Chapter Twenty-Seven: Catching the Mole

Leave a few team members behind to supervise the staff at Shunxinzhai. Better safe than sorry; be extremely careful with the details and prevent any possibility of information leaks.

The rest of the group headed to Huang Xiansheng's residence. Upon arriving at Zhangma Lane, Wang Shucheng led his men to block the entrance at the back, while Ning Zhiheng arranged for six team members to lie in ambush in the lane.

His decision to make the arrest in the alley was a lesson learned from the arrest of Yuki Yanagida.

They dared not let Huang Xiansheng into his residence because the situation inside was unknown. If there were any secret passages or something similar inside, it would be troublesome!

He then led the others into a restaurant at the entrance of Zhangma Lane. This lane was Huang Xiansheng's usual route.

After much deliberation, Ning Zhiheng decided not to disperse his men, mainly because his team members were all former soldiers, and their every move exuded a military aura.

Unlike intelligence personnel, they weren't trained and their presence scattered throughout the streets inevitably attracted attention.

Especially for spies whose observational skills far exceed those of ordinary people, this could easily alert Huang Xiansheng.

Looking at the time, according to Huang Hui's instructions, Huang Xiansheng should be back soon.

Sure enough, it didn't take long before a man in military uniform walked out of the alley. He was of medium height and had a strong build. His appearance was also very similar to the sketch photograph.

Everyone's attention was focused on him. Liu Molin, sitting next to Ning Zhiheng at the second-floor window of the restaurant facing the street, was on high alert, his eyes wide open as he carefully observed him.

"Is it him?"

"Yes, it's him. I can recognize him even though he's changed clothes!"

That's great! Ning Zhiheng felt much more at ease; Liu Molin's confirmation made him no longer hesitate.

He went downstairs and waved to the team members who were waiting in the restaurant lobby. The team members got up and walked towards the door.

Huang Xiansheng, who had just entered the alley, sensed something was amiss. Having undergone rigorous spy training, his senses were extremely sharp.

He could vaguely sense that someone was watching him in the dark. It was purely an intuition, but for someone as cautious as him, it was enough to raise his alarm.

Intuition is the human brain's ability to quickly recognize and make a keen judgment about things that suddenly appear in front of it.

In fact, the danger warning that suddenly appeared in Ning Zhiheng's mind during the last operation was a kind of intuition.

What sets him apart is that his ability far exceeds the imagination of ordinary people, reaching a level that science cannot explain.

However, some people with naturally keen perception may occasionally have this feeling, and unfortunately, Huang Xiansheng is one of them.

It can be said that Ning Zhiheng's arrangements were extremely cautious; he avoided appearing on the streets and instead hid in restaurants to keep watch, completely avoiding any contact with Huang Xianyi. However, unexpectedly, a mishap still occurred.

Huang Xiansheng's expression remained unchanged, but his pace began to slow. He was already on high alert and sensed that this was usually the time when people were going home for dinner, and there would always be a few pedestrians walking in the alley.

But there's no one in the alleyway right now. Is this a coincidence? Or is someone blocking pedestrians from passing through?

Fortunately, he always carried a sidearm with him. He slowly moved his hand towards his waist. However, his movement was still noticed by the ambushing team members.

The team members were all well-trained soldiers. They sensed something was wrong when Huang Xiansheng slowed down. When he was about to draw his gun, they simply took action to arrest him.

Before Huang Xiansheng could even touch the gun handle, a gust of wind struck him, and his back was violently hit. Even though he was physically strong, he was knocked to the ground.

But he was prepared. As he leaned forward, he absorbed the force of the blow, rolled over, and drew his sidearm.

The other ambushing team members acted decisively, delivering a straight punch to Huang Xiansheng's chest, followed by a sway of his shoulder and a whip kick that almost brushed past him.

His wrist was also struck hard, and the pistol he had just picked up was knocked out of his hand; there was no hope of getting it back.

Because another figure pounced down from above, he only had time to shake his head to avoid a vital spot before being hit on the shoulder. The powerful impact almost made him kneel down.

The series of actions caught Huang Xiansheng off guard. Several team members were agile and attacked together. Two fists could not fight against four hands. Even he, who was equally proficient in martial arts, could not resist.

However, he wasn't without a trump card. With a flick of his left hand, a dagger appeared in his hand, seemingly out of nowhere.
