When Lin Zao woke up the next morning, there was no one in bed.
Lin Zao was still a little confused. It was normal that she didn't know Tang Jian was awake, but how come Ya Ya's waking up didn't wake her up at all?
I listened intently; all was quiet outside the door.
Lin Zao got dressed and opened the door. A young maid in green was standing outside.

"My wife and I wish to adopt you as our godson. Would you be willing?"
Chen Wen and Ma Qingping were stunned and looked up at Lin Zao and his wife in shock.
Were they hallucinating?
Lin Zao smiled and nodded in confirmation to them.
Only then did the two realize that it was real, not their fantasy.
Chen Wen's eyes reddened, and he led the still-unresponsive Ma Qingping to kneel down in front of Lin Zao and the other person.
“We are willing! We pay our respects to our godfather and godmother!” Chen Wen bowed deeply in reverence.
Ma Qingping quickly kowtowed, saying, "Greetings, godfather and godmother!"
Tang Jian nodded with a smile:
"Alright, from now on you are my adopted sons, Tang Jian! I hope that from now on you will not dwell on the past, nor fear the future! I also hope that you four siblings will help each other, be friendly and respectful to each other, and be sincere and loving."
Tian Bu'er, quick-witted, poured four cups of tea and served them to Chen Wen and the other person.

The two men took the tea from Tian Bu's hands and respectfully handed it to Tang Jian and Lin Zao.
