Chapter 47 First Day Supply

Without hesitation, Bu Ling took out money from his pocket—actually, from his spatial storage—and handed it to Aunt Zhao. Aunt Zhao accepted it.

Then Aunt Tian calculated the cost of the vegetables for Aunt Zhao. This had nothing to do with Bu Ling, so she didn't get involved. She said goodbye to the two of them and then took her rations back to her house.

After putting it away, I went back into the yard and pushed the bicycle and the vegetables on it into the house.

Aunt Zhao put the purchased grains into the bottom shelf of the cupboard. She bought twenty jin of wheat flour, fifteen jin of cornmeal, and the rest was sweet potatoes for Buling. The grains filled the bottom of the cupboard completely, leaving no space at all.

Then there are the vegetables. Potatoes don't spoil easily, so I put them outside. I also put a little bit of tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, and green beans outside just for decoration. The rest of them are all put inside the space.

It's not really necessary to buy all the vegetables for the entire month at the beginning of the month, but the problem is, who knows when the next supply will be available? It's better to buy everything at the beginning of the month to avoid having to keep checking every day.

That's the downside of city life. Getting vegetables and such isn't very convenient. In the countryside, you can grow your own vegetables and raise your own chickens for eggs, but in the city, you're completely reliant on supplies.

Despite all the inconveniences of city life, Buling never considered going to the countryside; she knew herself quite well.

Putting aside the fact that she's not the type to endure hardship, with her current frail physique, she'd be dead in no time if she went to the countryside. So she'd better stay in the city and live a simple life.

Although it's inconvenient, she has her own space, and as long as she's careful, her quality of life can still be maintained.

Thanks to the time-traveling god, she was able to travel with her spatial ability.
