stick out your tongue

stick out your tongue

Seawater shattered in his eyes, and Chu Sinian smiled, admitting it.

I've liked you for a long time.

When the two returned to the hotel, Chen Chi's suit was badly wrinkled.

He casually took off his coat, pulled off his bow tie, and kissed Chu Sinian, who was leaning against the door.

The person on the door had a slightly lowered head, with a thin layer of mist covering their eyes. Chen Chi pinched their chin and gently lifted them up. The dark blue pupils under their half-closed eyelashes resembled the eyes of a siren.

Chen Chi kissed Chu Sinian, his large hand sliding down to the back of her head, his palm open, his five fingers covering her head.

Chu Sinian had already been kissed once, and his lips were a little sore. He turned his head and said, "I don't want to kiss anymore."

Chen Chi then put his arm around his waist, nuzzled his head against the top of his head, and led him step by step to the sofa.

He spread Chu Sinian's legs apart and held him in his arms. This intimate posture made Chu Sinian a little uncomfortable, but he was so dizzy from the kiss that he didn't mind and obediently leaned on his shoulder.

Chen Chi gently patted his back, "Does your mouth hurt?"

Chu Sinian asked with dissatisfaction, "What do you think?"

A few soft laughs escaped Chen Chi's throat. "Then I won't lick your lips anymore." After saying that, he covered his lips with his again.

Outside were huge floor-to-ceiling glass doors, through which the dim sunset shone onto the wooden floor. The slowly descending night crept to the sofa and stopped at a limp hand lying on the floor.

That hand wasn't alone for long; another large hand, with distinct knuckles and bulging veins, climbed up the forearm and completely enveloped Chu Sinian's hand.

Chen Chi grabbed his hand and pressed it against the edge of the sofa, his lips lightly brushing against each other's.

He turned to Chu Sinian and said, "Stick out your tongue, stop licking."

Chu Sinian instinctively obeyed, but Chen Chi remained motionless.

His naked gaze swept over those slightly open eyes, hidden by thick eyelashes, and settled on the tip of his shameless, open mouth, which was slightly protruding from his tongue.

The lips are red, the inside of the mouth is red, and the eyes are red.

My face was hot, my mouth was hot, and my tongue was even hotter.

Chen Chizai carefully examined the inside of his mouth, squinted, and said, "Your throat is so shallow."

Chu Sinian waited for a while but no one paid any attention to him. His saliva was drooling from his mouth, and he wanted to shut his mouth in a wronged manner.

No sooner had she moved than Chen Chi licked her like a dog, his rough tongue reaching right up to her throat.

The quiet room was filled only with the sounds of their secret, intertwined lips and tongues, their unsteady breathing, and the distant, surging waves, creating a shameful yet melodious tune.

Chu Sinian said in a hoarse voice, "It's...okay."

Chen Chi was so engrossed in the kiss that he would occasionally lift his lowered eyes to look at his flushed cheeks, his eyes filled with a deep and unsettling desire.

Chu Sinian once again managed to dodge his tongue, "That's enough."

Seeing that his lips were red and about to swell, Chen Chi finally took pity on him and let him go. He sat up halfway and scooped Chu Sinian up to sit on his lap.

Chen Chi rested one hand on his cheekbone and the other on his other hand, comforting him, "I'll put some medicine on it in a bit, and your mouth won't hurt anymore."

Chu Sinian shook his head against his chest, his tone somewhat incredulous, "It's not like there's anything broken or you're applying any medicine."

"Apply it if it hurts."

Chu Sinian looked up at him, his chin resting on his chest. "I'm not that delicate."

Chen Chi raised his hand to stroke the thin redness spreading to the corners of his eyes, his voice a little hoarse, "You know what? If I kiss you a little harder, you'll turn pink all the way from your neck to behind your ears."

"Too sensitive, year after year."

Chu Sinian's eyes widened, and when he tried to move his waist down, he was tightly restrained, as if bound by iron, with no room to move.

His lower back was throbbing with pain from the pressure, and he frantically told himself that Chen Chi was his girlfriend, Chen Chi was his girlfriend, Chen Chi was his girlfriend.

After reciting the sutra for a while, Chu Sinian was slightly discouraged and lay on his chest without saying a word.

