Chapter 26 The Fall of the Black Dragon Group

Jiang Qinian cleverly used the power of Heilong and Lao K to quickly subdue the most vicious members of the main criminal gang.

However, he was well aware of the fact that various forces were entrenched in the no-man's-land and that there was also the transfer of benefits between officials of small border countries.

Therefore, after careful consideration, Jiang Qinian made a bold decision: to lead this group straight into Yuncheng.

This move may seem risky, but it was actually meticulously planned.

Yuncheng Public Security Bureau, Y Province.

"Director Gu, you actually believe that a fresh-faced graduate would lead the main criminal gang of the Black Dragon Group to walk right into our trap!"

"Comrade Jiang Qinian is the top soldier in this year's National Defense University graduation exam. I believe in his abilities."

Wang Zheng took a sip of his tea, rolled his eyes inelegantly, and thought to himself that even the elite soldier from the National Defense University would likely become a dead soldier if he went to a no-man's-land. In any case, he simply couldn't believe that the Black Dragon would walk right into his trap.

"In any case, if this news is reliable, it will be a tremendous achievement." Director Gu's eyes were full of anticipation.

Just then, a police siren sounded.

"Chief! They're here!" a policeman ran in to report.

Director Gu immediately stood up. "Let's go, let's go out and take a look."

Wang Zheng followed.

More than ten police cars were parked neatly in front of the police station. The doors opened, and Jiang Qinian led Heilong and Lao K out of the car first.

Subsequently, the other major criminal gangs of the Heilong Group were also escorted off the vehicle one by one.

Everyone was stunned by what they saw. Director Gu smiled with satisfaction, "Comrade Jiang Qinian, well done!"

Jiang Qinian smiled and saluted Director Gu, "Director, I have not failed you!"

This unexpected victory filled the entire Yuncheng Public Security Bureau with joy. However, for Wang Zheng, there was little joy. Instead, his heart was filled with unease and fear.

"Professor, you have to save me! That idiot Heilong will definitely betray me!" During the day, Wang Zheng was terrified when he saw Heilong being taken to the police station.

"Let's stop contacting each other. You know how to behave. Think more about your family!"

The phone went dead. Wang Zheng was filled with despair and regret. He had become a corrupt cop in order to curry favor with the Wang family in the capital of Beijing. He used to be a good cop!

In Qingshi Town, Jiang Wanwan had just gotten out of the car when she saw her mother waiting for her not far away, and her scalp tightened.

Jiang Wanwan ran towards Tian Cuicui, preemptively hugging her tightly and acting coquettishly: "Mom! Have you been waiting for a long time?"

Tian Cuicui finally felt relieved when she saw her daughter return safely.

“Xiao Wan, tell me! You’ve been gone for so long since you left home. You promised to call every day to let us know you were safe, but we haven’t heard from you for a whole week. Your dad booked a plane ticket online and was planning to go there to find you today.”

"Dad, did you go to Y province?" Jiang Wanwan looked ashamed and gently touched the tip of her nose.

"Luckily you called this morning to say you were coming back, otherwise your dad would have actually boarded the plane. I reckon he'll be heading back to Qingshi Town soon."

"Mom, I really know I was wrong! Look, I'm back safe and sound, so please don't be angry anymore." Jiang Wanwan tugged at her mother's clothes and said coquettishly.

"You should think about how you're going to explain this to your dad when you get back!" Tian Cuicui sighed helplessly. "You don't know, I saw on the news the other day that there's some kind of industrial park near Yuncheng that specifically targets young girls and boys like you. They trick people into doing hard labor, and then they force them to have their blood drawn and their kidneys removed. It's absolutely terrifying!"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Wanwan repeatedly promised that she would promptly report her safety to her family in the future.

"Alright, alright, Mom was just worried about you. By the way, you just said you were going to Qingshi Middle School to see your teacher? Then wait for me at the dock after you see your teacher, and we'll go home together later," Tian Cuicui instructed.

"Mom, I'm planning to visit my high school homeroom teacher, Ms. Shi," Jiang Wanwan nodded in response.

"Oh, it's your high school homeroom teacher. I really should pay him a visit. I heard that a lot of teachers from Qingshi Middle School were arrested recently. But your Teacher Shi is a good person, he should be alright, right?" Tian Cuicui asked with some concern.

"Don't worry, Mom, Mr. Shi is doing well. He's now the vice principal of Qingshi Middle School!" Jiang Wanwan replied with a smile.

"That's good. When you go, do you want to bring him a gift or something? He took good care of you when you were in school," Tian Cuicui suggested.

"Okay, Mom, I'll get ready. I'll head over now, see you in a bit!" With that, Jiang Wanwan turned and walked towards Qing Shi Middle School.

At the foot of Qingshi Middle School, Jiang Wanwan took two steps at a time and quickly climbed the mountain.

"Uncle Liu, I'd like to go in and visit Vice Principal Shi. I just made an appointment with him."

The security guard at the school gate has been replaced; it's back to Grandpa Liu from a few years ago.

"Huh! You know me?"

"Yes! When I was studying here, you were the security guard here."

"Haha! The little girl has a good memory. She can go in after registering on the form!" Grandpa Liu said with a smile, holding the visitor registration form.

The atmosphere in the vice principal's office at Qingshi Middle School was somewhat somber.

"Wanwan, I never thought we'd meet again. It's just a pity about Lao Xiao and Lao Zheng... sigh, we still haven't heard from them!"

"What happened between Teacher Xiao and Teacher Zheng?" Jiang Wanwan asked, looking at Teacher Shi, who looked much older.

Seemingly anticipating Jiang Wanwan's question, Teacher Shi sighed softly and slowly recounted, "You must have already heard about the incident at Qing Shi Middle School from the news. Actually, it was you, Teacher Xiao, who first noticed the mysterious disappearances of students in the class. After conducting a private investigation, she was shocked to discover that Bald Zhang was connected to many of the missing students."

Later, she told Lao Zheng and me about it. At that time, I was busy leading students to the city to participate in a competition, so only the two of them went to investigate further.

When I returned, I found that Lao Xiao and Lao Zheng had both resigned and gone home. I tried calling them several times, but could not get through; when I visited them in person, their families were also completely unaware of the situation.

I couldn't believe that either of them would abandon their students and resign. Knowing that this matter was related to Bald Zhang, I investigated it privately. I discovered that over a hundred students had gone missing from the school.

Later, Bald Zhang colluded with other new teachers at the school to suppress me, and even threatened me privately with my family members, forcing me to resign.

I refused, so they placed me under house arrest in the library. It wasn't until this year, when the new principal was transferred and the city government thoroughly investigated the school's student disappearances, that the hidden truth behind the school was revealed. Unfortunately, I still haven't heard from Lao Xiao or Lao Zheng, and I don't even know if they're still alive!

At this point, Teacher Shi frowned, his face full of worry.
