Chapter 104 Male Fish with Cub

Chapter 104 Male Fish with Cub

Vesperia had rarely experienced such an embarrassing moment in her entire life.

His father was a nobleman in Champagne, with no real power but titles and substantial family assets, while his mother was a Chinese designer.

Vesperia was educated very well from a young age, as expected of a descendant of the nobility.

Jokingly speaking, the word "elegance" runs through Vespella's life.

But today, because of Naga's food protection and her pettiness in feeding outsiders stale food, Vespera had the most embarrassing lunch in his history.

This embarrassment reached its climax when Naga came back with thirteen fresh sea urchins. He gave two sea urchins to the high priest, snow leopard, Bai Su, Keos and himself, and three to Vespella.

If there was anything worse, it would be that after a brief thought, Naga placed her two sea urchins in front of Vesperia.

Said: "You eat, I'm not hungry."

Vespera: “…”

The other four people: "..."

Bai Su cleared his throat and, on behalf of the equally embarrassed crowd, offered a sincere suggestion: "Your Highness, why don't you just eat by yourself? We're not hungry either."

Vesperia, who already had five sea urchins, felt a little breathless.

Naga's love was indeed too heavy, and he was spoiled to the point of suffocation.

Before Vespera could say anything, the Siren, whose emotional intelligence was even lower than her IQ, had already started chatting with Bai Su, who was trying to smooth things over.

"Really? That's great!" Naga said happily, "The fish and shrimp I gave you before weren't particularly unfresh. They were just a little bit stale - I caught them last night..."

"Naga." Vespera took a deep breath, interrupting Naga's increasingly outrageous explanation. "I can't eat that much. Also, don't talk while eating or sleeping. Talking while eating is bad for your health. I'm worried about your health, so please stop talking, okay?"

Naga nodded.

Then the world became quiet.

Everyone ate in silence, the strangest meal since they arrived on the island.

During this time, the only noise was the deliberate smacking of the lips made by the fat leopard raised by the high priest as it chewed dried fish.

After the suffocating lunch, Vesperia, heartbroken, decided to go back to the tent for a nap.

He was actually in a pretty good mental state, but for some reason, he just wanted to sleep.

"Maybe I'm feeling sleepy after eating too much." Vespera said to herself.

This was the first time he took a nap in the tent after landing on the island. In the past few days, Vespera went to the reef, sunbathed, felt the cool sea breeze, and slept on a beach chair.

The stuffy tent made Vespera extremely uncomfortable. He couldn't fall asleep at all. Even when Naga turned her legs into cold snake tails for him to hold, he still couldn't fall asleep.

Vespera tossed and turned in bed, feeling increasingly irritated.

"Vespera, how about I take you to my lair? It's cooler there." Naga suggested.

The changes inside his body made Vespera's blood boil, but he himself was unaware of this trend and did not understand what was happening. He just thought that the change in environment made him uncomfortable.

But Naga, as the giver, could discover - in fact, Naga had only read similar examples from the inherited memories, and this was the first time he himself had to deal with such a situation.

Although Naga was meticulous enough, she was still worried that she had not taken good care of the prince.

Worried that he was hungry and that he couldn't sleep well.

Naga felt like she was about to turn into a male fish with cubs.

"No, it'll take a long time to swim," Vespera muttered.

He really wanted to close his eyes and sleep soundly, but the stuffy air in the tent was almost driving him crazy.

"Then do you want to sleep under the rocks?" Naga asked again.

"I do." Vespera said in a sticky tone that she herself didn't realize was there, "But I've already returned the sunshade suit to Bai Su, and borrowing it from him again is... troublesome."

As he said this, he buried his face in Naga's belly covered with delicate scales and rubbed it like a spoiled child.

Naga felt like he was hit by a piece of sweet food. It should taste like the pudding that Vesperia gave him last time, tender and smooth with a pleasant taste of milk and honey.

Perhaps Vespera herself is a piece of pastry wrapped in a sweet and flowing center.

"Oh, dear, you shouldn't rub against my belly. You make me really want to..." Naga paused and changed the question, "Do you want to go to the woods to cool off? Maybe the breeze from the leaves will make you feel better."

"I do, but I don't want to move." Vespera replied lazily.

Naga said nothing. He gently pushed Vespera off him, transformed his snake tail into long legs, and quickly tied his robe.

Then he held Vespera, who was staring at him blankly, in his arms like a child.

"Ah! What are you doing?" Vespera was almost woken up by the fright.

