Chapter 25 Stomach Ailments

"When do you plan to start construction? I'll help you." Duan Linzhou was surprised at first, but then calmed down and smiled as he discussed the details with Lin Hu.

After the meal, Lin Hu scanned the blueprints on the system, confirmed the required materials, and then began collecting them before starting construction.

The task of collecting materials was left to Duan Linzhou; he simply continued cultivating the land in the secluded countryside.

In just one morning, Lin Hu not only cultivated half an acre of land, but also put 200 river shrimp and 200 bass and tilapia, which are produced daily from Lingquan, on the shelves of Boss Zhou's shop.

Although his crayfish and snails are now almost overflowing the seafood section of his supermarket, if he sells the snails now, no one else will have the ingredients to cook them. He's thinking that he should wait until the peppercorns he bought from the seed store ripen before cooking and selling them himself.

The Sichuan peppercorns in Linhu are planted on the mountain and take a week to grow. Once they grow, the ripening period of the peppercorns will be fixed at 24 hours, so he bought five seeds at once.

At exactly 12 o'clock, he returned to the raft on time. Duan Linzhou was already a good helper in the kitchen, and Lin Hu only needed to stir-fry.

It took less than an hour to prepare the two dishes and soup.

The soup was tomato and egg soup, along with dry-pot cabbage and steamed sea bass. The dry-pot cabbage didn't have much dried chili, and Lin Hu thought it was a bit bland, but Duan Linzhou said it was very good.

After the meal, all the ingredients had been collected, but Lin Hu still went to till the land. He had over a dozen packets of seeds that he hadn't planted yet. Looking at the packet of lettuce seeds, he really wanted to try this new dish. After talking to Duan Linzhou, he went to the island.

When he returned, it was already six o'clock, and Duan Linzhou had already prepared the dishes, waiting for him to come back and cook.

Looking at the prepared dishes, Lin Hu was certain that Duan Linzhou still treated him as a patient.

"I'm all better now, so it's okay for me to eat a little spicy food."

"No, you were in so much pain last night, you don't seem to have any memory left."

"No, I'm from the South, I can't live without chili peppers."

"Wait two more days before eating it."

The two stood in front of the kitchen stove arguing, which ended with Duan Linzhou backing down and Lin Hu angrily slapping the other's arm.

Lin Hu ate light meals again that evening, resigning himself to his fate; he couldn't really risk his health.
