Chapter 29 Lobster Explosion

Bai Jiwen quickly stepped forward, grabbed the lobster by its two long whiskers, lifted it up, and threw it into the bucket.

"Did we stir up a lobster's nest today?" the skinny man sighed, staring at the crevice in the rock.

Mingjing was just about to go and see when Mingyue screamed beside her.

"Sis, I found a huge lobster! It's lying on the beach right there, alive!"

"Huh?" Mingjing hadn't even reacted when Aliang started complaining, "Damn it, why are there so many lobsters here? I found a family of three!"

The family of three was trying to squeeze into the metal can in front of them, which was less than a meter away.

Mingjing was frustrated. She had just checked and her luck stat hadn't changed. The tools she used shouldn't have given her such good luck. What was going on?

Mingjing was extremely frustrated as Bai Jiwen and his group kept reporting that they had found lobsters.

They were busy until midnight, and Mingjing and her team didn't have time to rest. There were so many lobsters that they couldn't fit them all in the bucket, and Mingjing even had a phobia of trypophobia.

There were many lobsters, and they were all quite large. They were about to crawl out, so Mingjing told Aliang to go home and get the big net.

Even fish eggs can't escape, let alone lobsters.

Exhausted from searching, Mingyue sat down on the beach to rest, her mind constantly pondering the matter.

"What's going on?"

"Sis, so many lobsters, nothing else. I'm so lucky today."

Mingyue swallowed hard as she looked at the lobster that weighed more than ten pounds.

"Yes, we can buy the big lobsters, and we'll keep the small ones for ourselves, so we'll keep them separate."

Lobsters are expensive, especially the big ones. The smaller ones are good for hot pot or soup.

Ah Liang dragged over a large net, and the group yawned as they loaded the lobsters into it. Mingjing checked the system with a puzzled look and saw that his luck value had increased by fifty.

It must be because of the gloves. Could this be the reason why the lobsters had a meeting today?

But she had bought even better equipment before, and she had never had such good luck.

Mingjing still couldn't figure it out, so she simply stopped thinking about it and joined the others in picking up lobsters.

The net was ten meters long when spread out, and the various sizes of the net weighed about a hundred kilograms. They were about to make a fortune.

The net was quickly filled; the lobsters were soft-bodied and wouldn't get crushed, so they could hold out until they got home.

"Sister, it's too heavy, we can't lift it at all," Mingyue said, looking troubled.

Despite having so many people, lobsters are flexible and can move around, and carrying dozens of kilograms on each person would be quite a struggle. They need a vehicle.

"Godfather, can I use your phone?" Mingjing sighed.

"Oh, Ah Liang"

Bai Jiwen reached out, and A Liang pulled out a huge mobile phone from his waist and handed it to Bai Jiwen.

"It's so big," Mingyue exclaimed.

"What's your home phone number?" Mingjing asked, picking up her phone.

At midnight, Ming Dahai was fast asleep when he heard the sound and thought he was dreaming, until his phone rang twice.

He groggily turned on the light, opened the drawer, touched the mobile phone, and, not knowing how to use it, pressed a bunch of buttons randomly, and heard a sound coming from inside.

"Mom and Dad!"

"Mingjing!" Ming Dahai exclaimed, startled awake. "You haven't come back yet, it's so late?"

He intended to wait for Mingjing to return inside the house, but he ended up falling asleep while waiting.

"Mom and Dad, we found a lot of lobsters. We need a truck to come and haul them away. We can't lift them ourselves."

Mingjing saw Bai Jiwen sitting on a rock, panting heavily, and she continued, "Boil some plain water for my godfather, just a pot will do."

Upon hearing this, Ming Dahai rubbed his eyes and struggled to get up. Sun Yunmei, who was beside him, woke up and asked groggily, "Mingjing is back?"

"No, she and Mingyue are still at the beach. They said there are a lot of lobsters and asked me to find a car to bring them back for her. You should get up and boil a kettle of water."

After saying that, he got up, picked up the clothes hanging on the wall, and went out.

"Drinking a pot of water in the middle of the night, aren't you afraid of getting a swollen pig's head?" Sun Yunmei muttered as she got up and went to the kitchen to boil water.

Ming Dahai got up and went to the yard to pull the flatbed cart. Last time he used the flatbed cart, the tire was flat, so he went to the warehouse to find tools to change the tire.

The temperature dropped quickly at night, and a pot of boiling water soon turned into cold water. Ming Dahai changed the tire and pulled the flatbed cart to the beach.

Lobsters are fragile and easily damaged; if their claws are lost, they become worthless. Ming Dahai moved quickly.

They soon arrived at the beach, and seeing so many lobsters, Ming Dahai was momentarily terrified.

"Lobsters causing trouble?"

The tide came in late today, and everyone who saw Mingjing catching so many lobsters stayed to watch the spectacle.

"My God, so many lobsters! I've never seen anything like it in all my years of beachcombing."

"What's going on today? I haven't seen any of them, they're all with you."

"Mingjing, you're a lucky star, aren't you? How come you're always so lucky and manage to catch such big fish?"

Mingjing looked up and saw Mingdahai, urging, "Dad, hurry up and put him in the car."

“This won’t work. The lobsters down there will lose their claws. Go pick some foxtail grass from the roadside, twist it into a rope, tie the claws together, and throw it on the car.”

"Mingjing, I think there might be more. Go check it out, don't worry about me."

Without a rope, Ming Dahai immediately led several bodyguards to the shore to pull up weeds and twist them into a rope, while Mingyue stayed behind to watch over the lobsters.

Mingjing nodded, took the water bottle from the car, poured a few bowls of warm water, and handed them to Bai Jiwen.

"Godfather, I owe everything to you guys for today's online explosion, otherwise I would have been exhausted."

"It's only right to help my daughter. You're such a thoughtful girl," Bai Jiwen said, taking the teacup and drinking it all in one gulp.

The tea tasted slightly bitter, and he frowned, gritting his teeth as he swallowed it.

Mingjing smiled and handed each of them a bowl of tea.

After drinking the water, Mingjing and his group got into another fight. Seeing that Mingjing had caught a lot of lobsters, many fishermen joined in.

"What's going on today? So many lobsters, did they take down their entire hideout?"

"I don't know, but I've heard that lobsters eat meat. Maybe something attracted them and they got stranded."

Apart from the group that escorted Ming Dahai back, the rest followed Ming Jing to find lobsters.

"Godfather, watch your step," Mingjing reminded him.

"Mingjing, look what's that?" Bai Jiwen screamed, pointing at something lying on the beach ahead.

When Mingjing shone the light on it, it appeared to be a huge creature. As she got closer, she gasped in shock.

Half a whale was lying on the shore. It wasn't very big, and its lower body had been eaten by some creature, leaving only its upper body exposed.

It looks like a baby lobster. No wonder there are so many lobsters here today; they must have been attracted by this baby lobster.

"Push it into the sea." Mingjing observed that it must have died recently and was washed ashore by the waves.

A whale fall brings forth countless life forms. Returning it to the sea nourishes all living things, ensuring the ocean's continuous vitality—this is what fishermen should do.

People gathered around and pushed the whale closer to shore. It wasn't very big, so pushing it wasn't difficult.

The whale had just moved when Mingyue caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye and screamed in fright.

"Ah! A snake!"
