"Let's go now, those people should all be off work by now," Duan Linzhou reminded him from the side.
It's already 9 PM. Although they finish work at Qinglong Island at 6 PM, there's no guarantee that Hong Haoyue won't exploit them.
When the three arrived at the plum orchard, it was quiet and dark, indicating that everyone had already left.
The three of them squatted behind a plum tree, with Duan Linzhou keeping watch and Lin Hu guarding Chen Mingyao.
Seeing that Chen Mingyao had come to his senses, Lin Hu immediately asked, "Can you sense it?"
Chen Mingyao nodded. "Yes, we found it. The entrance is halfway up the mountain. I'll take you there."
After saying that, Chen Mingyao got up from the ground, dusted off his hands, and led the two of them back the way they came.
The way down the mountain was faster than the way up. In just a few minutes, Chen Mingyao led his men to the place he remembered.
The three stopped in the middle of the stone path leading down the mountain. Chen Mingyao pointed to the stone wall on the right and said, "This is it."
Lin Hu and Duan Linzhou went over to observe. It was a cliff-like stone wall that looked smooth from a distance but was full of pits and bumps up close.
After observing for a while, Chen Mingyao looked suspicious and tentatively reached out to pry at a stone on the wall next to him. The stone was loose and he pried it off with a little force.
The next second, the ground beneath Chen Mingyao's feet suddenly collapsed, revealing a hole, and he fell right down into it.
This was something the three of them hadn't expected. Chen Mingyao held back from screaming and tried his best to open his eyes to see what was going on around him, looking for a place to land.
Suddenly, a vine came from above, wrapped around his waist, and held him firmly in mid-air.
He looked closely and realized that Lin Hu and Duan Linzhou had also jumped down, and the vines tied around his waist were Yan's.
Lin Hu and Duan Linzhou flew slowly down from the air. After landing safely, Chen Mingyao couldn't help but flatter them.
"Thank you, Brother Lin, for saving my life. Your superpowers are getting stronger and stronger."
After thinking for a moment, Chen Mingyao said to Duan Linzhou beside him, "Of course, Brother Duan's superpower is also amazing. He can fly now. In the future, he might just create a tornado."
After Duan Linzhou's wind-type ability was upgraded to level 6, he was able to directly condense wind wings for flight.
Faced with Chen Mingyao's flattery, Duan Linzhou said he didn't want to listen.

After navigating several twists and turns through the cave, and even forgetting some of the paths along the way, Chen Mingyao had to use his special ability to detect the way again and again before finally finding the stone door.
"This is it, but why can't I open it this time?" Chen Mingyao tried to push it several times, but couldn't open it. He was still leaning against the door trying to open it. By the end of his sentence, he was trembling and gritting his teeth because of the force he was using.
"How did you get in before?" Lin Hu asked, puzzled.
"I couldn't get in at first either, but then I came back again, and the stone door opened by itself, so I just went in," Chen Mingyao explained, also feeling a bit strange. Could it be some kind of mechanism that he accidentally triggered? Like just now?
Just as Lin Hu was about to ask something else, the stone door suddenly opened automatically inward.
The three were startled and immediately became alert. Lin Hu took out a small night light for illumination, which was no less useful than Chen Mingyao's luminous pearl.
As soon as the warm light shone, the stuffy air around us, which had been feeling stifling due to the extremely hot weather, suddenly became fresh.
Duan Linzhou stepped forward, took the small nightlight from Lin Hu's hand with one hand, and led him inside with the other.
Chen Mingyao scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly and followed the two inside.
The winding route inside was exactly the same as the one Chen Mingyao had seen before. When they were about to enter the place that looked like a prison, the three of them stopped in their tracks because they could hear footsteps coming towards them.
The three quickly dodged around the corner, where a man in a white coat walked out. It was the "doctor" Chen Mingyao had met earlier.
The other person walked briskly and seemed to be in a good mood.
After the "doctor" left, the three of them came out and went inside, only to be horrified by the scene before them.
Chen Mingyao immediately pinched his nose and looked in horror toward the direction where the cage had been placed.
The man inside had changed drastically; his skin was bluish-gray, his hair had turned white, his nails had turned completely black, and his physique had become much more robust.
The man was still locked in the cage, but no longer restrained. He was now lying on the ground like a dog, eating a large bowl of raw meat in front of him. Several human fingers could be seen in the raw meat.
This is clearly no longer human, but it doesn't resemble a zombie either; it's more like an unfamiliar monster.
The monster suddenly stopped eating, sniffed the air, and looked up to meet the eyes of the three people.
It lunged forward instantly, crashing directly into the hard iron cage with a loud, resounding impact.
It is clearly able to see directly and also possesses intelligence. The monster is currently reaching for the door lock, but the door is locked and there is no key, so it cannot get out.
Lin Hu felt a chill run down his spine. He was still thinking about what he had just seen, and he could even imagine the cracking sound of the bones as the monster chewed those fingers.
Chen Mingyao was examining the cages on the surrounding walls with his luminous pearl when he couldn't help but gasp.
The zombies inside had all been dismembered; some had only left a pool of thick green blood on the ground, their bodies gone.
Thinking about what the monster had just eaten outside, he quickly shook his head to shake off these wild thoughts.
"What do we do now?" Chen Mingyao asked Lin Hu, who was easier to talk to.
"Take more photos as evidence and leave immediately." After saying that, Lin Hu quickly opened his system. In case of any unexpected events, he sent each photo he took directly to the small group of eight people he had created before.
