Qi Ying's face stung with pain. She stood up and shoved Li Zhu, saying:
"What are you doing? Do you know who I am?"
"All I know is that your surname isn't Jiang."
Li Zhu was pushed so hard that his back hit the door. Wen Jiaojiao quickly stepped forward and helped push Qi Ying away.
As the group argued and bumped into each other, the signboard hanging above their heads swayed precariously.
Suddenly, an anxious shout came from the crowd:
"Get out of the way, that sign is going to fall over."
The three of them looked up at the same time and saw that the sign had just fallen down, and Wen Jiaojiao was right under the sign. Her pupils trembled slightly in shock.
Suddenly, a broad, tall figure embraced her from behind, and then a large hand covered her eyes.
Wen Zhaoye bent down and pulled her into his arms. With a "bang," the light board hit his back, reopening his previous wound and staining his white shirt red.
The signboard rolled to the ground, startling onlookers. Li Zhu rushed forward and said anxiously:
"Young Master, are you alright?"
Wen Zhaoye's face was deathly pale. He covered the girl's eyes with his large hand, not daring to make a sound, and simply shook his head slightly.
After recovering from the shock, Wen Jiaojiao clung to Wen Zhaoye's large hand, her voice trembling slightly as she said:
Who exactly are you?
Wen Zhaoye turned his gaze to her side, his eyes softly fixed on her, but he did not let go of her.
Li Zhu stepped forward and covered her eyes. As she struggled, he calmly said:
"Miss, you will know when the time comes."
Wen Jiaojiao strained to push him away, but Li Zhu held the back of her head with one hand and covered her eyes with the other.
Unable to push her away, she could only give up and said, "What on earth are you guys doing? It's always the same."
Wen Zhaoye turned and left, and at the same time, many people with cameras took pictures.
