Chapter 127 Awakening

He only had time to see the many wires connected to Duan Linzhou's body on the bed, and the long, dark blue silk pajamas he was wearing.

Lin Hu suddenly sat up in bed with a start. When he saw the scene in front of him, he was lying on the bed, which was surrounded by roses.

He immediately went out to find Duan Linzhou, opened the door, and all he could see was a vast expanse of white snow.

The air was filled with the aroma of food and the salty smell of the sea.

The raft was bare, clearly indicating that Duan Linzhou had moved the roses, roots and all, directly into the bedroom.

I went straight to the kitchen on the first floor and saw Duan Linzhou busy cooking.

Lin Hu didn't say anything. He walked over and saw that Duan Linzhou had stopped what he was doing and was concentrating on stirring the porridge in the pot. He reached out and hugged the other's waist from behind.

"You're awake." Duan Linzhou affectionately reached out and placed his hand on his waist, without pushing him away.

"Brother Duan, I love you."

Lin Hu never expected that such cheesy words would come out of his mouth one day.

But if he were to express his gratitude, he wouldn't know where to begin.

"Um?"

Duan Linzhou reacted immediately and turned around to hug Lin Hu.

"I love you too," Duan Linzhou said, placing a kiss on Lin Hu's forehead.

This was the first time Lin Hu had said something like this, and so had Duan Linzhou, but both of them were lost in their own little world.

"Knock knock knock, Lin Hu, I've finished looking, is there any more?" Ao Jinjin stood at the kitchen door and knocked on the glass door with his slightly chubby little hand.

Ever since he heard many people calling Lin Hu by that name, he started calling him that too.

Accompanying them was Boss Zhou, who had grown a bit more.

As soon as Boss Zhou saw his master, he happily ran towards Lin Hu, eventually weaving between Lin Hu's legs, his tail wagging like a propeller.

Lin Hu gently pushed Duan Linzhou away, got out of his arms, and roughly ruffled the dog's head, making its already long fur all messy.

Walking up to Ao Jinjin, he asked in confusion, "What? You've finished watching?"

“Television,” Ao Jinjin said, pointing to the direction of the screen outside.

"Huh? Didn't I remember Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf had over 5,000 episodes? How come I finished watching it so quickly?" Lin Hu muttered as he walked outside.

"I've been watching it for more than ten days," Ao Jinjin said proudly, having watched it almost day and night.

But these words stunned Lin Hu. If he remembered correctly, Ao Jinjin had only been on his raft for a few days. Where did he see that?

"Oh, you've been unconscious for five days." Ao Jinjin noticed Lin Hu's confusion and took the initiative to explain.

If Lin Hu hadn't been in a coma, he wouldn't have had the opportunity to watch TV day and night.

"What?!" Lin Hu's shocked voice was so loud that Duan Linzhou in the kitchen could hear it.

"What's wrong?" Duan Linzhou came out of the kitchen and saw Lin Hu looking at him incredulously in the living room.

"I was unconscious for 5 days?" Lin Hu pointed to himself in disbelief.

He had originally planned to finish his meal and calm down before asking him why he had fainted.

But now he's incredibly curious.

"Mm." Duan Linzhou nodded in response.

"Then, according to the dates, shouldn't it be time to land on the island now?" Lin Hu asked curiously.

"Mm." Duan Linzhou nodded again.

Lin Hu glanced at Ao Jinjin, knowing that as long as they were within the Qinglong Island area, the raft would be safe even without the system's protection.

But he was curious about how he had fallen into a coma, and what had happened during those five days. How had Duan Linzhou found him?

He knew Lin Hu had many questions he wanted to ask, but he still wanted the other person to eat something first.

"Eat something first. Aren't you hungry after all this time?" Lin Hu had just finished asking when he felt his stomach rumbling.

The silence lasted for a few seconds before being broken by Ao Jinjin.

"I want to watch TV."

Lin Hu turned his head to the side and quietly said to Ao Jinjin, who had her hands on her hips and a small mouth pouting.

"Alright, alright, this dragon is thousands of years old, yet it acts like a little kid." Lin Hu compromised, his words tinged with disdain, but he still set up an animated film featuring two bears for him.

Ao Jinjin reached out and pulled Boss Zhou into her arms to watch the new cartoon together.

Seeing that the dragon and the dog were getting along well, Lin Hu followed Duan Lin into the kitchen.

"How did I fall unconscious?" Lin Hu couldn't help but ask.

He planned to ask each question one by one.

Duan Linzhou looked at Lin Hu, whose eyes were bright and who was staring at him with a thirst for knowledge. His gaze then moved down and he saw that even though Lin Hu was wearing a fleece-lined sweatshirt, it couldn't hide his thin body.

He had seen Lin Hu's memories and knew that it was because he often forgot to eat due to work and study that he developed stomach problems, which eventually progressed to stomach cancer.

Duan Linzhou looked away from the pot and casually replied, "It's from that dried black fish we caught before."

That night, everyone went to sleep, and the black mermaid was kept at the dock. Because they were afraid that the mermaid would dry out and die, they put her in a closed cage in the sea.

Then the large, wavy black merman that was caught earlier appeared and rescued the merman from the cage.

Two mermaids, passing by their raft, hatched a plan to trap everyone in a dream while they slept.

The songs of black merfolk can not only bewitch marine life and cause it to become agitated, but can also lull humans into a dream state.

The original plan was to weave a beautiful dream for Lin Hu, so that he would be immersed in the dream and unwilling to wake up, but Ling Jiuqi was no ordinary person.

After Lin Hu didn't wake up on the second day, realizing something was wrong, he and Duan Linzhou ventured into Lin Hu's nightmare.

Resurrecting the previously blurred memories, the experience at Kelin Lake is also a scar.
