Every now and then, two wolf howls could be heard, giving one a chilling feeling.
"No wonder our ancestors wouldn't let us in; this place is damn eerie."
Han Bao wrapped his clothes tightly around himself, hugged his chest, and looked up at the towering trees overhead. Although the leaves had all fallen, the intertwined branches still made the surrounding environment quite eerie.
"Stop talking nonsense, hurry up and follow me. Do you think you, a man, can accomplish anything without Yu Lu's courage?"
Han Bao pursed his lips. He hadn't backed down either; he'd been following closely the whole time.
Suddenly, the little squirrel in front of us squeaked twice. Following its paw, we saw a small, snow-white creature curled up among a pile of withered branches and leaves.
Hearing footsteps, its silver-gray eyes turned to them, and it let out a howling sound, seemingly terrified.
"Father, is that... is that a wolf?"
Han Bao pointed tremblingly at the white figure not far away.
"Uncle, there's a little white dog here."
The three men remained silent. That was a wolf, wasn't it? What kind of dog would give birth here? It would be strange if it didn't get eaten by wild animals.
The little white wolf saw Cui Yulu licking her hand very affectionately, and didn't bite her, so it seemed that it liked her quite a bit.
"Uncle, look how cute it is! Let's take it home."
Cui Yulu carefully examined the little white dog's body and found a wound on its ankle, which she guessed was why it was abandoned. It looked like a poor little thing.

Just as the group continued forward, a magnificent tiger suddenly appeared before them.
"Father, could it be a tiger?"