Chen Chi's eyes were eerily dark, as if he had been appeased and pleasing, and he moved a little more vigorously, saying, "Let's go eat in a bit."

Chu Sinian remained silent, burying his face in his chest. "You'd better hurry,"

As it turns out, it's not fast at all.

Chen Chi turned and went to the bathroom after a short while. He knew he would be in the bathroom for a while, so he first coaxed Chu Sinian until he was no longer angry before going into the bathroom to take care of himself.

When Chen Chi came out, Chu Sinian was already lying on the sofa, half asleep.

Chu Sinian always slept very well, lying on the sofa with his hands curled up at his sides.

Chen Chi casually pulled off the black short-sleeved shirt draped over his shoulder and put it on, then patted Chu Sinian's leg. "Get up and eat."

Chu Sinian shuddered and woke up from his drowsy state.

Chen Chi frowned slightly and touched the temperature on his forehead; it was normal.

Are you feeling unwell?

Chu Sinian rubbed his eyes. "No, I'm just a little tired from flying."

Chen Chi took out a gift bag from beside the sofa and pulled out a pure white long-sleeved light jacket. "Wear a long coat when you go out."

Chu Sinian nodded and put it on, looking at him suspiciously as he did so, "When did you buy this? It fits you quite well."

Chen Chi took his hand and walked towards the door. "The assistant prepared it."

The temperature in Cancun drops significantly at night, with the sea breeze, sometimes undulating and sometimes surging, bringing icy cold air.

The northern coastline was bathed in a dim yellow light. Chu Sinian followed the lights and discovered that half a meter away from the waves, there was a half-buried ground light, similar in style to those in Beijing courtyard houses, which flickered like stars.

Chu Sinian pinched Chen Chi's knuckles, "Where did you get those lights from Cancun?"

Chen Chi said, "I had someone prepare it; we'll be leaving in a bit."

Chu Sinian looked ahead and found no one in sight. "You cleared the area?"

Chen Chi hummed in agreement.

Chu Sinian couldn't help but laugh, "Didn't you say that money should be spent wisely?"

Director Chen turned his head to look at the smile on his face, "On the edge of a knife."

Walk along the coastline for about half a kilometer, and you'll find a seaside restaurant. A small part of the restaurant isn't in the sea, while the majority stands on the beach. The overall color scheme is dark purple and red, somewhat resembling a run-down rock pub in an American TV show, but much newer.

A flight of steps led from the sand to the wooden floor, flanked by railings adorned with roses. Romantic-toned lights cast their glow on the steps, and Chu Sinian stepped up, supported by his forearm. His ears were redder than the lamplight.

Chen Chi lagged behind him, following like a majestic knight.

The restaurant was empty. A white player piano began to play softly, its melody soothing and beautiful, its rhythm flowing smoothly. Red roses were scattered from the piano lid to the tables and chairs outside the hall, their petals covering everything.

Chu Sinian picked up a petal and smelled it. The fragrance was faint, mixed with the salty dampness of the sea breeze.

"Wedding in a Dream." Chu Sinian smiled and pressed a flower petal to his heart. "A piano piece. Why did you choose Wedding in a Dream?"

Chen Chi followed his hand, picked up a flower petal, and placed it on the dining table, saying, "Because I want to marry you."

Chu Sinian was taken aback; it was an answer he had expected.

The piano music continued to play, and Chen Chi slowly pressed him into a chair, standing beside him to cut the grilled squid for him. "Nothing else, just what I expected."

Chen Chi held a piece of squid to Chu Sinian's mouth, and Chu Sinian opened his mouth, bit the squid, and rolled it into his mouth.

He said, "It's quite delicious."

"The seafood here is delicious, but you can't eat too much. I only ordered some of their signature dishes."

Chu Sinian picked up the taco and ate it.

Chen Chi sat down, looked at Chu Sinian across from him who was gazing at the distant horizon, lowered his eyes and asked, "Have you been eating well at home?"

Chu Sinian snapped out of his reverie and nodded. "Didn't you arrange all my meals perfectly?" He chuckled slightly. "I don't know how you figured me out..."

He paused halfway through his sentence, narrowed his eyes slightly, and said, "The food was practically brought to my mouth, of course I ate it."

