Zhou Guanqi happened to have his back to Lu Chuqing and the others. Hearing the commotion, he looked at Fu Sheng, whose face was pale, and smirked, "There's no one left behind. Should we leave too?"
The boy pretended to be nonchalant and replied, "What the hell is it to me? If you want to leave, then leave!"
After saying that, he picked up an original English book and pretended to flip through a couple of pages.
Two seconds later, he threw the book down and cursed, "What the hell is this lousy book? It's like some kind of alien script!"
Then he stood up, as if nothing had happened, and said, "This alien script is giving me a headache. I'm going to get some fresh air!"
The other two boys chimed in, "I told you, Sheng-ge, you're not cut out for the library. Look, you've only been here for ten minutes and you're already leaving again."
"Damn it, if you can't speak properly, then shut your mouths!" Fu Sheng kicked the nearest boy in the shin and ordered, "Hurry up and put the books back where they belong, let's go!"
The two boys shut their mouths, grabbed a huge stack of books, and ran to the bookshelf. Zhou Guanqi sighed and packed up his homework, saying to Fu Sheng, "You really are..."
The latter retorted with a fierce look, "What's wrong with me!"
The boy raised an eyebrow and smiled wickedly, "You have some manners, but not much. You even know to put your books away properly."
Fu Sheng cursed angrily.
I know this guy is despicable, but firstly, I can't beat him, and secondly, our two families have a good relationship, so it's impossible for us to actually fight.
Fearing that Qu Fusang would leave too quickly, Fu Sheng didn't wait for the two boys. Seeing that Zhou Guanqi had finished packing his things, the two of them headed outside first.
At first, they were just wandering around aimlessly, and no one noticed where the books came from. The two boys found a relatively large gap, stuffed a stack of books into it haphazardly, and then ran out.
Nangong Yu thought the book was so good that he decided to borrow it and read it, so he lingered at the library for a while.
As soon as they finished the formalities and stepped out the door, Fu Sheng and the others followed behind them.
Qu Fusang turned her face away, pulled Lu Chuqing aside, and walked quickly away.
Nangong Yu belatedly realized that the others were also there, and greeted them in a cheeky manner, "Hey, isn't this Brother Yellow Hair! You've got some free time to come to the library?"
Fu Sheng glared at him fiercely and cursed, "Who the hell is your brother? Get the hell away from me."
The two girls had already walked a short distance, so they were practically together. Lu Chuqing turned around and called out to him, "Nangong Yu, we're leaving."
"Coming, coming!" The boy ignored the other boys and jogged a few steps to catch up.
Zhou Guanqi was different from Fu Sheng and the others who didn't study at all. When he heard that he was going to an internet cafe, he was thinking of trying out his newly bought equipment and he was quite excited.
Then the conversation suddenly turned to the library. He said he didn't mind, but he still felt a little bored.
He knew that a young girl had moved into the Fu family home. Fu Sheng's relationship with her was somewhat complicated. He had met her twice before; she was a petite girl who seemed quite well-behaved.
He wasn't interested in girls like that, and knowing that Fu Sheng was coming to the library because she was looking for Qu Fu Sang only made him even less interested.
When he came in, he saw a girl with a bun hairstyle sitting next to the little girl. She was wearing a light yellow Peter Pan collar dress and had a strawberry hair clip that a three-year-old girl would like.
He felt she was completely childish, so he didn't give her another look and turned his back to them after finding a seat.
Just now, in the instant Lu Chuqing turned around to call someone, he saw the girl's face.
How should I put it?
She is indeed still quite young. Being in the same class as Qu Fusang means she's only in the first year of junior high school, so it's normal for her to still look young.
But what truly amazed him was the girl's slightly upturned eyes.
Her eyes were big and round, yet the slightly upturned corners of her eyes when she looked over made them seem alluring.
She is indeed still young, and looks very innocent and cute overall, but in a few more years, her eyes will become incredibly alluring.
Looking at the retreating figure ahead, Zhou Guanqi asked, "Is that boy from the Nangong family?"
Fu Sheng stared at the little girl's retreating figure, feeling a lump in her throat. She said unhappily, "How would I know? There are plenty of people in the world with the same name. Why would I bother asking about a guy?"
That being said, he was indeed much more polite to Nangong Yu because of his surname. If anyone else had dared to speak to him like that, he would have kicked them long ago.
Zhou Guanqi raised an eyebrow. "Alright then." Then, changing the subject, he added, "Who cares if it is or not? Making a friend is a good thing."
Then I followed after him.
Fu Sheng wanted to say he wouldn't go, but the boy turned around and shouted at them, "Come on, Master Qi will treat you to milk tea!"
The two boys laughed and followed, tugging at Fu Sheng, "Come on, Sheng-ge, it's more fun with more people!"
Fu Sheng had no choice but to follow, secretly cursing Zhou Guanqi for being so troublesome. Didn't he see that his little potato thunderbolt was running faster and faster?
The owner of the small bookstore who had been helping Xi Qingxu move books introduced her to a job: helping organize books at the city's large library.
Since it was a part-time job, he helped move books and did simple sorting and classification in the warehouse.
Not long ago, someone asked him to help organize some books, saying he had something to do and wouldn't be back for a while.
He agreed as soon as the man finished speaking because they offered him more money.
While tidying up, I found a huge stack of books of all kinds haphazardly piled up in a gap.
He began tidying up without any emotion on his face, picked up the books and looked at them, then started moving back and forth between the bookshelves according to their categories.
There were several milk tea shops not far from the library. Lu Chuqing didn't know the exact family situation of her two friends, so she chose one with reasonable prices.
Although Qu Fusang often eats expensive chocolates, the girl doesn't usually act like she comes from a wealthy family.
