Li Zhu still didn't let go, and warned the group of people taking pictures:
"Anyone who took photos of this process must delete them, otherwise they are challenging Chiang's Ministry of Justice."
Everyone understood that this was someone they couldn't afford to offend, and immediately began deleting the photos. Afterwards, Wen Jiaojiao was released, and she questioned:
Who exactly is that person?
Li Zhu replied neither humbly nor arrogantly:
"As I said before, unless he voluntarily appears before you, I have nothing to say."
Wen Jiaojiao was heartbroken and thought:
"Well, I should thank him, right? Such a big sign fell down, shouldn't I take him to the hospital and pay for his medical expenses?"
"I'll take it over." Li Zhu finished speaking and left, rushing back upstairs. Looking at Wen Zhaoye's reddened shoulder, he said worriedly:
"Young master, I'll take you to the hospital now."
Wen Zhaoye arrived at the hospital, and after his wound was treated, he was lying in bed when he saw Jiang Peitian walking over.
He was afraid that he would blame Wen Jiaojiao again, so he spoke first:
"This has nothing to do with Jiaojiao, and there's nothing to do with her now."
Jiang Peitian sat next to him, his voice slightly helpless as he said:
"Li Zhu has already told me, what's so good about that girl?"
Without saying a word, she attacked Qi Ying, and you even want Li Zhu to go down and help her.
Wen Zhaoye: "I know her personality. She won't take action unless the other party offends her, so it must be that person's fault."
Jiang Peitian raised his eyebrows slightly and said:
"Who said that? She's a rising star in Hong Kong now. Maybe she only did it because of her status."
No, it won't.
Wen Zhaoye felt that back in the county town, Wen Jiaojiao, despite being treated sarcastically by the employees because of her status as the owner of Chenxi Garment Factory, never used her position to get fired.
Now that we're in a big city, and we're facing Qi Meijing's niece, it's even less likely that...
Jiang Peitian sighed and said:
"You're just spoiling her. Sooner or later, she'll drag you down with her."
Wen Zhaoye looked somewhat reluctant and said:
"You can't say that about my dear sister."
Jiang Peitian was speechless for a moment. Only after calling the doctor to check him over again and confirming that there was no major problem did he feel relieved.
Qi Ying returned to the Jiang residence, still puzzled by Li Zhu's use of the word "young master." She approached Qi Meijing and complained:
"Auntie, that Wen Jiaojiao actually hit me today."
Looking at the bruises on her niece's face, Qi Meijing said worriedly:
"What happened? Why is your face so red?"
After she finished speaking, Qi Ying cried and said, "I only said one thing to that woman, and she immediately attacked me."
The atmosphere at home has recently become less gloomy thanks to Wen Jiaojiao, and Qi Meijing is quite satisfied with her. She chimed in:
"I know Jiaojiao's personality; she's a very nice person and would never cause trouble for no reason. So what did you say that made her so angry?"
Qi Ying stammered:
"She just said... she only said that she was relying on her uncle."
Qi Meijing wasn't unaware of her personality, and she suddenly said with a cold face:
Explain clearly.
"She said I was my father's kept woman, and that I was only brought into the house because I wanted to be intimate with him right under your noses."
A voice came from the doorway, startling Qi Meijing and Jiang Peitian, who had just gotten out of the car.
Qi Ying timidly raised her eyes to look at Jiang Peitian, and seeing his face was darker than ever before, she swallowed hard and said:
"I just... I just politely expressed my doubts, I wasn't... I wasn't as direct as she said."
She had been observing Jiang Peitian's attitude towards Wen Jiaojiao recently, and with a cold face, she spoke first:
"Qi Ying, you didn't lose out by getting beaten up this time."
Jiang Peitian felt a chill run down his spine, as if he had swallowed a fly. He might be a womanizer, but he wasn't perverted; he would never be interested in the women his son had slept with.
He disliked Qi Ying and Wen Jiaojiao to an equal degree, and said with a stern face:
"From now on, stay out of my family's business, or don't blame me for personally teaching you a lesson."
Qi Ying trembled with fear, lowered her head in alarm, and nodded in agreement.
Just as Wen Jiaojiao breathed a sigh of relief, Jiang Peitian's cold warning voice suddenly came from behind her:
"And you, if you cause trouble outside again, don't blame me for not showing any mercy."
Wen Jiaojiao turned around and saw Jiang Peitian glance at her with deep eyes before sitting down at the dining table.
Her pent-up emotions from the past few days erupted instantly:
"You clearly hate me, so why did you acknowledge me? And who were those people from earlier today? What are your motives?"
Jiang Peitian's eyes were cold as he sat in the main seat like a person in power, warning:
"In my home, I don't allow anyone to make a scene and affect my mood, or they will have to bear the consequences."
Wen Jiaojiao was going crazy. She felt like a mouse waiting to be slaughtered, constantly monitored and controlled, with even her eyes covered by a black cloth, unable to touch or see anything.
Her anger flared up instantly, and she stepped forward, saying, "Damn it, you acknowledged me but didn't treat me well. You won't let me leave when I want to. If I can't live well, then neither of us can live well."
Jiang Peitian didn't pay her any attention at all; he had just picked up his chopsticks to eat.
Suddenly, with a "crash," the tablecloth was overturned, and porcelain plates and bowls scattered on the ground, making a shattering sound.
The people in the hall were all taken aback. Qi Meijing said in a worried tone:
"Jiaojiao, what's wrong?"
Since coming into this world, Wen Jiaojiao has felt that even though she is constantly scolded in Daxi Village, her life is still better than what she has now.
Her eyes were slightly red, her lips were tightly pursed, and she stared stubbornly at Jiang Peitian, saying, "From now on, either let me leave, or don't blame me for ruining your reputation."
