Chapter 35 Spend Time Together

Chapter 35 Spend Time Together

As the cold air in the airport hall carried the feeling of separation, Tang Ximian's fingers were still clutching her brother Tang Li's sleeves.

The wheels of the suitcase made a slight noise on the tiled floor, and Si Yankai was waiting beside them with their luggage.

Tang Li raised his hand to ruffle his brother's hair. When his fingertips brushed across the red corners of the boy's eyes, his movements were gentler than the morning breeze caressing the petals of a crabapple tree.

After explaining everything to his brother and saying goodbye, Tang Li turned around and looked at Si Yankai from two steps away.

Two pairs of equally deep eyes reached a kind of tacit understanding in the gaps between the crowds, and finally turned into Tang Li's solemn nod.

Si Yankai took the two heavy suitcases with one hand, and the crisp sound of the handle colliding with the metal buckle woke up the dazed Tang Ximian.

"elder brother......"

When Tang Ximian was led around by Si Yankai, she still looked back stubbornly at her brother's tall figure.

The bright sunlight outside the glass curtain wall made Tang Li's outline increasingly blurred, but the slightly raised corners of his mouth remained as clear as yesterday.

Si Yankai felt the warmth in his palms making him sweat, so he quietly tightened his fingers and let his calloused fingertips gently caress the boy's slightly cool skin.

There were very few people in the VIP waiting room, only one or two people scattered here and there.

Tang Ximian sat by the window, the cold light from his cell phone screen casting a bluish-gray shadow under his eyes.

Si Yankai looked at his tense jawline as he replied to messages one by one, and a sigh escaped from his throat.

The roar of the plane engine gradually became clearer. Tang Ximian suddenly rested her forehead on his shoulder, her hair brushing across the side of her neck, like some timid little animal seeking shelter.

"What's wrong? Are you worried about your brother?" Si Yankai scratched his red earlobe with his finger, and when Tang Ximian shrank subconsciously, he supported the back of his neck.

My fingertips touched the dense beads of sweat on the back of the boy's neck, and I felt so heartbroken that I almost drowned in those misty eyes.

Tang Ximian's eyelashes cast a trembling butterfly shadow under her eyes: "A little..."

He grabbed the hem of Si Yankai's shirt, and his voice was so soft as if he was afraid of awakening some dormant danger.

"They're in the dark, and if I stay I'll just distract my brother..."

Before he could finish his words, Si Yankai leaned over and kissed the swirl of his hair. The scent of mint mixed with cedar enveloped him gently.

"Baby, don't feel guilty. You are already very brave." Si Yankai's lips brushed against his hot earlobe, and his warm breath brushed against his flushed skin.

"That old fox, Derich, is always there. As long as he's around, no one dares to touch your brother." He suddenly remembered something, and a cunning smile appeared on his lips. "Besides, I've already arranged for them to show their faces in secret. If they dare to show their heads, they will be caught in the trap."

Tang Ximian was amused and chuckled softly. There was still moisture at the corners of her eyes, but she looked as relaxed as a crabapple tree soaked in dew.

Si Yankai covered him with a blanket, and when he saw the boy's profile leaning towards him, his heart suddenly skipped a beat.

A wet touch fell on his chin, with a faint scent of lemon shower gel. Before he could react, Tang Ximian had already closed her eyes in panic, grabbing the light blue blanket with both hands, but her eyelashes were still trembling, obviously a little shy.

"Be good." When Si Yankai leaned over, the little bear pendant on the suitcase handle shook gently. It was given to him by Tang Ximian when he was a child, and he tied it with his own hands.

A warm kiss landed between the boy's eyebrows, as if sealing away all his anxieties and worries. "When you wake up, I'll take you to eat the freshest king crab and then see the aurora in Country Y."

The clouds outside the porthole rolled like waves. Tang Ximian curled up in Si Yankai's arms, listening to the steady and strong heartbeat and gradually fell asleep.

Si Yankai looked at the boy's peaceful sleeping face and gently smoothed his slightly wrinkled brows with his fingertips.

Those unspoken vows broke through the clouds as the plane flew, transforming into thousands of gentle rays of moonlight that wrapped them tightly.
