Chapter 49

Chapter 49

drunk

The pale golden liquid bubbled outwards in concentric circles, creating ripples of gold in the flickering candlelight.

Jiang Fengyi, with her eyes tightly closed, heard the sound of flowing water. She tried to open her eyes to check, but her lips were quickly pressed against the cold glass.

Her lips touched the moisture, and she instinctively opened them, continuing to search for water.

Xu tilted his wine glass, and a cool, thin stream of liquid seeped into his lips, prying open his tightly closed teeth and embracing his constantly swirling tongue.

At first, Xu Que's movements were relatively restrained, and the angle of the cup's tilt was not too large. However, Jiang Fengyi repeatedly bit the rim of the cup and tilted her head back, sipping the wine in small sips. She felt that Xu Que was feeding her too slowly, which was far from enough to quell the burning sensation in her body.

As the fingers holding the slender stem of the glass lifted slightly upwards, the trickle of wine suddenly increased, forcing Jiang Fengyi to swallow violently. Unable to swallow in time, a few drops of clear wine spilled from the corner of her mouth and meandered down her long neck.

The liquid, with its own sweet floral and fruity scent, soaked the front of the person's pajamas, immediately leaving a dark stain that continued to spread outwards.

Xu wanted to wipe the dampness from the other person's collar, but when she reached up, the dampness from the collarbone on the other person's neck made her hand sticky.

She stared at the source of the overflow, her smile carrying a deeper meaning.

The act of pouring wine continued, the wine glass tilting at an even greater angle. The wine relieved the dryness in Jiang Fengyi's throat, but it ignited a flame in her heart.

The roaring fire gave her skin a faint blush, and her cheeks were flushed.

Jiang Fengyi's stomach was full of sloshing white wine, and she couldn't drink anymore. The unswallowed wine was stuck in her throat, lingering between her lips and teeth.

She pushed Xu Que away, feeling dizzy, and her vision began to blur.

With a hint of intoxication in her eyes, she looked at Xu Que with shimmering tears in her eyes, her gaze filled with a gentle, lingering light. It was just a simple eye contact, yet it felt as if it had tickled Xu Que's heart, sending a shiver of pleasure through him.

Xu coaxed softly, "Your clothes are wet, shall I help you dry them?"

Jiang Fengyi also found the sticky feeling on her body uncomfortable, and nodded in agreement after hearing this.

With her fingertips, she parted the hem of his shirt, allowing the cold air in the room to rush in. The people below couldn't help but shiver and shrink back. Xu, however, had her other hand gripping the back of the chair, her pale fingertips exerting force.

"squeak--"

The chair legs scraped against the marble floor, making a jarring noise.

Xu Que, standing in front of the table, pulled out a dining chair, making Jiang Fengyi face him directly. He placed his hands on the chair, placed them on Jiang Fengyi's back, and slowly moved them down to firmly embrace her lower back.

A half-drunk person can hardly ignore the burning heat around her waist. She opened her hazy eyes, blushed, and looked up at Xu Que.

She simply asked, "Weren't you going to help me dry my clothes?"

Xu Que could no longer hide her inner laughter and chuckled softly. Jiang Fengyi, who was being embraced by Xu Que, could clearly feel the vibration of her chest.

"I'll wipe it for you right away."

Almost as soon as the words were spoken, a warm kiss landed on his lips.

The wine that spilled from the corner of her mouth was slowly rolled into Xu Que's stomach by her tongue. She savored it carefully and found it tasted much better than if it had been poured directly into the glass.

Xu Que's kisses followed the flow of the wine downwards, along the neck to the collarbone, where the skin was most moist in the shallow, winding indentation.

She found a water source here.

The sweet wine was slowly sipped into his mouth. The fruity aroma of the white wine mixed with the fragrance of the epiphyllum on Jiang Fengyi's body, creating a unique flavor that all went into Xu Que's stomach.

She became the most dedicated "cleaner," meticulously cleaning up the wine stains on Jiang Fengyi's chest in her own way.

The scented candles on the table continued to burn, the flames in the center flickering timidly, as if shyly hiding their faces because of the intimate behavior of the two people at the table.

The candlelight cast their shadows onto the wall, the warm light covering the two overlapping dark figures as if draped in a layer of golden gauze.

Under the golden gauze curtain,

Xu stared at Jiang Fengyi's rosy, full lips, like ripe fruit in autumn, hanging on a branch, attracting others to come forward and pick them.

This bystander was naturally Xu Que.

She leaned down, took her full lips into her mouth, and patiently sucked on them.

Juicy cherries burst with juice in your mouth, their bright red flesh emitting an irresistible sweetness. You'll find yourself wanting more after just one bite, and it becomes increasingly addictive.

Jiang Fengyi, her eyes glazed, collapsed into Xu Que's arms. She wasn't completely drunk and unconscious; her body was still responding instinctively.

She heard several words of praise from Xu, which made her work even harder.

Her chaotic mind had ceased thinking, and everything she did was driven by her own desires. The alcohol evaporated in Jiang Fengyi's body, spreading like wildfire and igniting the flames of passion all around.

Xu had unbuttoned a few buttons on her pajamas without her noticing, freeing her soft, white skin, which longed to explore the outside world.

Xu was a great help, not only removing the cloth binding them, but also giving them the same amount of caresses.

......

The wine bottles on the table were empty, and the wicks of the scented candles were gradually extinguished by the melting wax.

The two figures were no longer at the table.

