It got hard
Chen Chi agreed.
The two did not walk outside for long before returning to the hotel.
Chu Sinian had been absent-minded since dinner, and when he arrived at the hotel, he didn't even notice that there was still sand on his legs and feet that hadn't been washed off.
Chen Chi stopped Chu Sinian from going to the sofa, grabbed his forearm and led him into the bathroom, saying, "Your legs aren't clean."
Chu Sinian then looked down and found that the sand on his calves had almost blended into his skin, and was barely visible unless you looked closely.
He was led to the shower room by Chen Chi, and watched blankly as Chen Chi pulled down the showerhead, turned on the water, and slowly rinsed the sand off his legs.
Water of moderate temperature was poured onto Chu Sinian's calves, followed by a hand.
Whether it was because his calves were too thin or his hands were too big, his hands, with their prominent veins and bones, could cover his calves, and the thin calluses on his palms and fingertips rubbed against his skin with each touch.
Chu Sinian inexplicably turned his head away from looking, listening to the sound of the water spraying.
After a while, he turned back and asked, "Is it okay now?"
Chen Chi said, "Lift your foot slightly."
Chu Sinian said, "I'll do it myself."
Chen Chi looked up at him, his expression solemn and calm. "Lift it up a bit."
Chu Sinian gritted his teeth and lifted his foot.
Chen Chi then slid his hand down the calf to the ankle and held it.
He looked down at his feet, which were red from being rinsed with warm water, and silently washed the backs of his feet.
Chu Sinian was thin, and after being hospitalized, he lost even more weight at a visible rate. Sometimes Chen Chi could see the protruding bones on his back.
At that time, Chen Chi would always feel a jolt in his heart, afraid that he would turn into sand slipping through his fingers.
Now, Chu Sinian has finally gained weight, with even the insteps of his feet covered by a thin layer of fat. His fair skin has faint blue veins showing through, but it feels soft to the touch.
It's beautiful everywhere.
This was the conclusion Chen Chi reached with a frown.
He put Chu Sinian down, patted his calf, and said, "The other one."
Chu Sinian was getting tired of standing, so he sat down on the edge of the bathtub and lifted it up for him.
Chu Sinian was getting a little bored while washing up and was lost in thought when he felt his feet being placed on something hard.
He looked down and saw Chen Chi kneeling down, placing Chu Sinian's feet on his thighs and washing them carefully.
Chen Chi's thigh muscles were clearly defined and muscular. The dim bathroom light fell on his slightly slumped, hunched back, making him look like a wild beast lying down to rest, which made Chu Sinian's eyelids twitch violently.
He hesitated, recalling what Ning Zicheng had said back then.
"His muscles are so strong they could send me flying with one punch."
"He looks like he's made of steel."
Chu Sinian suddenly remembered the alley where he had been choked. If Chen Chi really hated him and attacked him, he would probably lose half his life.
Chen Chi put his legs down, took out a towel to carefully wipe the water stains, got up and went out to get him a new pair of slippers. "Go on out, I'm going to change my pants."
Chu Sinian gave an "oh" and walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed.
The living room connects to a temperature-controlled swimming pool outside the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. He pushed open the glass doors and walked out, then lay down on a lounge chair by the pool.
The night sky in Cancun is filled with stars, twinkling and shining, their edges blending with the boundless sea like two smooth mirrors.
Chu Sinian had been on a plane for a long time, and went out to play without much rest after landing. Only then did he realize how tired he was, and he felt a little cold when the wind blew from the sea.
Chen Chi changed into a pair of trousers, walked out of the bathroom, and went straight to lie down next to Chu Sinian.
The two of them were a bit cramped on the recliner, their arms touching each other and their legs touching, so Chu Sinian had to turn to his side.
The next second, Chen Chi scooped him up and held him tightly in his arms. "Why are you so cold?"
Chu Sinian felt the warmth on her skin and felt a pang of jealousy: "Why are you so hot?"
Chen Chi said, "It's because you're too cold."
