Their fingers were tightly intertwined, as if they were somewhat uneasy.
"Hey Lao Li, this guy was brought back by Battalion Commander Gao, don't worry about him too much." The soldier's comrade patted his hand and whispered.
The soldier frowned, maintaining a fair expression. "No matter who brought them, they can't move around freely. What if they leak the intelligence?"
His companion choked.
"Why aren't you leaving yet?" He scolded Lin Xiaoxiao a few more times.
Lin Xiaoxiao's body trembled, her fingers twitched, and the soldier's pupils contracted slightly.
The change happened in an instant, and no one saw it except Lin Xiaoxiao.
Back where she was, Lin Xiaoxiao quietly waited for night to fall. Tonight... should be a big surprise for Chen Wenxiao.
After leaving Ruan Xiong's temporary wartime office, Chen Wenxiao frowned, wondering why Ruan Xiong had called him over.

On his way back, Chen Wenxiao received a hand gesture from one of his people in the intelligence group.
Chen Wenxiao's heart stirred slightly, and he walked over when no one was paying attention.
"Lieutenant, I just received news that the Central Committee has issued an execution order, saying that you have colluded with the enemy, and that Commander Ruan will carry it out."
"What?" Chen Wenxiao's expression changed drastically. "How could the higher-ups accuse me of treason without any evidence?"
The man looked around and whispered, "It seems to be related to Battalion Commander Gao."
Chen Wenxiao clenched his fist. "I understand, thank you."
The man left quickly, and Chen Wenxiao couldn't stay calm any longer. He strode back, intending to think of a solution as soon as possible; he couldn't just die like this without knowing why.
"Whoosh!" A dart shot out from a blind spot, heading straight for Chen Wenxiao's temple.
