Chapter 22 Great Harvest

"Go around this building in front of us and the factory behind it. There are a few blue tin shacks at the very back, they should be warehouses. Let's take a look," Lin Hu said to Duan Linzhou after observing from the air and then flying down.

"Let's go then." Duan Linzhou agreed and followed Lin Hu in that direction.

When the two arrived at their destination, they found that the warehouse with many large trucks was a finished goods warehouse. The trucks were parked very neatly, and even the iron gate was locked with an iron lock. It was likely that there were goods inside, ready to be dispatched the next day.

The warehouse door was also locked, suggesting that the factory must have been deserted after get off work when the apocalypse broke out, otherwise the two of them wouldn't have been able to walk so easily to this point.

Lin Hu instructed Duan Linzhou to pry open the lock on the iron gate of the truck bed while he pried open the lock on the warehouse gate.

Actually, it can't be called prying; Duan Linzhou simply melted the iron lock with fire.

Lin Hu picked up an iron bar, pushed the door open a crack, and then used the iron bar to pry it open with brute force.

Lin Hu stood at the door and looked inside. The light reflected from the glass window could only illuminate the surrounding area, while the walls near the windowless area appeared rather dark. Lin Hu took out a small nightlight and walked inside.

The area closest to the outside is the packaging area, and further in is the finished product area.

Lin Hu collected everything along the way, even the iron frames, leaving nothing but desolation wherever he went.

After taking over this warehouse, they went to another warehouse to pick locks.

When they came out, they saw Duan Linzhou still opening the surrounding cargo containers.

The second warehouse that Lin Hu broke into was full of unprocessed raw materials.

The ceiling of this warehouse is higher than the previous one, and the iron shelves are almost 4 meters high. Large bags of flour are stacked high, and the shelves are also full of white sugar, cooking oil, various jams, and some miscellaneous ingredients.

They took everything directly into their warehouse, including the folded cardboard boxes piled up in the corner.

Lin Hu was very fast; in less than an hour, he had cleaned up all three warehouses, along with the iron shelves and the brooms in the corners.

"I'm done here, are you done over there?" Duan Linzhou asked Lin Hu from outside the warehouse.

"I'm all better now," Lin Hu replied, and then came out.

"It's getting dark, let's hurry and meet up with them," Duan Linzhou said, jumping down from the truck bed.

"Okay." After agreeing, Lin Hu reached out and closed the door of the truck, then moved all the surrounding trucks into the warehouse.

There were a total of 6 vehicles, each 4.2 meters long and 3 vehicles, each 6.8 meters long, and their fuel tanks were almost full.

This action surprised Duan Linzhou. He had originally considered taking the car away, but his backpack didn't allow him to store large objects. Now that Lin Hu had taken it, he figured it was probably because his island had some special function, allowing it to store large objects.

"Let's go." After finishing his business, Lin Hu turned and called Duan Linzhou to leave.

The two went to Duan Bohai's place first, as their factory area was quite large and they couldn't finish collecting the goods in a short time.

Upon arrival, the two simply sent each other a message to let each other know, and then went their separate ways to collect supplies.

Perhaps because the factory is quite large, there were many 9.6-meter box trucks parked next to the warehouse, while there were fewer 4.2-meter ones. There were more than a dozen trucks of various sizes parked there.

The truck was still locked, and the surrounding warehouses looked untouched. Lin Hu had flown over directly. The others probably weren't as fast as him and hadn't even reached this point yet.

They first moved the truck into the warehouse, then found something to pick the lock. There were six or seven warehouses in total, all with roller shutter doors, which were relatively easy to pry open. Lin Hu easily pried them open. Actually, it might also be because he is now a superhuman, with strength greater than that of a normal person.

As soon as the roller shutter was lifted, a stench wafted out, forcing Lin Hu to take a few steps back.

Lin Hu had smelled this odor at least three times today, and he immediately guessed what was inside, and there was definitely something even more disgusting.

He doesn't plan to go into this warehouse; let whoever wants to go can go.

Skip this warehouse and the one next to it, and go directly to the next warehouse.

This factory makes eight-treasure porridge, and Lin Hu's warehouse contains unprocessed raw materials. He suddenly harvested a large amount of grains.

After taking over the factory's three warehouses, there were boxes and boxes of whole grains and finished eight-treasure porridge. The warehouse he had been using on the island was finally full.

Lin Hu also let the remaining warehouses go and sent a message to Duan Bohai, asking them to come and collect them.

While waiting for the others to arrive, Lin Hu started a fire and set up a pot to cook something. Of course, he kept a safe distance from the first warehouse he had opened.

Since Duan Linzhou wasn't there, they could only pour some oil onto the coal and then light it with a lighter.

Lin Hu started making chicken soup, and thinking there were a lot of people, he killed four old hens. While he was plucking the feathers, Duan Bohai and Wen Mofei came over to him from both sides.

Lin Hu heard footsteps, looked up and saw several people walking towards him with smiles on their faces.

"You've arrived. Looks like you've had a good haul." Lin Hu turned to talk to the group, sitting on a small stool, still bent over, peeling feathers from the scalded chickens in the basin.

“Yes, the factory that Fu Ge and I went to produces shampoo and shower gel. They were all newly produced and have a shelf life of nearly three years,” Wen Mofei said excitedly to Lin Hu.

"Hey, where's Brother Duan?" Wen Mofei looked at the group; everyone except Duan Linzhou was present.

“I’ve already messaged him, he should be here soon,” Wen Bozhi said. He had run into him once while searching for supplies earlier.

"Alright, let's take over the supplies from these warehouses first. Honey, you and Xiao Fei can help out at this lake," Duan Bohai said, making the arrangements.
