Chapter 82 Caring for Classmates

Liu Xian ran over, panting, and took a few moments to catch his breath. "What were you talking to him about?" he asked Hu Bingbing, then looked at Jiang Xu. "How can you even bully girls!"

Jiang Xu was too lazy to speak, so he gave the other person a calm and indifferent look.

Hu Bingbing felt devastated and listless. She took a step back and stood behind Jiang Xu, covering her face and feeling that the world had gone mad.

Seeing that Jiang Xu was ignoring him and Hu Bingbing looked dejected, Liu Xian immediately went to Hu Bingbing's side. "Bingbing, don't be sad. It's just that you didn't pass. I didn't pass either. We'll keep trying. I'll be there for you. Don't worry!"

Hu Bingbing turned to Liu Xian and said, "What does it have to do with me that you didn't pass? I passed, so who said I didn't?"

Liu Xian was taken aback. "Then Bingbing, why do you seem to be in a bad mood? Did Jiang Xu say something? You don't need to take it to heart."

Hu Bingbing didn't want to talk; she just wanted to be quiet. "I didn't take it to heart. I'm just tired. Can we be quiet for a while?" How could she not take it to heart? Her heart was filled with Jiang Xu's words, playing over and over again. Her heart was about to cry.

Liu Xian: "Okay, then you can take it easy for now."

Jiang Xu thought, "Finally, some peace and quiet."

As a result, after he finished talking with Hu Bingbing, he only got a moment of peace before Liu Xian came up to him again.

Liu Xian felt something was wrong. Before he came, he thought Hu Bingbing and Jiang Xu were arguing, but now Hu Bingbing was clearly upset, while Jiang Xu acted as if nothing had happened. He felt this was not right and he had to find out what was going on and help his goddess.

Liu Xian stood next to Jiang Xu and said in a low voice, "Jiang Xu, what exactly did you say to Bingbing? How can you be so shameless as to bully a girl?"

Jiang Xu pretended not to hear; he couldn't possibly shut up all the flies in the world.

Seeing that Jiang Xu was ignoring him, Liu Xian raised his voice a bit, "Hey, I'm talking to you!"

Jiang Xu kept his eyes fixed ahead, his young figure upright and clear as bamboo.

Liu Xian felt that Hu Bingbing must be watching, and Jiang Xu's behavior made him feel awkward. He reached out to push him, "Jiang Xu!"

Before Liu Xian's hand even touched Jiang Xu, Jiang Xu turned to look at him, his gaze deep and cold.

Liu Xian's outstretched hand suddenly stopped, and that look in his eyes immediately reminded him of the situation in the dormitory.

The fading memory suddenly surged back into his mind, and his hand trembled. "You, what do you want to do?"

Jiang Xu looked coldly at Liu Xian, "What do you want to do? Want to fight?"

Liu Xian abruptly withdrew his hand and took a step back. Hu Bingbing happened to take a step forward at that moment, and the two bumped into each other.

Hu Bingbing's dazed state was interrupted, and a stinging pain on her face made her already unhappy mood even worse. She looked at the person who bumped into her and said, "Liu Xian, why are you backing away if you're not alright?"

Seeing Hu Bingbing rubbing her face, Liu Xian panicked a little. "I'm sorry, Bingbing, are you alright?"

Hu Bingbing waved her hand, "Those who didn't pass don't need to queue up. You can go back now."

Liu Xian said, "Bingbing, I'll wait for you to go back together. I'm worried about you being alone as a girl." As he spoke, he glanced at Jiang Xu, clearly regarding Jiang Xu as a potential rival.

Hu Bingbing asked, "Okay, really, really, will it be better to be quiet?" Her voice was very tired.

Liu Xian nodded, standing beside Hu Bingbing with concern, occasionally glaring at Jiang Xu's back.

When they were almost at the recording entrance, they went in in groups of five to record. Jiang Xu and Hu Bingbing were able to be assigned together.

In front of the five people were two unfamiliar men and women, and behind them were the three of them.

The person entering the scores was an acquaintance, the old man who had taken the mock exam that day. He took Jiang Xu's ID card, looked at it, and then looked at Jiang Xu again. "It's you. You're really good. I was sure you'd pass."

Jiang Xu nodded and smiled, "Thank you."

He then took Hu Bingbing's ID card and looked at Liu Xian, "Young man, hand me your ID card."

Liu Xian: "I didn't pass; I came here to accompany someone."

The old man looked at Liu Xian again and said, "Oh, you look familiar too."

Liu Xian: "You were the safety officer during my mock test. I passed the mock test, but I failed because there was a problem with the test car."

The old man glanced at Liu Xian twice, then at Hu Bingbing. "I said you look familiar. I just saw you in the same car as this young lady. How come she passed but you didn't? Why was there a problem with your car when you were driving?"

Liu Xian, "This..."

The old man sighed, "Don't say anything more. If you didn't pass, just prepare for the next time instead of blaming the car. Young people, tsk tsk tsk," he glanced at Liu Xian again, "just so impetuous."

Liu Xian's face turned red, but he really didn't know what to say, so he could only say, "I understand."

The old man nodded and handed the entered ID cards back to Jiang Xu and Hu Bingbing, saying, "Take these."

Jiang Xu took his ID card and walked straight out. He took big steps, but he could vaguely hear conversations behind him.

Liu Xian: "Bingbing, it's true that the car had some problems when I was driving it, otherwise I definitely would have passed."

Hu Bingbing: "Mm."

Liu Xian said, "I'll definitely pass next time. I'll definitely practice for the driving test with you."

Hu Bingbing replied, "Hmm." His words reminded her that she still had her driving instructor for the third stage of the driving test and the opportunity to practice driving with Jiang Xu.

Liu Xian: "Bingbing, you're amazing! You passed on your first try."

Hu Bingbing replied, "It's alright." After saying that, she glanced in Jiang Xu's direction. She thought boys would prefer girls who were pure and playful, but it seemed that Jiang Xu wasn't. So next time she would definitely dress more elegantly. She refused to believe that she couldn't win him over.

Hu Bingbing immediately realized she couldn't be so discouraged. He must not like her plain appearance, which was why he was cold towards her. She still needed to try harder.

"Jiang Xu." She quickened her pace to close the distance, "I just saw that you got a perfect score on your driving test, that's amazing. You must be great on your driving test too. Can we choose an instructor together, and then you can teach me?"

Jiang Xu walked even faster, saying, "I can't, I have something to do, I'm leaving now."

Hu Bingbing could hardly keep up with Jiang Xu's pace to begin with, and Jiang Xu seemed to be in a hurry, walking faster and faster, so Hu Bingbing had no choice but to slow down.

Liu Xian and Hu Bingbing had been keeping the same speed, but when he saw Hu Bingbing slow down, he slowed down as well. "Bingbing, Jiang Xu has a bad temper, why do you always want to be with him?"

Hu Bingbing lowered her head. "I just wanted to show more concern for my classmates," she said, her voice tinged with disappointment. "Was that wrong of me? Jiang Xu seems to dislike me too. Do you also think what I did was wrong?"

Liu Xian exclaimed, "How could that be!" He hurriedly tried to distance himself, "That's because he doesn't understand how good you are. I think you're wonderful, really wonderful."

Hu Bingbing looked up with a slight smile. "Really? Thank you so much." Her tone was strained, but she added, "Good luck to you too. You must pass next time!"

As Jiang Xu walked quickly, his phone rang. He opened it and saw it was a message from Gu Li.

Gu Li: I've arrived. I'm right here at the main entrance.
