The black shadow let out a sharp scream inside the Rat King's body. Xiaodou's spatial stomach suddenly churned, and he uncontrollably vomited out half a pool of clear water - that was the rainwater stored in the 1960s chapter of Volume 3, and the wild flower petals given by the village beauty at that time were still floating on the water.
"Squeak!" The cub suddenly pointed at the water surface, "Mom, look! There are stars in the water!"

The starlight embryo suddenly emitted a soft light, and the tentacle shadow roared in pain. It separated from the Rat King's body, turned into a ball of black mist, and drilled into the cracks of the ruins.
"Mommy is amazing!" The cub jumped into Xiaodou's arms. The AI bracelet suddenly emitted a green light and projected a holographic image:
"Nannan, Mommy is going to a faraway place to find a medicine that can save you. If you see a little mouse that can stock up, follow it... Remember, your tears are the key to unlocking the interstellar battleship."
The woman in the image held up a ring with the totem of the Mingshu Sword Sect engraved on the inside. Behind her stood a man wearing glasses - it was Lin Shen who appeared in the school idol mobile phone wallpaper in Volume 7 of the General Outline.
"So your mother is an interstellar traveler..." Xiaodou gently licked the cub's tears, and the salty tears turned into rainbow frosting on the tip of his tongue. "Don't worry, we will find her."
The Rat King awoke from his cocoon of light, his bandages scattered across the floor, revealing a star-shaped scar on his ear—a mark of the starlight embryo's repair when the shadow invaded. He stared at his cub's AI bracelet and suddenly pulled a 1960s food coupon from his tooth necklace. "This is for you! My mother said it's a 'token from the Rat Fairy.'"
Xiaodou took the food coupon and found the words written on the back in pencil: "To Dr. Lin Shen, please do not worry." The handwriting was identical to the flyer from the veterinary clinic in the modern story. The iron box in the subspace vibrated again, and this time, instead of a note, a tentacle cookie from the Cthulhu story fell out. Written on the cookie in chocolate was the words: "Thank you for saving the cat. Coordinates: 12-07. Come quickly!"
In the evening, the survivors of the base gathered around a campfire, sharing a bowl of instant noodle soup that Xiaodou had grown in his space. The potato spirits held up sunflower lanterns, and the young ones used the Rat King's tail as a string, making a jingling, clanging sound.
"Actually, my name is Ah Shen." The Rat King suddenly leaned closer to Xiaodou. The Coke can throne glowed faintly in the moonlight. "Before I turned into a zombie, I seemed to be a veterinarian..."
Xiaodou's claws tightened suddenly, and the sword spirit fragments in the space resonated with the food coupons. The word "Nannan" on the fragments actually lit up the same red light as the cub's bracelet.
