Chapter 116 Wen Jiaojiao is afraid of being slept with, so she eats pig intestines to ruin the atmosphere.

Most of the people staying at the hotel were working couples who didn't share a dormitory and came to book rooms. The owner didn't say much about it.

The old, dilapidated door creaked open, and a strong smell of smoke and a faint musty odor wafted out.

Wen Jiaojiao wrinkled her nose slightly:

I feel so sorry for this big boss. But tonight, we're all alone in a room, and he's interested in me. I don't have my period to protect me, so it wouldn't be right not to sleep with him.

Wen Zhaoye noticed her micro-expressions and tentatively asked, "Are you sure you want to stay here?"

Wen Jiaojiao regained her senses and nodded listlessly:

"Um."

A long line had formed in the shower room diagonally opposite, all drawn to the handsome young couple.

Wen Zhaoye led her into the house by the hand:

"Then I'll go and queue up for you."

"OK."

Wen Jiaojiao sat on the iron-framed bed, the bed frame creaking. Her mind was filled with images of Wen Zhaoye going to her, and she couldn't help but worry:

I already used my period as an excuse last time, what am I going to do tonight? Otherwise, I'll just reveal it myself, and if I can't refuse and we end up sleeping together, at least I won't be caught.

Just then, a vendor's voice came from downstairs: "Selling spicy boiled pig intestines!"

The room was old and poorly soundproofed, so Wen Jiaojiao could hear everything clearly. Her eyes suddenly lit up as she said:

"Just eat something to ruin the atmosphere, so he can't bring himself to eat it, right?"

Having made up her mind, she stood up without hesitation, took out her lunchbox, and walked out the door, saying:

"Brother, I'm going downstairs to buy some food; I'm a little hungry."

Wen Zhaoye stepped away from the middle of the group, afraid that she might suddenly lose her mind and leave again. He walked up to her, took her hand, and said:

"Let's go together."

Wen Jiaojiao knew what he was thinking, and she sighed and said:

"You know I'm not quite right in the head, why do you still insist on..."

She didn't dare say the rest of her words, because she remembered that Wen Zhaoye had said she couldn't force him to dislike her.

Wen Zhaoye led her down the stairs:

"Illnesses can be treated. If they can't be cured, I'll take you with me wherever I go, so you won't get lost."

You are the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. No matter what problems we encounter in the future, I will not back down.

His voice was frank and sincere, drifting gently through the empty stairwell like the prayers and wishes of a devout believer, seeping into Wen Jiaojiao's ears.

Her gaze fell on his hand, which he was holding, with a complicated expression, but she remained silent.

The old man pushing the cart saw the two people stop in front of him, so he opened the pot lid, and steaming hot air wafted out, revealing whole pig intestines soaking in the reddish soup.

Wen Jiaojiao turned her head and said, "Brother, do you want to eat? If you do, I'll buy more." Let's just have pig intestines tonight and forget about sleeping.

Wen Zhaoye recalled the doctor's instructions:

"I can't eat spicy food during this period."

Wen Jiaojiao opened her lunchbox, ordered three snacks, paid, and then walked upstairs feeling relieved.

"What kind of illness do you have? You can't drink alcohol or eat spicy food, but how come you can still smoke every day? Your room smells terrible."

The doctor had naturally advised him not to smoke, but Wen Zhaoye had been feeling uneasy these past few days since he couldn't find Wen Jiaojiao, and he always needed nicotine to suppress his inner turmoil.

He was afraid she would feel guilty, so he calmly shook his head and said, "It's just that my stomach is a little upset, so I can't eat anything spicy."

After taking a shower, Wen Jiaojiao sat on a stool. Since it was difficult to pick up food with chopsticks, she grabbed a pig intestine with one hand and ate it.

The pig intestines were extremely elastic; when they were stretched out and then retracted, the broth splattered all over her mouth, and she ate them without any regard for her image.

I refuse to believe that after I've created this atmosphere, you could still bring yourself to do it.

Wen Zhaoye lay on the bed, his eyes gazing at her with a slight smile:

Is it really that delicious?

"It tastes good, but it's a bit tough on the teeth, and my cheeks are sore from chewing."

Wen Jiaojiao spoke perfunctorily, then dramatically opened her blood-red mouth and took a bite, the broth from the pig intestines splashing onto her face once again.

Wen Zhaoye stood up, took out some tissues from his suitcase, sat down next to her, and wiped her face, saying:

"Then we can stew it and eat it when we get back."

The soup on her face was thick and dry, and bits of toilet paper stuck to her face.

Wen Zhaoye frowned and glanced at her face. Undeterred, he wiped it again, but the more paper scraps stuck to her face, the more they remained.

Wen Jiaojiao raised her arm to push his hand away and said:

"Why bother? I'll finish the last one, then go wash up and go to bed. It's just that the taste is a bit strong; I doubt the smell will leave a lingering taste in my mouth for at least two days."

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Without thinking much, Wen Zhaoye opened the door and saw a group of people in uniforms standing there. He said in surprise:

"What's wrong?"

The leading man coldly sneered:

"Combating pornography and illegal publications."

As soon as he finished speaking, Wen Jiaojiao put down the pig intestines she was holding and walked to the door, saying:

"We didn't do anything."

Everyone turned to look at her upon hearing the sound, and were immediately speechless upon seeing her face covered in red soup and scraps of paper.

One of them was the first to react and speak up:

"Captain, there's no need to investigate this room. It's obviously a legitimate relationship."

"Yes, and you wouldn't do something so unladylike in front of your husband unless you've been married for several years."

The group hurriedly turned and went to the next room.

I'd love for him to leave me; what's the point of trying to maintain a good image?

Wen Jiaojiao scoffed, not taking it seriously, and went to the bathroom to wash her face after finishing the pig intestines.

Wen Zhaoye lay on the bed for a long time, glancing at his lower body with annoyance:

I'm afraid my sweetheart will be disappointed tonight.

Wen Jiaojiao returned to the room and lay stiffly beside him. Ignoring the hot weather, the two of them silently pulled the blanket up to their chests at the same time.

A moment later, Wen Jiaojiao suddenly sat up, startling Wen Zhaoye, who quickly turned away. He swallowed hard, trembling.

"What...what do you want to do?"

Wen Jiaojiao frowned at his reaction, but without thinking much of it, she got out of bed and said:

"Drink some water, the pig intestines are a bit salty."

Wen Zhaoye's panicked heart gradually calmed down, and he breathed a sigh of relief as Wen Jiaojiao lay back down on the bed.

He held her in his arms, his hot breath brushing against her ear, his voice deep and magnetic:

"I'm a little inconvenient tonight, please bear with it, I'll just hold you like this while we sleep."

Wen Jiaojiao felt ashamed and gritted her teeth, saying irritably:

"I didn't hold back, so don't overthink things."

"Okay, I'm holding back." Wen Zhaoye's breath was heavy, his lips brushing against her delicate neck, moving to her soft cheeks and glossy lips.

Wen Jiaojiao: "..." I've wasted two pounds of pig intestines.
