This feeling of unease grew stronger and stronger, but she knew she had no way out. She turned the last corner in one breath, and unexpectedly, she saw two fully armed Executors in mechs at the end of the corridor.
Right next to them was the door to their small warehouse.
This is a trap.
“B-level gene user 0, we now suspect you of being involved in the system intrusion incident. Please come with us.” Two tall executors walked towards her, their menacing aura palpable.
Li Rui's mind was filled with only one word: "run." However, when she turned to run, she found two Executors dressed in black mechs not far behind her.

One of the mechs, over five meters tall, charged toward her, shaking the entire corridor. Li Rui knew that being attacked from both sides meant she had no way out. Moreover, with the system intrusion and V's disappearance, they must have discovered V's existence!
As the executioner's blade drew ever closer, Li Rui resolutely pulled out the poison from her pocket and was about to put it in her mouth. Before she could recover from the shock of Chen Zhe actually wearing the Executor mecha, she heard that very familiar mechanical male voice behind her: "We need to hurry, they will find us soon."

The voice inside this mech is V!
"It's not convenient here, let's go outside and I'll explain," Chen Zhe reassured him.
Li Rui nodded, knowing this wasn't the time for questioning. She followed Chen Zhe and V to the underground parking garage, which looked like it had been abandoned for a long time. The other lab members were waiting there. Hong Feng's eyes lit up as soon as she saw Li Rui, "Sister Li!"
The others also looked excited. They were all injured, indicating that they had been ambushed before Li Rui arrived at the meeting point, and were later rescued by Chen Zhe and V.
V didn't reminisce with them. Instead, he lifted the inlet of the sewer and said in a deep voice, "This leads to the outside. You three go in first, quickly."
The lab currently has only six people in total. Besides Li Rui and Hong Feng, the other four are all men. Except for Chen Zhe, they are all B-level gene users.
