Roller coasters are a classic screaming spot in amusement parks. Six people stand in a row, looking up at the roller coaster rushing by, and the screams of the boys and girls echo through the sky.
Lu Chao felt a bit of toothache. "This is the first thing we've eaten. It's not very friendly to us who just had breakfast."
Xu Lang: "You're scared already? That won't do."
Gu Li chimed in, "A real man faces his fears head-on." He then looked at Jiang Xu, his voice lowering several octaves, "Can you accept that?"
Jiang Xu nodded, "This kind is fine."
Lü Chao said, "I am not afraid; I am afraid that you will be afraid."
Ji Hai: "This worry is completely unnecessary. It's not that you're afraid, is it?"
Xie Tao: "I think it's highly likely."
Lu Chao said, "Alright, since you're all so brave, let's pick something exciting to do next. Whoever admits defeat first is no good. I want to see who's being stubborn."
Gu Li: "Friends, the most stubborn one is starting to be stubborn. Let's satisfy him."
Six people lined up, and when they were almost there, Jiang Xu spoke up, "If you want a thrill, the back of the roller coaster is more exciting than the front, so everyone sit in the back?"
Xu Lang: "I think it's a good idea. We'll go take another look at the flash photography later, and take a picture of whoever is the most scared."
Gu Li said, "Lu Chao is in trouble. His biggest gain today is a bunch of horrifying photos."
Lu Chao said, "Honestly, you two should take a break. Who knows who will end up in the end?"
Jiang Xu smiled and said, "Welcome to strive for first place."
Gu Li: "It's not like I can't give you this first place."
The roller coaster returned amidst screams and laughter. Everyone on board had their hair disheveled. Lü Chao tossed his blond hair and said, "My perfect look is about to be gloriously sacrificed." He was the first to walk towards his seat.
Gu Li followed behind him, saying, "My even more perfect look than yours is about to be completely ruined."
Behind Gu Li was Jiang Xu. "Truly perfect people are always low-key, like me."
Xu Lang tilted his head and said to Xie Tao and Ji Hai, "Let the three of them line up. We are the truly low-key ones."
Xie Tao: "Yes, keep a low profile."
Ji Hai: "Indeed, low-key people are surrounded by low-key people."
The six people sat in the last two rows. With just a little time left before the start, Gu Li began, "I have a story to tell."
Lü Chao: "Keep it to yourself, don't say it."
Gu Li: "It's very short, just two sentences."
Lu Chao sighed, "Alright, alright, you tell me, you tell me."
Jiang Xu said, "Tell us the story behind those two sentences."
Gu Li's voice suddenly changed, and the old man's voice that had scared Xu Lang out of bed came out again. He lowered his voice and said, "When the roller coaster reaches the top of a random hill, Death will tear through space and time and take away one person, but only half of them will be taken away." The roller coaster began to move slowly. "Question: what half of them?"
The roller coaster started moving again, and Xu Lang's shouts echoed in the wind, "What the hell is going on?!"
When Gu Li reached the first peak of the roller coaster, she turned and smiled at Jiang Xu, and then shouted excitedly as she plunged down.
Roller coasters are really exciting, a mix of tension and thrill with occasional feelings of weightlessness, a balance of relaxation and tension, with the wind whistling in your ears.
My heart was pounding incredibly fast. The first emotion that suddenly arose when I looked at the person next to me was, "My heart is fluttering."
When Jiang Xu reached the top of another hill, he looked at Gu Li and felt his already rapid heartbeat accelerate even faster, as if it were about to burst out of his chest.
He watched his red hair fly wildly, watched his triumphant smile, and watched him look into his clear pupils.
Gu Li tilted her head as if sensing something at the summit. They looked at each other at the top and almost embraced.
He laughed even harder, his vision filled with pure, deep black, and he saw that he was laughing too.
The next moment, the feeling of weightlessness amplified the senses, and emotions surged in the chest.
"Ah!" The shout released all the emotions; the beating heart at that moment said it all.
The sounds of wind and shouts seemed to still linger in their ears, but the roller coaster had finally stopped. As the group unbuckled their seatbelts, Lü Chao turned to look at Gu Li while doing so, saying, "You're such a jerk, asking questions like that. My brain, which should be completely blank, keeps popping up with your questions."
Gu Li said, "A good teacher tells you that true success is being remembered by students."
Xu Lang's low voice rang out from behind, "What kind of teacher speaks like that, and then doesn't even make things clear in the end!"
Xie Tao: "So what exactly is the other half?"
Ji Hai: "Same question."
Gu Li turned to the side and thought for a moment before speaking, "It might be half of the phone," then he added in a hoarse, aged voice, "It might also be the half you're thinking of, kids."
Jiang Xu looked at the back of Gu Li's head and gently patted the red mark. Gu Li turned to look at him, her eyes filled with doubt. "You're quite the fool, kid."
Gu Li's voice returned to normal, "I thought I'd forgotten you. You reminded me, and I was just about to repeat it to you again." He then stood up, "Come on, let the next lucky tourists take their seats."
The group got up and walked out, with Xu Lang following behind Gu Li. "I didn't expect you to become even more pretentious after just a few days, Gu Li."
Gu Li: "Look at your unpleasant language. I call it even cooler, okay?"
Lu Chao: "That's so cool, so cool that I want to send you to the sky so everyone can see for themselves."
Gu Li sighed, "Chao, I'm not a wishing tree. Don't tell me your wishes, even if it's that you want to go to heaven, I can only refuse."
Jiang Xu said, “How could I refuse? Don’t worry, Chao, I’ll rent you a hot air balloon. I guarantee you’ll be able to impress everyone. The only requirement,” he smiled innocently, “is that you have the money.”
Lu Chao looked at the others and said, "Look, all crows under the sky are indeed black."
After they completely emerged from the roller coaster area, Xu Lang thought for a moment, "Next, let's go to..."
"Brother!" The clear, youthful voice easily attracted attention.
Everyone looked in that direction. The boy ran towards them and then stopped right in front of them.
Jiang Xu said, "Slow down, why are you in such a hurry?"
Gu Li: "Yes, don't rush. Didn't you say you'd come this afternoon? Is there something urgent?"
Lu Chao glanced at the young man as he dredged up memories from his mind, "Oh! This is the younger brother who was with us this afternoon, right?"
Jiang Chen laughed heartily, "That's right, hello brothers." He then bowed slightly.
Xu Lang said, "Hey, hello little brother, don't be so polite. We'll get to know each other quickly. Being so polite will make you easy to get bullied."
Jiang Chen looked at Xu Lang with clear eyes, "Huh?"
Ji Hai smiled and said in a very friendly manner, "He was saying that you are going to become our lucky charm."
Xie Tao nodded. "That's right."
Jiang Chen nodded, "Oh, okay," he said with a smile, exuding youthful energy, "I'm Jiang Chen. I rushed over because I really wanted to play with everyone. I hope I didn't bother you guys."
Lu Chao waved his hand, "Welcome, welcome! The seven Dragon Balls are all gathered. Let's continue our voyage." He struck a captain's pose.
