Chapter 433 Diving on Windmill Island 2

Before long, the mother and daughter arrived at a beautiful and colorful coral reef.

At first glance, a group of colorful and uniquely shaped small fish are swimming happily in front of you.

These adorable little fish swim and frolic freely among the uniquely shaped and diverse coral reefs.

These little fish gathered together, as if they were hosting a grand party. The lively scene before my eyes instantly lifted my spirits.

Just then, a small, exquisite red clownfish suddenly appeared directly in front of Chen Zhiyao.

The clownfish blinked its round eyes and looked at Chen Zhiyao with a bewildered expression.

It seemed to be filled with curiosity about this uninvited guest, as if eager to know what interesting things she was doing here. Clownfish, in fact, is a common name for certain fish in the family Pomacentridae of the order Perciformes.

This type of fish is relatively small, generally only about five or six centimeters long.

This fish is a typical coral fish, with exceptionally vibrant and eye-catching colors, mostly displaying bright red or orange-red hues.

Typically, there are snow-white stripes adorning the sides of the body.

They are called clownfish because of the white stripes on their bodies.

From a distance, these white stripes resemble the unique makeup on the faces of clowns in Peking Opera, hence the intriguing name.

These clownfish are small and delicate, and timid by nature. They usually like to hide among the colorful coral reefs.

Therefore, capturing them is an extremely difficult task.

Given that the fish weren't expensive, the clever Chen Zhiyao naturally wouldn't waste her precious time catching these little guys.

She looked down and examined the coral in front of her.

Soon, a bread crab that was searching came into her field of vision.

This thing was enormous, its round shape making it look exactly like a chubby giant loaf of bread.

This bread crab looks clumsy, but it is actually very agile. In the blink of an eye, it caught a small fish swimming in front of it.

The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.

Just as this guy was enjoying his meal, he was caught by Chen Zhiyao's all-purpose clips.

The poor bread crab had only eaten half of the fish in its mouth when it found itself unable to move.

To make matters worse, the fish in his mouth fell right out.

When the unfortunate man came to his senses, he found himself trapped inside a net.

Besides the large crab that weighed over a pound and nearly two pounds, Chen Zhiyao also picked up several whelks.

And you know what? There are quite a lot of sea snails in this coral reef.

A short while later, she found two fist-sized horseshoe snails under a rock.

Immediately afterwards, they dug up a large conch weighing over a pound.

There were actually several snails and scallops nearby, but these things were too cheap, so Chen Zhiyao didn't take a liking to them and simply ignored them.

Unlike beachcombing, it's not easy to bring things up from the seabed, so she only wants high-priced, premium seafood.

Suddenly, a green figure swam past her.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a bluefin bream weighing about a pound, and Chen Zhiyao quickly chased after it.

The little guy was quite clever; he quickly noticed that she was chasing after him.

Just as she was about to catch up with the little guy, she turned and hid inside a giant, fiery red coral next to her.

This coral grows just like a tree, with its bizarre branches forming an excellent shelter.

However, Chen Zhiyao had a multi-tool in her hand, so it was no problem for her at all.

Seeing the tongs in her hand slip through the gap and grab the bluefish inside.

After putting the fish into the net, Chen Zhiyao noticed that there were quite a few fish around.

Colorful damselfish, pink red sea bream, bright red bigeye sea bream, yellow butterflyfish, and blue shovelnose...

A variety of beautiful fish gathered together, making it a very pleasing sight.

Chen Zhiyao took out a net to catch fish, when suddenly she felt something gently bumping against her back.

Turning my head, I saw it was the same Napoleon wrasse from before.

The guy stared at her with wide, innocent eyes, then looked curiously at the fishing net in her hand, as if wondering what she was doing.

Fearing that the large creature would scare away the fish in front, Chen Zhiyao picked up two sea urchins, opened them, and threw them behind her.

Sure enough, the greedy Napoleon wrasse immediately swam after the two sea urchins.

With that nuisance gone, Chen Zhiyao immediately grabbed the fishing net and quietly moved forward.

These fish were quite cautious; they scattered in all directions shortly after Chen Zhiyao made her move.

Some swam directly into the distance, while others hid in the nearby coral.

Those that wander off can at least escape with their lives, but those that hide inside the coral are a lucky break for Chen Zhiyao.

She wandered around the coral reefs, and a few more small fish appeared in the net she used to catch them.

A little while later, Chen Zhiyao discovered several small purple spiky balls on a small patch of broken rocks.

Although this creature has a rather unusual color, it is actually a type of sea urchin. Chen Zhiyao bent down and deftly collected the several beautiful sea urchins into the net.

At this moment, a small pit, about four or five square meters in size, appeared in front of her.

This small pit isn't deep; the bottom is almost entirely filled with stones of all sizes.

These rocks formed natural caves, providing a sanctuary for nearby marine life.

Chen Zhiyao lifted one of the small stones, and a sesame eel weighing about two pounds quickly darted out from underneath.

She quickly chased after it, caught it in a few swift movements, and then put it in the net bag.

Just as she finished tying the rope of the net, she found a coconut snail the size of a fist at her feet.

This coconut snail looks to weigh only about a pound; it's probably too small, and the melods haven't formed inside yet.

After collecting a few more seashells, Chen Zhiyao spotted a huge ray right in front of her. The ray wasn't lying on the sand; going straight at it would definitely startle it.

So Chen Zhiyao quickly took out her speargun and skillfully aimed it at the big guy in front of her.

With a "whoosh," the harpoon shot directly into the ray.

Although the fish was injured, it still swam several meters away.

When Chen Zhiyao caught up with it, the fish was still struggling to escape, but in the end she managed to put it in a large net.

Just then, Chen Zhiyao's eyes suddenly widened and she excitedly looked to the left.
