Chapter 116 You Are My Sweetheart
Farm hospital.
Early in the morning, Yun Qiao finished his night shift and handed over to the staff who came to relieve him early in the morning.
She gave a detailed account of the conditions of several injured soldiers before taking off her white coat and preparing to leave work.
Just as he was walking through the hall and corridor, he was suddenly stopped by Jiang Hua.
Jiang Hua came out of a ward with an anxious look on her face, and looked at Yun Qiao as if she had seen a savior: "Yun Qiao, don't rush to leave work, come over and help me."
"What's wrong?" Yun Qiaoyi went over and asked.
Jiang Hua explained, "There's a patient I can't get an acupuncture needle into. Are you a good acupuncturist? Please help me."
"Yes." Yun Qiao nodded in agreement and followed her into the ward.
Lying on the hospital bed was a young man named Zhi. He was thin, pale, and looked very bad.
Jiang Hua apologized to him with an apologetic look on her face: "I'm so sorry, my skills are not very good, and I caused you to get stabbed several times in a row."
"It's okay, everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Acupuncture doesn't hurt, it's just like tickling, so don't blame yourself too much." Nan Zhi said to Jiang Hua with a gentle and tolerant expression.
Jiang Hua said, "I've invited some help. This is Ye Zhizhi. She's an excellent acupuncturist. Let her give you the acupuncture this time."
The man nodded: "Okay."
Yun Qiao rubbed his hands with alcohol, picked up the rubber band, and asked, "Which hand should I stick it in?"
"This one." The man stretched out his left hand.
Yun Qiao nodded, first deflated the IV needle, then tied a rubber band around his wrist and instructed, "Make a fist."
After finding a blood vessel to puncture, Yun Qiao picked up a cotton ball with tweezers to disinfect the skin, then pinched the needle and quickly inserted it into the subcutaneous tissue.
After seeing the blood returning, Yun Qiao inserted the needle a little further into the blood vessel. Then he loosened the tourniquet and said, "You can relax now."
Finally, Yun Qiao fixed the needle with tape, adjusted the drip rate, and said, "It's done."
Coming out of the ward, Jiang Hua, holding the treatment tray, said to Yun Qiao with admiration, "Yun Qiao, you're amazing. I told you you have good technique. You'll definitely be able to get it in on the first try."
Jiang Hua felt a little ashamed. "I'm not good at giving injections. Normally, adults' blood vessels are fine, but in this case, the blood vessels are narrow and they've lost too much blood, so they're a little deflated. I can't get the needle in. Luckily, I was lucky. You happened to be off work this time. Otherwise, if I had to run back to the head nurse to ask for help, she would have scolded me again."
Yun Qiao: "Don't be discouraged, you can do it if you practice more."
Jiang Hua sighed, "I don't know when I can finally master it."
Yun Qiao was about to say something when the head nurse hurried in. She said to the nurse, "Put aside your work and come to the office for a meeting. The military hospital is transferring someone else, so we need to hold a meeting to discuss it."
Seeing Yun Qiao wasn't wearing a white coat, he knew she had probably just finished her night shift. Without letting her go, he said directly, "Yun Qiao, don't leave yet. Stay tuned for your acupuncture treatment. This time, we're transferring people to the military region, and you have to go."
"Me?" Yun Qiao was a little surprised: "But I'm an intern."
"Regardless of whether you're an intern or not, real talent is everything. You're no worse than anyone else, and the military hospital needs talent like you right now." The head nurse said directly, "Don't dawdle, come quickly."
Yun Qiao had no choice but to agree: "Okay, I'll be right there."

After struggling to break free from the darkness that was clinging to his bones like a maggot, He Tingjun opened his eyes for a moment and thought he was still dreaming.
He suspected that he had not really escaped from the dream, but had simply run from one nightmare into another beautiful dream.
Otherwise, why would he see Yun Qiao leaning over and pulling his hand the moment he opened his eyes?
The girl's hands were soft and tender, and the touch on his skin aroused shivers. It was so real that it didn't even seem like a dream.
He Tingjun felt that maybe the way he woke up was not right, and subconsciously closed his eyes again.
He Tingjun closed his eyes, the softness on his hand always following him like a shadow.
If it was a dream, it lasted a bit too long.
He felt something was wrong, and just as he was about to open his eyes to find out what was going on, he suddenly felt a chill on the back of his hand, followed by a sharp pain.
He Tingjun subconsciously pulled his hand back, but his wrist was firmly grasped: "It's an acupuncture needle, don't move."
It was Yun Qiao's voice, no doubt about it.
He Tingjun opened his eyes, and sure enough, he saw Yun Qiao's face again.
She did not disappear, but still stood in front of him with her pretty face.
It wasn't a dream.
He Tingjun was a little dazed, and when he came to his senses, he found that there was an IV needle on the back of his hand.
Yun Qiao tiptoed to hang the IV bottle on the iron rack at the head of the bed. Turning around, he saw He Tingjun was about to raise his hand, and quickly held his wrist: "Brother He, the needle has been inserted. Try not to move your hand, otherwise the needle will easily move."
"Tell me what you want and I'll get it for you."
He Tingjun's throat was hoarse, he shook his head and asked her, "Where am I?"
"In the military hospital."
Noticing that He Tingjun had an uncomfortable throat, Yun Qiao turned around and poured him a glass of water.
Because He Tingjun was lying down and receiving an IV drip, Yun Qiao considerately helped him up, let him sit against the head of the bed, and then put the cup of water to his mouth.