*

The moonlight flowed quietly into the room, illuminating the clothes scattered on the floor.

The temperature in the bedroom is rising.

Jiang Fengyi lay back on the large bed, her reactions slowed down by the alcohol.

Xu, however, had a mischievous thought and held up a finger in front of Jiang Fengyi.

How many is this?

Jiang Fengyi saw double images of everything. She tried hard to make out the fingers in front of her, and after thinking carefully for a while, she confidently answered, "Three!"

Xu was amused and giggled. She ruffled Jiang Fengyi's long hair, which earned her a glare from the other before she reluctantly withdrew her hand.

Jiang Fengyi stared at Xu Que for a long time before finally asking a question.

"Why are there three Xu Que?"

She raised her arms to try and wrap them around his neck, but she couldn't find the right spot. She kept veering to the left or right. In the end, Xu took the initiative to slip into her arms.

Jiang Fengyi was not happy to have caught the person; instead, she shook her head with a serious expression.

"I don't want so many promises, I just want the original promise."

She grabbed Xu Que's shoulders and swayed him back and forth.

"Give her back to me!"

Jiang Fengyi's movements were too large, and the blanket covering her slipped off her body.

Xu pulled the thin blanket beside her to cover the other person's exposed skin.

"She's already by your side," Xu coaxed softly. "If you don't believe me, open your eyes and see."

Seeing that Jiang Fengyi was really drunk, she helped him sit up and lean against the headboard. Fortunately, she had prepared a hangover soup in advance, and after checking the time, it should have cooled down by now.

Xu patiently instructed, "Why don't you sit here and wait for me to come back?"

Jiang Fengyi nodded obediently.

As soon as Xu got up, she swayed and followed him out of bed.

Xu had no choice but to press her back onto the bed.

"Didn't you promise to sit here and wait for me?" Jiang Fengyi was so drunk that she could barely walk, but Xu dared not let her get out of bed.

The person in front of him shook his head again: "But I want to follow you."

Xu patiently explained, "I promise I'll be back soon."

The person reclining on the edge of the bed did not answer, but simply stared at her quietly.

Xu quickly conceded defeat to those light blue eyes.

She opened her arms to Jiang Fengyi: "Come on, I'll carry you to the kitchen."

Jiang Fengyi happily jumped into her arms, becoming like a goldfish with only a seven-second memory, and asked curiously, "What are we going to do in the kitchen?"

Xu steadily supported her legs: "Drink the hangover soup."

"I'm not hungry yet, I don't want soup."

"You won't say that after you drink the hangover soup."

However, Xu would never see Jiang Fengyi's childlike side again, and she felt a little reluctant to part with her. But when she thought about the headache she would have after a hangover, that feeling of reluctance immediately disappeared.

Jiang Fengyi buried her head in Xu Que's neck, inhaling the warm pheromone scent emanating from her.

I really want to take a bite.

The thought flashed through her mind, and she immediately put it into action.

"Hiss~"

Xu covered her neck: "Why did you bite me?"

When Jiang Fengyi was drunk, he answered whatever she asked: "Because you smell so good."

She lazily leaned on Xu Que's shoulder, taking deep breaths one after another, frankly revealing her innermost feelings to him.

"I really like the scent of your pheromones."

"I like you very much too."

Xu went to the kitchen and gently stirred the hangover soup in the pot. If she weren't drunk, Jiang Fengyi was rarely this straightforward. She deliberately slowed down her movements, enjoying the other person's final honesty.

"How much do you like me?" she asked.

"I really like it!"

"I like you so much that my heart can't contain you. I can't help but miss you when I don't see you during the day."

Xu stopped stirring in his hand: "Oh?"

She continued, "But when you're at the company, you're so focused on your work that I don't see you missing me."

"Because I keep them all hidden in my heart."

She proudly declared, "I'm very good at hiding my true emotions." She then began to impart her experience to Xu Que, saying, "In business, you can't easily let the other party see through your true thoughts..."

Xu put down the soup spoon.

He turned his head, found the familiar light pink lips, and kissed them directly.

After the kiss, Xu wiped the corner of his lips.

“Excluding me.”

“You don’t need to hide any emotions from me.”

"I want to see the most authentic you."

"Promise me, okay?"

Jiang Fengyi nodded subconsciously.

"If you promise, you have to keep your word."

Xu picked up the bowl of hangover soup that had been prepared earlier, held it to her lips, and coaxed her softly, "Drink a little."

Jiang Fengyi took a sniff; she didn't like the smell and pushed it away with her hand: "I don't want to drink it."

"If I don't drink it, I'll have a headache when I wake up tomorrow."

Jiang Fengyi tried taking a small sip, then immediately stuck out her tongue and complained with a bitter face, "It doesn't taste good."

Xu took a sniff, and the smell wasn't very good.

Jiang Fengyi, who was in Xu Que's arms, kept her word and showed her most authentic self.

"I don't want to drink it!"

She buried her head in Xu Que's chest, throwing a tantrum like a child.

Xu was both happy that Jiang Fengyi no longer hid her emotions in front of her, and worried that if she really didn't drink, she would definitely have a headache the next day.

After much thought, I found a solution.

"Then I'll feed you!"

She tilted her head back and took a big gulp, then kissed Jiang Fengyi's lips while she was still stunned. Her tongue politely parted her teeth, transferring the liquid in her mouth little by little to her.

Jiang Fengyi was forced to swallow most of a bowl of hangover soup.
