Chapter 432 Diving on Windmill Island 1

After cleaning up the fish she had just caught, Chen Zhiyao happily carried out two diving suits.

"Mom, hurry up and change your clothes, we're going to Haidilao to fish for seafood!"

She hadn't been diving in a long time and couldn't wait to get into the sea.

At this moment, Yan Shuting appeared from behind her, carrying two fanny packs and some simple tools.

"Okay, I'll get everything ready first, so we don't go downstairs without anything to carry the seafood."

While the mother and daughter were preparing their diving gear, the elderly couple and Chen Weiqiang had already lined up and were enthusiastically fishing on the deck.

After changing their clothes, the mother and daughter transformed into mermaids and dived into the mysterious blue seabed.

The two swam freely in the sea like agile fish.

Soon, the two arrived at a sandy seabed.

This type of seabed only surfaces during low tide, so there are quite a few valuable items there.

Chen Zhiyao lowered her head and immediately saw a lot of good things right in front of her.

Hidden within what appears to be a flat expanse of sand are sea snails of all sizes, and inside the empty sea snail shells are many small octopuses.

At this moment, Yan Shuting also noticed a large crab lying on the sand to her lower left.

The mother and daughter exchanged a knowing glance, then silently went their separate ways to continue with their tasks.

Chen Zhiyao went to the spot she had chosen earlier, bent down, and grabbed three large whelks in one go.

These whelks were slowly wriggling, preparing to forage for food, but unexpectedly they became someone else's meal in no time.

The plump snail meat was still outside, and she hadn't had time to put it back in. Several of the whelks were quite plump, and Chen Zhiyao happily stuffed them all into the net bag.

Immediately afterwards, she reached the multi-tool in her hand into the sand to her left.

The next second, she easily pulled an octopus weighing about half a pound out of the sand.

That wasn't all; a little while later, she pulled two more clams, each the size of a fist, out of the sand.

These two clams don't have any meat inside, but each one has a small octopus living inside.

The two octopuses were clinging on very tightly, and Chen Zhiyao couldn't get them out even after trying to pry them off with her hands.

Then I simply used a pair of clips to pick the two little guys out.

Further on, she discovered several small pink scallops.

Those little creatures were covered in a layer of sand, making them look almost like they blended into the seabed.

The purchase price of scallops was only six or seven yuan per kilogram. Chen Zhiyao thought they were cheap and took up too much space, so she never even considered catching them.

Just as she was about to walk past these little creatures, the scallop closest to her was startled.

After spitting out a jet of water, it shot off with a "whoosh." It looked like it could fly; it was quite fun.

There were a few scallops nearby, and Chen Zhiyao mischievously stepped on one of them to scare them.

Immediately afterwards, the small scallops darted forward, leaving behind small sand pits.

Little Scallop: Brothers, run! There are bad guys!

Soon, Chen Zhiyao stopped again, feeling quite pleased with herself.

Through X-ray glasses, you can see a giant conch hiding under the sand.

After brushing aside the top layer of sand, a spotted harp shell, larger than a fist, was finally revealed. Spotted harp shells are rarely seen in the nearby sea, and Chen Zhiyao hadn't expected to find one here.

This is a real gem. Spotted snails are large, with one weighing over a pound, and they are more expensive than regular snails.

With a cheerful smile, Chen Zhiyao put the large object she was carrying down and quickly began searching her surroundings.

She was lucky today; she actually found two giant spotted snails that were as big as her face.

These three big guys weigh at least four or five pounds together. Chen Zhiyao continued her search in the sea in a good mood.

Before long, she noticed two slightly raised bumps.

She first approached the smaller mound, and quickly pulled out the octopus hiding in the sand.

Then, she pulled out a swimming crab weighing about six or seven ounces from a larger bulge on the side.

Chen Zhiyao's eyes were like a scanner, constantly scanning the seabed around her.

Suddenly, her gaze fixed on the left front.

A surge of joy flashed in Chen Zhiyao's eyes, and she quickly swam over.

Soon, she came to a stop in front of a seemingly ordinary sandy seabed.

Taking a small sand shovel from her shoulder bag, Chen Zhiyao began digging diligently.

After digging a small hole, her shovel finally hit something hard yet soft.

At this point, she dared not continue digging, fearing that the shovel would damage the treasure below, and even more so that the cunning creature would escape.

She directly inserted the universal clamp into the pit and clamped down on the big thing that was desperately trying to burrow deeper inside.

The next second, she pulled a heavy zebra mantis shrimp out of the pit.

This head looks like it weighs at least a pound.

Thinking about the potential income of several hundred yuan, Chen Zhiyao's eyes shone even brighter, and she put the money into the net bag with a big smile.

She then continued digging nearby.

I don't know if it was because the commotion was too loud, but this zebra mantis shrimp hid very deep.

Chen Zhiyao dug for a while, and the pit in front of her was almost as deep as her arm, but she still couldn't dig it out.

After digging several more times, the big guy underneath was finally exposed.

Dropping the shovel, Chen Zhiyao used both hands to grab the giant shrimp, which weighed over a pound.

These two zebra mantis shrimps alone are worth over a thousand yuan.

Chen Zhiyao had previously thought that there were few good things on the sandy seabed, and that people usually went to coral reefs to catch seafood.

I can't believe I missed out on these valuable zebra mantis shrimps. What a blunder!

Unfortunately, there weren't many of these things. After wandering around, Chen Zhiyao only found some ordinary conches and octopuses.

We couldn't find the third zebra mantis shrimp no matter what we tried.

As I recall, there was a small coral reef in front of me.

Chen Zhiyao found Yan Shuting not far away, and the mother and daughter swam together toward the coral reef ahead.

There are many fish living in the coral reef. Even before they got close, the two could see many fish leisurely playing and swimming.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared above the two of them.

Chen Zhiyao was startled. Could they have run into a shark?

Looking up, they saw a Napoleon wrasse weighing several tens of kilograms. "What are you looking at?" the fish asked curiously, eyeing the mother and daughter. Seeing they were safe, it foolishly approached them.

Seeing that this little rascal wasn't afraid of people at all, Chen Zhiyao reached out and touched the bump on its head.

This guy was wagging his big tail, looking happy from head to toe.

When Chen Zhiyao withdrew her hand, it even automatically and consciously rubbed against her hand twice.

So cute!

Chen Zhiyao screamed in her heart, wanting to take this guy home and raise him.

But that's just wishful thinking; this little darling is a protected animal, after all.

The mother and daughter continued swimming towards the coral reef ahead, while the Napoleon wrasse followed behind them with a look of curiosity.
