"ah!"
The woman hurriedly reached for it, and Su Miaomiao turned her head to avoid it, but the edge of the notebook grazed her neck.
"hiss!"
Su Miaomiao clutched her neck in pain, her brows furrowing slightly.
I was careless!
"Sister, let me see!"
Ling Jingchen tried to pull Su Miaomiao's hand away, but Su Miaomiao quickly blocked him to the side.
Don't you dare lay a hand on me, or I'll beat you up!
"It's alright!"
As she spoke, she glanced at the bright red bloodstains between her fingers.
The edges of the notebook are sharp enough!
"Sister, here's some tissue, wipe it off!"
The little boy handed her a napkin. Su Miaomiao took two and wiped away the bloodstains. Just as she was about to throw them away, Jingchen took the napkins away.
"There's still some bleeding."
He then handed another clean bill to Su Miaomiao.
Thanks!
Su Miaomiao pressed the tissue to her neck, unaware that after Ling Jingchen retreated back into the room, he raised his hand and brought the blood-stained tissue to his nose to smell it.
A rich, sweet aroma lingered around his nose. He tore off a piece of the bloodstained part and stuffed it into his mouth.
Although he didn't taste it directly, it soothed the gnawing hunger in his stomach.
It tasted even better than he had imagined!

After finishing the morning meeting, Su Yunfeng came to check on the patients and saw his niece standing at the door with a child next to her, who was the younger brother of the patient who had fallen into a coma yesterday.
"It's nothing! The fan just wanted my autograph."
As she spoke, she glanced at the woman from before and noticed that she was staring intently at Su Yunfeng.
"Why are you keeping your hand over your neck? Did you sleep in the wrong place last night and get a stiff neck?"
That shouldn't be! I was perfectly fine when I left this morning.
"I just rubbed it, and there's a little bleeding." She put her hand down and let Su Yunfeng look at her neck. There shouldn't be any more bleeding now.
"I'm so sorry, it was an accident..."
Before Su Miaomiao could ask if the bleeding had stopped, a soft voice rang out from the side.
"I'm sorry, I... I didn't mean to, please don't be angry, I'm so sorry..."
The woman kept apologizing in a panic, as if Su Miaomiao was going to hold her accountable.
Su Yunfeng looked at her and frowned slightly.
He recognized the woman; she was a patient at the hospital who had stayed there for over two months due to a minor ailment.
