No one dared to cause any more trouble; they all swallowed their words.

Lin Hu quietly gave Chen Xing a thumbs up, and Chen Xing looked up proudly and smiled in response.
Lin Hu acted quickly, and Yan poked his head out from his palm. A few strands of ice flew over and instantly froze the monster's feet.
However, the freeze only lasted for a short while, because the "doctor" then manipulated the monster to catch zombies again. After swallowing a few crystal cores, he kicked the ice beneath his feet and shattered it.
"It's no use." The "doctor" smiled wickedly from the side, his eyes lingering on the flame on Lin Hu's shoulder with a greedy look.
Just then, Belle swam up to the "doctor" without anyone noticing and grabbed his ankle.
She was frighteningly thin; Belle felt like she could almost encircle her ankles with her hands.
Without hesitation, as the other person looked down at her, Belle quickly arrived, and the "doctor" was led into the sea.
The mermaid was very strong. When Belle pulled, the "doctor's" leg bone was cracked, and his head hit the ice hard when he fell.
As he went into the sea, blood splattered in the water. A shark nearby, unable to resist the lure of the blood, swam towards him.
Fortunately, the monster reached into the water and pulled the "doctor" up, thus saving him from being eaten by the fish.
But the "doctor's" expression was clearly off. He hadn't just controlled the monster to save him; his command should have been to continue paving the road. Why would he suddenly save him?
Just as the "doctor" was still wondering, someone felt a tightness in their chest and even had trouble breathing. In a belated reaction, they looked down and saw a hand piercing through their heart.
Belle originally wanted to pull the person into the water again, but seeing this scene, she froze on the spot, unsure whether she should pull them or not.
"Ha, ha ...
"As expected, apart from not being modified by the strongest ability user, you are simply a perfect experimental subject."
The monster was clearly furious, but its vocal cords had hardened, and it couldn't produce any normal sounds; it could only roar like a monster.
"You're furious, aren't you? Look, even as a zombie, you still retain consciousness. How perfect and powerful... Ugh!"
Before the "doctor" could finish speaking, the monster threw him onto the ice and roughly ripped off the bracelet from his wrist, breaking off his entire thumb.
"Ha, ha, well done, excellent!" The "doctor" chuckled and stood up as if nothing had happened.
Just then, someone's muttering reached Lin Hu and the others. They couldn't hear it clearly, but it sounded like they were saying something like... rebirth?
Could that person's superpower be—regeneration?
As they were thinking this, they were already getting confirmation: the hole in the "doctor's" chest had healed, and only his tattered, blood-stained clothes proved that his heart had indeed been ripped out. Now, there was only a piece of intact skin inside the hole in his clothes.
There are such incredible superpowers!
No wonder that doctor was so bold, daring to get so close to zombies and even study them.
"You were the one who bullied me first, now it's my turn to bully you!" The "doctor" said, taking out a new bracelet from his backpack and putting it on.
The monster was clearly taken aback, its body suddenly out of its control, and it bent down to grab Belle.
Belle, who was watching the show, was suddenly attacked. She quickly dodged and swam a little into the sea, but the monster suddenly jumped down after her.
He can actually swim!
Belle was shocked, and so were the people on the shore. Zombies are stiff-bodied; aren't they supposed to be unable to do things like swimming?
"It seems you mermaids have figured out a way to control the mutated beasts in the ocean." The "doctor" said to the two mermaids on the back of a whale not far away after watching the monster go into the sea to chase Belle.
"Let me guess, could it be a white merman and a black merman singing together?"
The "doctor" chuckled sinisterly, his eyes filled with malice: "What if I caught that mermaid in the sea and slit his throat?"
Wenxi couldn't see, but she could pinpoint the other person's location by their voice. She threatened angrily, "You dare!"
The sharks all swarmed around her, and Belle was still swimming desperately. The creatures behind her were moving so fast that she had to dodge their swipes every now and then.
After Belle swam to the deep sea with the monster, she took out many things she had bought at Linhu.
Feeling faint ripples on the sea, Wenxi was a little worried, but Lena noticed the doctor's unusual expression: "It's okay, don't worry, she'll be fine."
During this lull, Lin Hu and his team didn't sit idle either. Some were rescuing people, while others were removing ice. They quickly reached the "doctor."
Duan Linzhou wouldn't let him go just because he was in a daze. A gust of wind swept past and severed his arm. Only when he felt the pain did the "doctor" come back to his senses.
He looked at Duan Linzhou in disbelief, his eyes filled with satisfaction and madness. His arm grew bones and flesh rapidly, forming a brand new, complete arm.
The speed of recovery is so fast that it's frightening.
"I've got it sorted!" Belle suddenly popped her head out of the water and shouted happily, throwing an arm at the "doctor's" feet.
It's the monster's arm!
The ice beneath the "doctor's" feet was slowly cracking because of the monster's death, but since something was standing on it, it would soon collapse.
Behind him, the zombies, now free from the monster's control, began to revert to their previous behavior, biting anyone they saw.
The "doctor" was the closest food source to them, but as soon as they moved, the ice beneath a zombie's feet cracked, and he sank straight into the sea.