Chu Sinian, feeling like he had a human heater, didn't want to argue with him anymore. He silently lowered his head and rested his head on Chu Sinian's chest, saying, "I don't want to take a shower anymore, I'm so sleepy."
Chen Chi patted his waist, "I'll help you wash."
Chu Sinian suddenly laughed twice, "Alright, if you really wanted to wash me, I'd already got hard before I even took my clothes off."
Chen Chi didn't deny it, and said in a deep, slow voice, "Even if I get hard, I won't do anything to you."
Chu Sinian raised an eyebrow but did not refute.
He slid out of Chen Chi's arms and lay down on one side. To avoid crowding him, Chen Chi had to lie on his side and took his hand. "Are you cold? Let me get you a blanket?"
"No need, just come closer to me."
Chen Chi did as he was told, and the two lay down shoulder to shoulder and leg to leg.
Chu Sinian gazed quietly at the night sky, listening to the sea breeze and waves in the distance. "The night and the sea in Cancun are both dark blue."
Chen Chi said, "It's your eyes."
Chu Sinian turned to look at him, "Is this the color of my eyes?"
"Yes, Chu Sinian's eyes are the sea."
Chu Sinian said with a smile, "Chen Chi's eyes are the universe."
Chen Chi paused, then repeated, "Universe."
"Yes, the most important universe in my mind."
“You have a pair of unfathomable eyes, deep and full of secrets.” Chu Sinian turned back to look at the sky. “The universe is the same; it holds everything, yet there are also clues to be found.”
Chen Chi's gaze fixed on those eyes looking up at the night sky, and he spoke softly, "Niannian, will you blame me?"
Chu Sinian was clearly bewildered. "What's it to you about?"
He thought for a moment, "Are you talking about the past? I've never blamed you."
Chen Chi suddenly straightened up, his back to the distant night, staring intently at him with eyes as bright as the starry sky. Then he slowly leaned down and gently touched his lips. "Shall I kiss you?"
Chu Sinian wanted to ask me: When did you ever ask me that?
He nodded, and Chen Chi leaned in, gently pecking at him with his lips, his voice low and slow, "Never abandon me."
Chu Sinian's mind cleared for a moment as if a stream of cold water had rushed in, but he was quickly drawn back into an ambiguous and tender state.
Chen Chi extended his lips and tongue to tease Chu Sinian's lips. Chu Sinian, who was in a daze from the kiss, subconsciously had his tongue pulled out. Chen Chi then mischievously took it into his mouth and entwined it with his tongue.
Chen Chi held the back of his neck and lay down in front of him, covering Chu Sinian completely, so that even the moonlight could not penetrate.
Following the saliva overflowing from his lips, Chen Chi kissed his neck repeatedly, and a strong fragrance wafted into Chen Chi's nostrils.
He couldn't help but inhale deeply, lifting his lustful eyes to look at Chu Sinian's slightly open mouth, then buried his face in Chu's neck again, gently nibbling at his smooth skin.
When Chen Chi straightened up, the area that had been licked was slightly swollen and flushed with an undeniable crimson.
A strange sense of satisfaction welled up in Chen Chi's heart, yet he still felt that the thrill was not enough.
He exhaled a deep breath, and said to Chu Sinian in a gentle tone, "I'm going to take a shower. Don't stay outside for too long, or you'll catch a cold."
Chu Sinian nodded vaguely, and as he slowly opened his eyes, he found that the warm feeling was getting further and further away from him.
Chu Sinian slumped in the recliner, letting the sea breeze dispel the lingering fragrance and chill him before slowly getting up.
He was indeed tired after a long day. Listening to the sound of running water in the bathroom, he felt he should take a shower first so he could go to sleep earlier.
Chu Sinian took out his phone and saw that it was almost eleven o'clock.
He forced himself to reply to Ning Zicheng's message.
Giant Orange: [How are you spending this year?]
Chu Sinian replied: "Just live like that."
Giant Orange: [Are you coming to my house for Chinese New Year this year?]
