Entertainment Industry: Everyone Loves Her (The End)

"Go away, I don't know you. Miss, if you're here for fun, you've chosen the wrong person!"

Xia Yixin was furious when she saw the man turn to leave. She grabbed a snowball and threw it at his back.

He paused in his steps.

"Coward! Lu Yan, you coward! Do you believe I'll never forgive you if you leave!"

Xia Yixin was completely desperate. She held her breath, watching him take one step, then another.

A sudden chill swept over her, and she swayed.

People around who had been drawn in gasped in surprise.

The man, who had walked to the bar entrance, finally couldn't contain himself and ran back to hug her.

She hugged him and burst into tears.

All the pent-up grievances, sadness, self-blame, and fear from this period were released in this moment with my tears.

For Lu Yan, every single tear she shed caused him excruciating pain.

It was even more painful for him than the physical pain he was experiencing right now.

He hadn't expected her to find out so quickly; he didn't know whether to feel relieved or disappointed.

Although he didn't speak, and there was no familiar cold fragrance, Xia Yixin recognized those eyes, those eyes that seemed to hold the stars.

The temperature was below zero, and Xia Yixin was freezing even though she was dressed in thick clothes. He originally wanted to let go of her, but he found that she was tightly clutching his clothes, as if no one could separate her from him.

"Go back to the hotel, you need to keep warm," he advised.

She shook her head. "Wherever you go, I'll go."

The tour guide had long since disappeared, so Lu Yan had no choice but to take her back to his temporary home—a second-hand RV.

Lu Yan left this time without taking anything with him except a mobile phone filled with Xia Yixin's photos. He didn't have a SIM card, and to avoid trouble, he only brought enough cash to X country, and he even went through a special process as an undocumented immigrant.

He won this secondhand RV through underground boxing, and most of the money he spent at the bar came from there. The only thing that could save him every night was looking at her photos.

The Bai family bloodline was gradually failing, and his body was decaying. He finally experienced what it meant to get drunk and forget everything.

Of course, he wouldn't tell her.

Xia Yixin burst into tears again when she saw the somewhat dilapidated RV, but she quickly wiped away her tears and took a deep breath. "This is good. We are both free now. This will be our home from now on."

She smiled and was about to start tidying up his clothes that he had left lying around when he suddenly hugged her.

"Go back, go home."

Her pupils contracted slightly as she looked firmly at the unfamiliar face before her. "This is home."

It was very late, and the moonlight outside was serene. The RV was parked in an empty parking lot. Xia Yixin was asleep, but she was still tightly clutching Lu Yan's clothes, waking up anxiously every now and then.

Looking at the little girl with her brows furrowed, Lu Yan ultimately couldn't bring himself to leave again.

The reason he broke off so decisively was because he knew he couldn't possibly have the willpower to leave her a second time.

However, when he looked out the window at the headlights of a car suddenly shining on him, he squinted, took off his shirt to get out of the predicament, and then put on a coat before going outside.

It was the white tour guide that Xia Yixin had hired before.

He didn't run away before; he was harassed by drunkards who discovered a large amount of cash on him and then began to have wicked intentions towards Xia Yixin.

Xia Yixin woke up with a start.

She realized she only had a T-shirt in her hand, which startled her so much that she immediately sat up and ran barefoot to the door. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Lu Yan's figure through the window in the door, but her breath caught in her throat when she saw that he had been stabbed.

When she opened the door, Lu Yan had already dealt with the attackers, and there were seven or eight corpses on the ground.

Lu Yan turned around and saw that Xia Yixin had woken up. Before he could speak, he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Xia Yixin rushed out to support him and quickly used the white jade ointment in her storage ring to stop the bleeding. During the process of stopping the bleeding, she discovered that Lu Yan's condition was more serious than she had thought. The wound was healing very slowly, and the Bai family's super healing power was disappearing.

"We must leave here immediately." Lu Yan held her hand and kissed her forehead reassuringly. "Don't worry, I'm fine."

Although he had dealt with the previous group, there was no guarantee that a second wave would come, and he also had quite a few enemies.

As soon as it was light, the two set off, with Lu Yan driving.

Xia Yixin dared not sleep anymore. She looked at Lu Yan. Although it was an unfamiliar face, she was familiar with his eyes. She smelled the faint, cool fragrance, but her heart was filled with countless worries.

When she left, she glanced at the people lying on the ground. They had no guns, only knives, and none of them were professionals. In the past, it would have been a piece of cake for Lu Yan to deal with a few people like that, but now his physical strength was declining.

A pang of sadness welled up in her heart, and she leaned against him.

Only the faint, cool fragrance and the warmth of her body could alleviate her unease.

After driving for fifty or sixty kilometers, they took a short break near a motel, where they bought some food and drinks. Fortunately, Xia Yixin had some food and drinks in her storage ring.

That evening, she was only able to relax after confirming that Lu Yan's wounds had completely healed with the help of the white jade ointment.

On the small bed in the RV, Xia Yixin held him in her arms. In the darkness, she couldn't fall asleep for a long time. "Lu Yan, can you turn back? Anyway, no one recognizes us anymore."

Since she got together with Lu Yan, whenever she was alone with him, she didn't need to change her appearance, but unfortunately Lu Yan always wore that same unshaven white man's look.
