Chapter 207 Poisoned

I forced my eyes open and saw that he was holding a strangely shaped plant in his hand.

The leaves are dark green and covered with fine hairs, shimmering with a faint blue light under fluorescent light.

"Old Chen, this plant looks unusual. Isn't it said that there's an antidote near poisonous snakes? Maybe it can cure the snake venom in your body!"

I endured the excruciating pain throughout my body and carefully examined the plant.

The leaf is slightly curled with serrated edges, and every tiny hair is clearly visible under the dim fluorescent light.

However, it is unknown what kind of plant it is.

I'm afraid it might not be an antidote for snake venom, and if I take it, I'll be in big trouble.

Seeing my hesitation, Luo Tianhe gripped the plant tightly in both hands and paced back and forth.

"Old Chen, it's come to this point. If you delay any longer, your poisoning will get worse! How about I break off a leaf and test it myself first? If it's not poisonous, then you can eat it?"

I snatched the plant away from me: "You weren't bitten, why are you eating this random thing!"

At this moment, the snake venom was slowly eroding my body. My left arm was gradually losing sensation, and the numbness spread from my shoulder to my whole body.

At this point, there was no other option but to go all out.

Luo Tianhe quickly squatted down and carefully broke off a leaf.

The moment the leaf was plucked, a strange, refreshing fragrance filled the air, somewhat dispelling the stuffy, decaying smell in the passageway.

I took a small bite.

The leaf entered my mouth, and a bitter juice instantly filled my mouth. I forced myself to swallow it, suppressing my nausea.

Luo Tianhe stared at me nervously: "Old Chen, how is it? Can you feel anything?"

I shook my head, trying to dispel the wave of dizziness that washed over me.

But as soon as he moved, his head felt like it had been hit by a heavy hammer, and he became even more dizzy.

Everything before my eyes began to spin. The walls of the passage and the flickering fluorescent lights overhead transformed into countless blurry shadows in my eyes, twisting and rotating wantonly.

Could it really be poisonous?

The moment the thought crossed my mind, my stomach churned violently, and a strong feeling of nausea shot straight to my throat.

I opened my mouth, wanting to tell Luo Tianhe about my discomfort, but before I could utter a sound, an overwhelming urge to vomit came over me.

I bent over and started vomiting uncontrollably.

Seeing this, Luo Tianhe quickly hugged me and let me lean on him.

"Old Chen, Old Chen! Hang in there!"

I leaned against Luo Tianhe, my consciousness beginning to fade. I could only vaguely hear him shouting something, but the sounds seemed to be separated by a thick wall, and I couldn't make them out clearly.

My strength was being drained away like sand in an hourglass, my limbs became weak and powerless, and even my eyelids were too heavy to lift.

The flickering light slowly disappeared, and everything around gradually turned dark.

I was thrown into a state of confusion, and eventually I completely lost consciousness...
