Chapter 14 A Warning to Yan Bugui

Hmm, it shouldn't be too far off.

Passing by the Jia family's gate, Wang Dabao said quietly, "Are you trying to kill off the men in your family by associating with someone like Jia Zhangshi, who is destined to bring misfortune to her husbands?"

A group of women, including Jia Zhangshi and an older woman, were all stunned and stood there.

A few seconds later, the middle-aged woman stood up and said, "You guys are chatting, I just remembered that Lao Yi's clothes haven't been washed yet, I have to go back first."

"I have to go too. My wife wants to eat fried peanuts for lunch, so I need to go back and prepare them."

“I had forgotten about it if you hadn’t mentioned it. I still had chores to do at home, but we lost track of time while we were chatting.”

Less than a minute later, only Jia Zhangshi was left at the entrance of the Jia family's house.

"You damned little beast, you'll get what's coming to you later."

Jia Zhangshi glared at Wang Dabao's back and cursed viciously.

"Mom, what happened?" Qin Huairu wiped her sweat, carrying a laundry basin and leading the child back. "Huh, why has everyone dispersed? It's not even lunchtime yet."

"Wash your clothes properly, and after you're done, go take apart and wash my precious grandson's quilt. Stop meddlesome things all day long," Madam Jia scolded.

Upon hearing this, Qin Huairu's eyes immediately welled up with tears. She felt like a servant in this family.

"All you do is cry, cry, cry."

When Madam Jia saw that Qin Huairu was about to cry, she immediately lost her temper and said, "Hurry up and see if my dear grandson is up yet, and make him some breakfast."

Qin Huairu wiped away her tears and went into the house.

Madam Jia spat on the ground, "If our Dongxu hadn't married you, would you be able to come to the city to live? It's your good fortune to be able to serve us."

at the same time.

Wang Dabao also arrived at the front yard.

Just then, I saw Yan Bugui carrying a small bucket and a fishing rod, about to go out.

"Hey, is Uncle San going fishing at Shichahai?" Wang Dabao looked at Yan Bugui's gear, which was extremely rudimentary.

"No, no, Da Bao, just call me Lao Yan from now on, don't call me Third Uncle."

Yan Bugui was taken aback, then quickly waved his hand, "It's the weekend, and we're just killing time anyway, so we'll go fishing for some fish to treat the family to a meal. Do you want to come? Let's go together, brother?"

Wang Dabao was amused. They were already brothers after just one day?

"I'll pass, let's do it another day."

Wang Dabao laughed, then tossed over a small packet of tea. "I was going to get you a pack of good cigarettes too, but Lao Yan, your performance last night was really disappointing!"

As he spoke, Wang Dabao looked at him with a disappointed expression.

Yan Bugui put down the small bucket, reached out and took the paper package, opened it and took a sniff, his old face beaming with joy.

But when he heard that he could have gotten a good pack of cigarettes, but missed out because of his hesitation last night, his old face immediately fell.
