Chapter 169 Amusement Park

As dawn breaks, they sleep soundly; at midday, they still sleep soundly.

Just as the warm feeling of the sunlight seemed to spread over them, a slight touch between them awakened them to each other.

Jiang Xu turned his head to look at the dazzling red head on the pure white pillow. He subconsciously reached out and rubbed it. The hair in the morning seemed especially soft, and it tickled as it slipped through his fingers. "Are you awake?"

Gu Li felt a slight warmth on his face. He tilted his head and blinked at the black-haired youth. "Hehe..."

Jiang Xu looked at the person lying down and laughed out loud. He even thought the other person's laughter was a bit silly. "Hehe..." He imitated the other person's laughter and laughed, "What are you laughing at?"

Gu Li: "I don't know, maybe I just want to laugh when I see you. What are you laughing at?"

Jiang Xu: "Just like you, it seems you're awake now. Shouldn't we get up?"

Gu Li reached for his phone. "What time is it?" he asked as he turned on his phone.

The next moment, Jiang Xu saw Gu Li sit up with a jolt, her head bowed as she looked for her slippers. "What's wrong?"

Gu Li looked away. "I can't believe it's already afternoon! The whole morning is gone! Jiang Xu, get up, quick, quick, quick!"

After he finished speaking, he reached out and pulled Jiang Xu up. Jiang Xu sat up with the help of the pull. "It's only Saturday today. We still have Sunday. It's okay."

Gu Li looked at Jiang Xu seriously, "This is different."

Jiang Xu, "Hmm?"

Gu Li tapped her phone screen with her fingertip and said in a serious tone, "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, how many tomorrows are there? Get impatient."

Jiang Xu nodded, "Yes, they're getting impatient."

They were really in a hurry. Jiang Xu, under Gu Li's guidance, washed up and got ready exceptionally quickly. When the two of them stood at the door, Gu Li glanced at her phone and said, "We're really something. We're out the door in 10 minutes. That's incredibly efficient."

Jiang Xu also looked at Gu Li's phone, "You're too good."

Gu Li tilted her head and smiled with a hint of smugness, "Keep it down, keep it down."

Jiang Xu smiled and asked, "So where are we going? Now that we're out, can you tell us?"

Gu Li: "You'll find out when the time comes."

When the two stood together in front of the familiar amusement park, Jiang Xu indeed knew, and he was genuinely surprised. "Why did you suddenly decide to come to the amusement park? Did you invite Lü Chao and the others?"

Gu Li shook his head decisively. "I have to emphasize this," he looked straight at Jiang Xu. "This is a date. If we invite a bunch of people, is it still a date? It's just a picnic."

Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li's serious expression and nodded. "Yes, shall we begin?"

Gu Li: "Let's go."

The amusement park was quite lively on Saturday. When they last came, it had just opened, but now it has been officially operating for some time and the number of visitors is considerable.

Before playing any of the rides, you have to queue up. After getting off one of the rides, the two looked at each other and Jiang Xu spoke first, "There's a problem, I think I'm hungry."

Previously, their emotions had kept them from eating, but now that they were more relaxed, their bodies were responding. Gu Li realized this as well, "Coincidentally, I'm hungry too. We haven't eaten at all."

Jiang Xu pointed to a restaurant not far away, "Let's grab a bite there first, and I'll treat you to a proper meal tonight, how about that?"

Gu Li: "Then I've made a profit, that's great."

After ordering some food, the two sat down. Jiang Xu tapped the table unconsciously, and Gu Li just watched Jiang Xu's hand. There were voices talking and children playing around them, but their table was rather quiet.

"Brother Xu! Brother Li!" The silence was broken in an instant as the boy's clear voice rang out.

When Jiang Xu and Gu Li looked over, they saw a big smiling face. Jiang Chen looked at the two of them with surprise and delight, "You guys came to play too."

"Also?" Gu Li asked in surprise, then observed that there was a very familiar young man standing next to Jiang Chen. The young man had a calm expression and nodded to the person when he saw Gu Li looking at him.

Gu Li recognized the person and nodded, "What a coincidence, and thank you too."

Zhao Yao spoke in a calm voice, "No need to thank me, it was just a favor, and it was a mutually beneficial thing."

Jiang Chen glanced at Gu Li and Zhao Yao's conversation, then turned to Jiang Xu and said, "They seem to have something on their minds, what do you think, brother?"

Jiang Xu frowned slightly. "Indeed, but putting those two aside, what's going on with you two?" He sensed something was off.

Jiang Chen, "Huh? Us?" He didn't expect the topic to come up like this, but after thinking for a moment, he still spoke up, "I found Zhao Yao to be a more and more interesting person, so I came to hang out with him a few times, and it got more and more interesting each time. This time, I just happened to run into you guys."

Jiang Xu immediately grasped the key point: "Interesting? Several more times?"

Jiang Chen was confused. "Yeah, what's wrong, bro?"

Jiang Xu smiled and shook his head. "It's nothing. I'm just happy that you two have such a good relationship." He wanted his younger brother to figure things out himself; it would be pointless to tell him directly. But he planned to tell Gu Li, thinking that the guy would definitely smile like a fox and offer some small opinions.

Jiang Chen had a feeling that something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He smiled and nodded, "Thank you, brother."

Gu Li and Zhao Yao finished their conversation and looked at Jiang Chen with a comforting smile, "No need to thank me, little brother."

Jiang Xu, "Do you know what to thank?"

Gu Li: "I don't know, but thanking you is the same as thanking me, it's the same thing."

Jiang Chen asked, bewildered, "Huh? Why?"

Gu Li said, "Little brother, guess." He raised an eyebrow slightly at the person.

Jiang Chen thought about it seriously, "I know!" He looked like a good student who had just gotten an answer, "It must be because you two have a good relationship. I'm happy for you two, bro."

Jiang Xu was taken aback when he heard this. It really came back to him right away. But looking at his younger brother's sincere smile, Jiang Xu could only sigh inwardly and then said, "Well, thank you too."

Jiang Chen waved his hand magnanimously and said, "You're welcome, Zhao Yao." He then called out to the young man beside him, "What were you and Brother Li talking about?"

Zhao Yao nodded slightly to Jiang Chen, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Let's talk about things from before. Gu Li even said we should hang out together sometime."

Gu Li, “?” When did he say that? “Yes, right, is my younger brother coming too?”

Jiang Chen: "Great, of course it's great, it'll be more lively with more people."

Jiang Xu: "It's really lively, it's suddenly become exceptionally lively."

Gu Li and Jiang Xu looked at each other. Gu Li quickly squeezed Jiang Xu's hand under the table. "Still the same." Although there were indeed a few more people shining.