Chen Chi ladled a small bowl of corn soup for him, "Can you get used to it?"

Chu Sinian took a sip; it was a bit spicy but very sweet, somewhat like Thai food. "Okay. Are you going to Spain tomorrow?"

"Yes, the exhibition went very smoothly, and the contract will be signed and finalized tomorrow morning."

"You can postpone your afternoon schedule, but can you postpone your evening schedule as well?"

"Can."

Chu Sinian originally intended to spend two days with him.

A cool night breeze blew by. Chu Sinian casually picked a rose from the railing, flipped his wrist, and held it up to Chen Chi. "I'm leaving tomorrow. This is a parting gift for you."

Chen Chi paused, then took the bag. "Just staying for one afternoon?"

"There's still one night left."

Chen Chi glanced at the piano that was being played and smirked, "Three more days to finish."

Chu Sinian said jokingly, "You'll have many three-day periods."

Chen Chi tucked the rose into his pocket, the thorns pricking his flesh through the fabric. "I will make time to stay by your side."

Looking at the exquisite and sumptuous dinner in front of him, Chu Sinian suddenly felt a little empty. "You can't keep revolving around me forever."

"Why not?"

Chu Sinian put down his cutlery and asked a truly fantastical question.

"Chen Chi, do you have ideals?"

ideal?

Chen Chi's indifferent face went blank for a moment.

"No."

Chu Sinian said, "I will become an astronomer. What about you?"

Chen Chi said, "All I want is you."

Chu Sinian said with some helplessness, "I'm just an ordinary person. I can't do much besides fulfilling your love. Your life can't consist of only love."

Chen Chi looked at Chu Sinian expressionlessly.

"Are you trying to push me away?"

Holy crap?

Chu Sinian swore he never meant that, a hint of panic on his face. "No, what I meant was..."

“I understand,” Chen Chi said, “but you don’t understand.”

"You are the anchor of my world. Everything I encounter now unfolds because of you. Family, friendship, career, none of these are what I seek."

"You want me to care about other people and things, but you don't understand, I simply can't do it."

Chen Chi's resolute words struck Chu Sinian's heart like a hammer blow.

He knew he was important to Chen Chi, but he never imagined it would reach such an unfathomable level.

Chu Sinian couldn't deny that he was delighted, but he was also somewhat worried.

If Chen Chi relies on him so much, and even the slightest unexpected crack appears in their relationship, this dependence will backfire on Chen Chi a thousandfold.

They want to live a long life, not a few months of cheap love. There are no perfectly compatible lovers in the world. How could they not argue or have conflicts?

Chu Sinian didn't continue the conversation. "How do you usually sleep?"

"Good."

Chu Sinian was skeptical. "Don't you have insomnia?"

Chen Chi asked, "If I have insomnia, will you stay by my side?"

Chu Sinian touched the end of his eyebrow and smiled, "You just want to sleep with me, don't you?"

Chen Chi nodded.

Chu Sinian's expression slowly froze. "I know your condition could relapse at any time. I hope you will tell me the truth about your situation."

Chen Chi didn't give him a specific answer; instead, he looked into the sea and said, "I'm all better now."

Chu Sinian stood up, his long white coat sweeping across the exquisite roses on the table. He took Chen Chi's hand and led him down the steps. "We're a couple, aren't we?"

Chen Chi said yes.

"Then will you listen to me?"

Chen Chi nodded and said he would listen.

The two reached the beach. Chu Sinian stepped onto the shoreline, his feet getting wet and sticky from the sand. "So, how have you been sleeping lately?"

Chen Chi slipped his fingers between Chen Chi's palms, interlocking them tightly. "I can't sleep when you're not around."

Chu Sinian clenched his fists, "Why won't you video call me? Would you feel better if you saw me?"

The moonlight was dim tonight, making Chen Chi's eyes appear exceptionally dark. "I've already seen him."

"Hmm?" Chu Sinian said, "I don't mean what we mean now. I mean, would it be better if we video-called each other while we're sleeping?"

Chen Chi seemed to think about it seriously for a moment, then said, "Yes."

"Okay, from now on, when you're away on business and need to sleep, just video call me. That way, I'll know when you go to sleep and whether you're sleeping well."
