and chuckled, "Oh, Uncle, you've arrived. You've only just arrived, and there are probably a few people who don't even know you yet, but they're already accusing me of causing trouble. Are you some kind of upright official or are you planning to force a confession out of me?"

These words made Liu Zhengming's face turn a little awkward. This kid certainly has a sharp tongue.

There were several villagers behind him; if he were alone, he wouldn't care how sharp Ye Cheng's tongue was.

"Alright, tell me, so that word doesn't get out that people from Liu Village are bullying you."

Ye Cheng pointed to the water tank on the ground and the bucket over Da Liu's side, "Well, we came to the beach and picked up some things. We've already given them so much out of consideration for our brotherhood, but they still wanted to take it by force. It's that simple. The stuff in that bucket is what we gave them. It can sell for several hundred yuan."

Upon hearing that it could sell for several hundred yuan, several villagers behind Liu Zhengming began to peer and peek.
