Shang Yan went out with a piece of bread in his mouth. It was his first time going to school in three years, and he ran happily down the street.
It hops around like a little alpaca.
After walking through the familiar streets, Shang Yan turned a corner and bumped into a familiar embrace.
Zhou Ping, who was on his way to pick up Shang Yan, was hit as soon as he turned the corner.
Zhou Ping had actually noticed someone approaching from around the corner a while ago. He instinctively wanted to avoid them, but when he saw that familiar hem of clothing, he stopped in his tracks.
He stood there, seemingly waiting for someone to bump into him.
And that was indeed the case. When Shang Yan bumped into his chest without warning, he hesitated for a moment, but still reached out to support Shang Yan's waist.
Shang Yan's forehead was slightly red from the bump, but when he saw that the person he bumped into was Zhou Ping, he gave him a bright and cheerful smile, "Good morning, Zhou Ping!"
Seemingly influenced by his smile, Zhou Ping slowly nodded, his voice a little hoarse, "Good morning."
"What a coincidence! Did you come here specifically to take me to school?" Shang Yan always spoke his mind.
Hmm... Ever since his memory and cognition became confused, Shang Yan's brain really can't hold too many complicated thoughts.
Even if someone speaks ill of him, their words will only slide across Shang Yan's smooth and elastic brain, and will not affect him at all.
The direct questioning style was very helpful for Zhou Ping, a shy and introverted person. The two of them basically answered whatever Shang Yan asked.
"Okay," Zhou Ping responded. He walked side by side with Shang Yan on the street, his voice clear, "I'll take you to Teacher Xia's office first, then we'll go to class."
Today is the first day of school, and there will definitely be a lot of people. He was a little worried about leaving Shangyan alone.
Shang Yan accepted this readily; he was just looking for a guide.
Turning to look at his side, Zhou Ping was dressed in his school uniform as usual. The school uniforms in Xijin City are blue and white. Because of his slender and tall figure, the blue and white school uniform jacket looked particularly clean and refreshing on him.
However, he had zipped up his school uniform all the way to the top, covering most of his neck, so you couldn't see what he was wearing underneath.
Noticing Shang Yan's gaze, Zhou Ping silently reached out and pulled the zipper of his school uniform up a little more, his ear tips turning slightly pink.
Young people always grow very quickly, especially during high school. Without the oppression and abuse of his biological parents, Zhou Ping, raised by his third uncle, grew very fast and is now 190 cm tall.
On the other hand, Shang Yan's condition might be due to the fact that he used his abilities to become a neurotic immediately after transmigrating and then entered the Sunshine Mental Hospital, where he took medication for several years.
Perhaps due to the medication, he hasn't grown much in the past three years.
Therefore, Shang Yan always had to slightly raise his head whenever he looked at Zhou Ping.
Fortunately, Zhou Ping usually keeps his head down, so Shang Yan only needs to raise his head slightly to see him clearly.
"What are you looking at me for?" Zhou Ping looked away somewhat uncomfortably when he met Shang Yan's light-colored eyes.
Why does Shang Yan always focus his attention on him?
"Oh, I was just wondering what you were wearing under your school uniform," Shang Yan tilted his head slightly, his clear pupils gleaming with a hint of green.
Zhou Ping always covered himself up completely, no matter what he wore; his meticulous outfits revealed nothing.
"..." Zhou Ping turned his head away uncomfortably.
After Shang Yan was discharged from the hospital, he stayed by his side, especially in the afternoon, and would always do things that were not normal. Now he was not surprised by anything Shang Yan would say.
However, out of politeness, Zhou Ping still said, "Long sleeves."
"What color?" Shang Yan asked with a smile, reaching out to pull at his school uniform waist. His smile was mischievous, revealing two sharp little tiger teeth.
Zhou Ping grabbed the hand that Shang Yan was reaching out to, afraid that Shang Yan might pull up his clothes without thinking.
"Blue," he said, a hint of helplessness in his voice, "We're almost at school, stop bothering me."
The two of them bickered and teased each other all the way to the school gate, although it was mostly Shang Yan who was teasing Zhou Ping.
When they arrived at the school gate, Zhou Ping let out a rare sigh of relief.
He tugged at Shang Yan, who was standing behind him, and found it somewhat amusing to see the ahoge (cowlick) on Shang Yan's head swaying.
"Come on, I'll take you to the office first."
"After the first class, come find me in Class 6 of Senior Three, and I'll show you around the campus so you can get used to the place."
After he had clearly outlined what to do next, he asked Shang Yan as they walked towards the office, "Did your aunt tell you which class you were assigned to?"
Shang Yan shook his head sincerely, "My mother said it depends on Teacher Xia's arrangements."
After dropping Shang Yan off at the office door, Zhou Ping hesitated for a moment before finally deciding to go in with him.
His aunt and uncle have entrusted Shangyan to him; he should shoulder this responsibility...
As is well known, Zhou Ping has poor communication skills.
Things have gotten a bit better with Shang Yan by my side lately, but those changes only apply to Shang Yan.
Shang Yan glanced at him suspiciously, and seeing Zhou Ping standing in front of the door as if he had made up his mind, he reached out and knocked on the door.
"Please come in."
Zhou Ping pushed open the door and led Shang Yan inside.
Ms. Xia, who was looking at a watch, looked up with some confusion and saw that the two students standing in front of her hadn't said a word, so she asked.
"It's Zhou Ping."
"Is there something you need?"
"Yes," Zhou Ping nodded silently, then pushed Shang Yan, who was next to him, closer.
“Teacher… he’s a freshman.” His voice was low, but his words were exceptionally clear.
Zhou Ping was about to continue his introduction when Shang Yan patted his hand and then walked up to Teacher Xia.
"Hello teacher, my name is Shang Yan, and I'm the new student!" he said in a clear voice, looking intently at Teacher Xia who was holding the form.
“It’s you. I remember you. You’re one of the new students, right…” Teacher Xia took out a new student form and found Shang Yan’s name. “Your father specifically told me that you have a friend in Class 6 of the third year of high school.”
"Yes!" Shang Yan nodded repeatedly, then added with a hint of pride, "It's him, his name is Zhou Ping."
He pointed to Zhou Ping beside him.
Zhou Ping, who was standing next to him with his eyes slightly lowered, couldn't help but smile.
"Hmm...then you'll be placed in Class Six, which will make it easier for your friends to take care of you." Teacher Xia knew that Shang Yan had just been released from Sunshine Mental Hospital.
She had some impression of Zhou Ping; he was a good student, somewhat quiet and reserved, and seemed a bit introverted.
However, Zhou Ping seems quite composed, so it might be wise to have him keep an eye on Shang Yan.
"Okay, teacher," Shang Yan replied with a smile.
Teacher Xia then told him some things to pay attention to, and seeing that it was almost time, she let the two of them leave.
On the first day of school, everyone walked with people they knew, and when they arrived at the classroom, they sat together as deskmates.