Chu Sinian glanced instinctively at the bathroom: [I'm not going. Please tell my aunt and uncle for me.]
Giant Orange: [Aren't you lonely? Come stay at my place!]
Chu Sinian: [Forget it. If I showed myself now, they'd tear me apart the moment they saw me.]
Giant Orange: [Let's see who dares to tear you apart!]
Chu Sinian: [It's the New Year, I don't want to get upset. Besides, I'm not alone.]
Giant Orange: [??? Who the hell are you? Yu Shi?]
Chu Sinian chuckled: [Chen Chi.]
After sending the message, he promptly turned on Do Not Disturb and tossed his phone aside, watching with great interest the video calls that kept coming in.
Around 11 o'clock, Chen Chi finally came out of the bathroom, wearing only a bath towel.
Chu Sinian dragged his heavy body step by step to the bathroom, his eyes almost closed.
Chen Chi was worried that he might fall, so he watched him walk safely into the bathroom before he felt at ease and started drying his hair.
As night deepened, the hazy moonlight was shrouded by clouds and could not penetrate, making the night in Cancun exceptionally dark.
Chu Sinian walked out of the shower room with wet hair, water droplets dripping onto his bathrobe, soaking it patch by patch.
A cool breeze blew in through the open floor-to-ceiling glass door, whistling against his skin. Chu Sinian sneezed, feeling much more awake.
Hearing the sneeze, Chen Chi quickly gave instructions to the person on the other end of the phone, strode into the room, put down his phone, picked up a towel from the cabinet and wrapped it around his head, saying, "Why don't you dry your hair?"
Chu Sinian's voice was already nasal at this point. "I got the towel in the bathroom wet, so I didn't wipe it."
Chen Chi wrung out the hair under the towel with a bit of force, led Chu Sinian to sit down in front of the hairdryer, and dried his hair for him. "Why didn't you call me?"
Chu Sinian felt that Chen Chi's hair-drying skills were improving, "I heard you on the phone, so I didn't call him."
Chen Chi said expressionlessly, "Next time you come out with wet hair, I'll wash it for you."
Chu Sinian glanced at him and said, "If you're so capable, then come in."
Chen Chi didn't banter with him and started drying his hair.
Once the strands of hair that had spilled from his fingertips were no longer damp, Chen Chi told Chu Sinian, "Go to sleep."
Chu Sinian was also drowsy. He put his hand on his belt and was about to undo it when he remembered something and turned around. Chen Chi walked out of the room and closed the door.
Chu Sinian was a little confused. He changed into a clean shirt and went to the living room to find him. "Aren't you going to sleep?"
Chen Chi stood up from the sofa and looked at him quietly. "Wake up together?"
Chu Sinian said, "Otherwise what? You want to sleep in the living room?"
Chen Chi's gaze swept over Chu Sinian's bare legs, then he subconsciously looked at the closed glass door, walked over to Chu Sinian and said, "Okay."
Chu Sinian lay down on the bed before him, sleeping on the inside.
As soon as Chen Chi lay down, the soft cushion began to sink, and Chu Sinian slid slightly to his side.
He looked at Chen Chi with a puzzled expression, "How much do you weigh?"
Chen Chi paused in pulling the blanket, "More than one hundred and eighty."
Chu Sinian looked away and thought to himself: Thank goodness he wasn't the one who picked the person up.
Chu Sinian turned back to examine Chen Chi's exposed arm, which was incredibly muscular, and couldn't help but recall Chen Chi's bare upper body.
He didn't look like someone who weighed 180 pounds at all; every piece of flesh was tightly packed onto his bones, hard as a weapon, incredibly sharp.
Perhaps it's because of the high muscle mass.
Chu Sinian glanced silently at his forearm. To be honest, he didn't like to exercise, and when he was working, he didn't eat much. His skin was very thin, and compared to Chen Chi, it was simply unbearable to look at.
Chu Sinian felt inexplicably depressed, turned around and, with his back to Chen Chi, grabbed the blanket to cover himself.
