Chapter Fifty, you've really grown some skills! One by one!
"What did you say?!" Upon hearing this, Zhong Chengfa's eyes instantly turned red, and he looked like a rooster whose tail had been stepped on, with all his feathers standing on end.
He took a sudden step forward, pointed at Zhong Chengren's nose, and cursed, "Zhong Chengren! Say that again, you son of a bitch!"
Zhong Chengren, holding Zhong Yuanyuan, showed no sign of backing down. Instead, he took a step forward, chin held high, his face full of arrogance: "I said your son is useless! What's wrong? You don't like it?"
"You son of a bitch! What right do you have to talk about my son!" Zhong Chengfa trembled with rage, veins bulging on his forehead. "Even if I'm a worthless wretch, I'm still better than you, a piece of trash who only knows how to ask your family for money, cheats on your wife, and is even despised by your own daughter!"
"Who's been cheating on me?" Zhong Chengren's expression changed, as if a sore spot had been hit, and his eyes turned fierce. "I'll show you who's a piece of trash today!"
Zhong Chengyi had just returned from working in the fields and was about to have lunch when he entered the yard and saw his two older brothers poised to fight.
His heart skipped a beat, and he quickly ran over: "Big brother, second brother! What are you doing? Talk it out, we're all brothers!"
Both Zhong Chengfa and Zhong Chengren were furious and wouldn't listen to any advice.
"Third brother, don't interfere! Today I'm going to teach this arrogant bastard a lesson!" Zhong Cheng roared angrily, and stepped forward to shove Zhong Chengren.
Zhong Chengren was even more reckless. He sneered and looked at Zhong Chengfa's murderous look, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes.
He didn't even bother to say anything more, and simply shoved Zhong Yuanyuan, who was in his arms, into the arms of Zhong Chengyi, who had just rushed over!
"Third brother, catch!"
Zhong Chengyi was caught off guard by this sudden turn of events and instinctively hugged his soft little niece.
Before he could react, he saw Zhong Chengren, like an enraged leopard, swing his fist, as big as a casserole dish, and smash it hard towards Zhong Chengfa's face!
"Bang!"
Zhong Chengfa's face burned with pain, and he felt a rush of blood to his head.
"Fuck your mother, Zhong Chengren!"
He roared like a firecracker that had been lit, and without caring about his dignity as the eldest brother, he pounced on Zhong Chengren like a madman!
"You son of a bitch, you dare to fight back!"
Before Zhong Chengren could even stand up straight, Zhong Chengfa pounced on him like a hungry tiger, and the two instantly started fighting.
Fists and slaps were thrown haphazardly at the other person, while hurling insults at them.
The yard was instantly thrown into chaos, with chickens running wild and dogs barking, and dust flying everywhere.
Zhong Chengyi, holding the soft and cuddly Zhong Yuanyuan in his arms, was so frightened he almost lost his soul.
He quickly pulled Zhong Hongqing behind him, afraid that he would be accidentally hurt by his two brothers who were fighting fiercely.
"Stop fighting! Stop fighting! What are you doing!"
Zhong Chengyi was so anxious that he stomped his feet, but the two of them wouldn't listen to him.
Seeing that he couldn't persuade her and the little girl in his arms started whimpering again, and looking at Zhong Hongqing, who was huddled beside his legs with a pale face, he gritted his teeth, turned around and ran to the kitchen.
"Mom! Mom! Come out quickly! My eldest brother and second brother are fighting!"
Zhong Chengyi rushed into the kitchen, where the flames in the stove were burning brightly, illuminating Zhang Chunxue's expressionless face.
Zhang Chunxue was holding a spatula and stirring the pot slowly and steadily, seemingly oblivious to the noise and shouting outside.
"Mom! They're really fighting! There's blood!" Zhong Chengyi's voice trembled with anxiety.
Zhang Chunxue slowly raised her eyelids, her voice as flat as a bowl of cold water: "Let's fight then."
"Let them fight, let's see who can kill whom!"
Zhong Chengyi could hardly believe his ears: "Mom! What are you saying! No matter how much they make you angry, they're still your sons!"
His voice was full of anxiety: "He's been beaten black and blue, it'll look terrible if word gets out!"
Zhang Chunxue snorted, tapping the spatula against the edge of the iron wok with a harsh sound: "Ugly? When they were doing those despicable things, why didn't they think it was ugly? Now they know it's ugly?"
She kept her head down, stirring the vegetables in the pan, the rising smoke obscuring her expression.
Seeing Zhang Chunxue's stubbornness, Zhong Chengyi was so anxious that he scratched his head and cheeks.
His eyes darted around and his gaze fell on Zhong Yuanyuan, who was pouting in his arms and about to cry.
A thought flashed through my mind.
He quietly reached out and pinched Zhong Yuanyuan's chubby little bottom lightly.
"Wow--!"
As soon as Zhong Yuanyuan opened her mouth, her earth-shattering cry instantly pierced through the kitchen fumes and drowned out the shouts and curses of the two men in the yard.
Zhong Chengyi immediately picked up Zhong Yuanyuan and went to Zhang Chunxue, looking anxious: "Mom! Look! They're making so much noise, they woke Yuanyuan up! Yuanyuan is so scared she's crying!"
Sure enough, upon hearing Zhong Yuanyuan's cries, Zhang Chunxue's hand suddenly stopped moving.
Her previously expressionless face instantly darkened to a point where it looked like it could be wrung out: "Those two little beasts!"
Zhang Chunxue threw the spatula onto the stove with a "clatter," then turned around and pulled out the gleaming kitchen knife from the knife rack hanging on the wall!
"You want to fight, huh?!"
Holding a kitchen knife, Zhang Chunxue stormed out of the kitchen, looking like a demon.
Zhong Chengfa and Zhong Chengren, who were wrestling in the courtyard, stopped fighting at the same time, startled by the sudden shout.
Both of them had bruises on their faces; Zhong Chengfa had blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, and Zhong Chengren had a bruise around his eye.
They were all somewhat intimidated by Zhang Chunxue, who was carrying a kitchen knife and had a murderous look on her face.
"Come on, come on!" Zhang Chunxue slammed the kitchen knife on the ground with a dull thud. "You think you can fight?"
"Fists aren't enough? Use this!"
She pointed at the kitchen knife, her eyes sweeping sharply over her two sons: "Go ahead and chop! Chop at the other person!"
"Kill one, and the other won't live either; they'll be eating peanuts!"
Zhong Chengfa and Zhong Chengren looked at each other, neither daring to move an inch, let alone touch the kitchen knife.
"Why did you stop fighting?" Zhang Chunxue sneered. "Weren't you quite capable just now?"
She took a step forward, and her two sons unconsciously shrank back.
"You've really grown bold! One by one!" Zhang Chunxue's voice was like ice. "You dare to make a move right under my nose? Are you doing this on purpose to show me?!"
"ah?!"
"You think I'm an eyesore, huh?!"
Zhong Chengfa and Zhong Chengren both lowered their heads, not daring to breathe.
"If you dare to hit your own brothers today, will you dare to hit your mother tomorrow?!"