"I'll take you to the woods and find a soft patch of grass to sleep on," Naga said. He weighed Vespera's hips and felt that he was heavier than before, probably due to his feeding. This made Naga very satisfied. "You don't have to go. I'll carry you over."

"But I'm a prince, and it's not nice to be seen like this."

"No one will see it. They are all asleep. Just bury your head in my neck and I will wrap you up with a blanket. No one will see it."

Before, Vespera would have thought it was ridiculous and shameful for someone to hold her by the buttocks like a child in his arms.

But now, clinging to Naga, he could smell a faint scent of sea salt and lemon. It wasn't cold, but rather warm, filling him with a sense of security.

"Okay, you're right, I should hide in your chest... Do you have any marine perfume? It smells pretty good..." Vespera said dazedly.

"Go to sleep, you deserve a good sleep, my prince." Naga coaxed him gently.

He covered Vespera completely with a thin blanket. The siren's strong arms could hold an adult man firmly with one hand, so he used his other hand to gently pat Vespera's back.

He walked out holding Vespera.

The breath on my shoulder grew warmer, and Vespera was already fast asleep.

Naga held him and walked slowly in the woods, coaxing him like a child, weighing him from time to time and whispering some ancient and obscure words in his ears.

It should be a language belonging to marine creatures. The content may be fairy tales, or just some meaningless whispers.

Naga found a nice spot in the woods, shaded by palm and coconut trees overhead, their leaves rustling in the wind.

The temperature and humidity are suitable, and there is no direct sunlight.

This is a treasure land that is recognized even by the marine creature Naga.

So Naga gently placed Vespera on the soft grass covered with a blanket, and lifted a little cloth to cover Vespera's abdomen and back to prevent him from catching a cold.

During the process, Vespera did not wake up, probably because of the soothing smell emanating from the Siren, which gave the cubs.

He slept soundly and contentedly.

"Cute, you look like a mermaid cub, even though you're not." Naga said gently, "Humans are cute too. I like humans."

When Vesperia woke up, it was already dark.

When he woke up, he found that not only Naga, but also his personal guards and more than 20 guards were guarding him.

"Why am I here?" Vespera muttered to herself.

But he soon remembered that it was noon, and he was obviously very sleepy, but he couldn't sleep well. So Naga suggested taking him to the woods to take a nap in the breeze.

He agreed and just as Naga held him in her arms, he fell asleep defenselessly.

When I woke up, it was already night? Time flies.

"I just brought you to the woods for a nap, but they..." Naga pointed at the guards surrounding them and complained aggrievedly, "They thought I was going to steal you. Although I did think about stealing you to my lair...but in the end I didn't steal you. I just let you have a good nap."

Vesperia rubbed his sore temples and went to see his personal guards.

The guard was also embarrassed. How could he know about the little affair between His Royal Highness the Prince and this mysterious mermaid? It was just dinner time, and he went to look for them in the tent, only to find that both His Royal Highness the Prince and the mermaid were missing.

The guards were so frightened that their brains were about to explode. They quickly called for help, but found that the two were actually sleeping on a patch of grass just after entering the woods.

"Hmm..." Vespera couldn't judge family affairs, so she just laughed it off and changed the subject, "Have you all eaten yet?"

The guards shook their heads. They were in such a hurry to find someone that they missed the time.

"No." The guard said honestly.

How could they have the heart to eat if they didn’t find His Royal Highness the Prince?

Vespera thought for a moment and said, "You should go back first and find something to eat. I'm not hungry yet, so I won't eat with you."

The guard said anxiously, "How can you not eat? Don't starve yourself to death."

"I don't want to eat. I have no appetite." Vespera shook her head.

"This time I agree with these humans, Vespera, you can't not eat." Naga suddenly spoke.

"But I'm really not hungry." Vespera rubbed her stomach.

He felt his stomach was full, and the thought of the big pot of rice and those strange noodles made him lose his appetite.

"Are you really not hungry?" Naga coaxed. "Do you want to walk on the beach with me? Let your toes step into the cool water? There are some young crabs on the beach at night. If you are tired and hungry, I will go to the sea and catch you the freshest and largest sweet shrimp. Do you like tuna? Its meat is very tender and the fat is very sweet. Maybe you can add some sea grapes to season it."

Vespera's saliva began to flow rapidly.

He could already imagine the scene of walking barefoot on the shallow beach and eating seafood.

He even thought that he might try diving and pick sea urchins in the coral reef himself.

Will there be small fish to guide him? Do they know which rocks hold the most delicious sea urchins? If he's lucky, he might even pry open some high-quality black gold abalone.

Vespera nodded vigorously and said, "Yes!"
