Chapter 449 An Encounter with Dolphins

After taking a shower, Chen Zhiyao went back to her room early.

As soon as she entered the house, she couldn't wait to lock the door and then happily began to take stock of her belongings.

Before buying the house, she had saved a total of 1.22 million yuan. With the 300,000 yuan given to her by her grandparents, she had a total of 1.52 million yuan.

She bought the secondhand school district house for 948,000 yuan in cash. The brand-new school district house was bought for her by her parents.

In the past few days, she has spent tens of thousands of yuan on processing the property certificate and paying other fees.

After deducting the money she recently spent, Chen Zhiyao still has 500,000 yuan in savings in her bank account.

Besides her savings, she also owns two newly acquired school district properties and a 12.8-meter fiberglass fishing boat that she bought with her family.

When you do the math, you realize you have quite a substantial fortune.

Chen Zhiyao gripped the two brand-new property ownership certificates tightly, her eyes gleaming with barely suppressed excitement.

Then, like a child, she excitedly pounced on the soft bed and rolled around happily.

"Wow! I finally got my own house!" Chen Zhiyao exclaimed excitedly to herself, her face beaming with happiness and satisfaction.

She chuckled to herself for a while before sitting up, taking a deep breath to calm her excited emotions.

She looked down at the prominent name on the property certificate—Chen Zhiyao—and felt a strong sense of accomplishment.

Thinking about her savings, she couldn't help but start calculating:

"I still have 500,000 yuan in savings. If I work hard, I might be able to buy my third house by the end of the year!"

With this in mind, Chen Zhiyao was instantly filled with motivation and enthusiasm, her mind filled with thoughts of how to make money.

Tomorrow is the high tide, and to earn more money, she specifically set her alarm for 5 a.m. Another beautiful day begins! "Ring ring ring ring..."

As the alarm rang, Chen Zhiyao sat up abruptly from the bed, then dressed quickly and went out to wash up.

Yan Shuting came out of the room yawning and ran into Chen Zhiyao, who was coming out of the bathroom full of energy.

The mother and daughter met face to face. Yan Shuting looked her up and down with a strange expression, then chuckled and teased:

"Hey, why are you up so early today? You usually don't want to get up even after being urged three or four times."

Just as Chen Zhiyao was about to speak, Chen Weiqiang, who was following behind Yan Shuting, blurted out in a cheeky tone:

"After buying a house, my wallet has shrunk considerably, so I have to work hard to earn more money."

These were actually Chen Weiqiang's true feelings. After all, his savings had shrunk from 2.1 million to 680,000, so he felt a bit of urgency.

Although Chen Zhiyao felt a sense of urgency, she was more focused on saving money to buy a third house.

However, she hadn't saved enough money yet, so she was too embarrassed to say it out loud. She just gave a few casual replies and went downstairs.

Chen Zhiyao got up early today. When she went downstairs, Grandma Chen was still busy in the kitchen.

"Grandma, let me help you." Chen Zhiyao rolled up her sleeves and slowly opened the glass door to the kitchen.

Grandma Chen was frying fish when she saw her granddaughter coming over. With a loving expression, she stepped aside to make room for her.

"You've come at the right time. Fry these fish, and there's some noodles cooking in the pot over there."

Chen Zhiyao took the spatula and skillfully flipped the small pomfret, which was fried to a golden brown and fragrant color, over in the pan.

"Pork rib noodles and pan-fried pomfret, this is quite a feast for breakfast today."

The aroma of meat made her stomach rumble, and her cravings were instantly aroused.

"We're going out to sea to fish later. It's all hard work, and we won't have the energy to work if we don't eat our fill."

The two chatted and laughed as they busied themselves in the kitchen.

Soon, the steaming hot pork rib noodles and pan-fried pomfret were ready.

The family of five sat around the dining table, enjoying a delicious breakfast while discussing which island they would visit later.

Chen Zhiyao suddenly looked up excitedly, "Why don't we go to Dolphin Island? Maybe we can even run into baby dolphins."

The others didn't have any particular idea about which island to go to; they were all pretty much the same anyway.

Seeing that no one had any objections, Chen Weiqiang, who doted on his daughter, immediately made the decision:

“Sure, it’s been a while since I’ve been to Dolphin Island, might as well go check it out.”

Grandma Chen thought that since it was high tide today, there would surely be a good catch on the beach, and she looked up at everyone with a smile:

"It's high tide today, the water is receding quickly, I'll go beachcombing on the island with you."

"Okay, Grandma, come out to sea with us!"

After breakfast, Chen Zhiyao and the others packed their things and left home in a large group.

"Woof woof woof..."

"Awoooooo..."

Everyone had left, and poor Ah Huang and Xue Tuan could only howl frantically at the gate.

As the group arrived at the pier, the sun, which resembled a salted egg yolk, slowly rose from the sea.

The snow-white clouds were tinged with a vibrant red, while the orange sunlight, like a veil, gently spread across the sea.

As the sun rises, the sea and sky before my eyes are transformed into a magnificent oil painting.

The sea breeze gently caressed my face, bringing a touch of coolness and comfort, all of which made me feel exceptionally relaxed.

After preparing the oil and ice on the boat, Captain Chen Zhiyao came to the wheelhouse with a big smile.

The weather was nice today, sunny and calm, and the fishing boats soon arrived near Dolphin Island.

Unfortunately, Chen Zhiyao was a little disappointed that she didn't get to see the dolphins she had been longing for.

At this moment, Chen Weiqiang and his men moved a net and a bunch of cages onto the deck.

Chen Zhiyao couldn't care less about her disappointment at this point. She quickly maneuvered the fishing boat and placed everything in a suitable location.

Then, the fishing boat slowly docked at the edge of a golden sandy beach.

The group went up to the deck, preparing to go ashore to explore the beach. Suddenly, a clear splashing sound came from not far away.

Chen Zhiyao subconsciously turned around to look, and what she saw was astonishing—there were two adorable little dolphins on the sea!

They would swim around happily like two mischievous children.

A moment later, they both leaped high from the water, tracing graceful arcs in the air before plunging back into the water, splashing up sparkling droplets. The adorable little dolphin, Chen Zhiyao, was filled with excitement, waving her hands and calling out to the cute little dolphin.

The clever little creatures seemed to truly sense her overflowing enthusiasm, with one of the dolphins leaping high from the mirror-like surface of the sea.

Immediately afterwards, another dolphin, not to be outdone, also leaped out of the water with a graceful movement, causing Chen Zhiyao to scream with excitement.

After jumping twice in a row, the two lively and active dolphins, perhaps tired from playing, slowly sank into the deep sea.

On the azure sea, ripples were left in circles that gradually disappeared.
