She decided to treat the village head Zhou after observing his words and actions along the way. It would be easier to get things done if she could make friends with him.
Zhou Lizheng was tired after walking all the way without stopping. He walked to a stone bench and sat down. He pressed his brows wearily and asked Jiang Huaixu, "You don't look very old, how can you heal illnesses?"

Jiang Fu nodded vigorously to demonstrate the authenticity of Jiang Huaixu's words.
Zhou Lizheng, however, felt helpless, like he was playing house with a child. He held out his hand and said, "How about you take my pulse?"
Jiang Huaixu examined Zhou Lizheng's complexion and tongue coating before beginning to examine him and feel his pulse. After a long pause, she removed her hand from Zhou Lizheng's skinny wrist and said thoughtfully, "Grandpa Lizheng, you've been overworked, and your vital energy is weak. This has weakened your defenses, allowing external pathogens to take advantage of the situation and invade your lungs. This is a symptom of lung heat. You've just started to develop a fever. If you don't get treatment quickly, you'll suffer."
Zhou Lizheng was so shocked that he couldn't speak for a long time. Seeing Jiang Huaixu lying on the stone and writing, he found it even more unbelievable. "Are you ten years old?"
"My second cousin will be ten years old next year!" Jiang Fu said proudly.
Jiang Huaixu quickly wrote down a prescription. "Here's the prescription. Take it. You must treat it quickly. Don't delay. Since this is our first meeting, I won't charge you for the consultation. Just consider it a gift. Grandpa, the village head, let's go choose a house."
She stuffed the prescription into Zhou Lizheng's arms, pulled Jiang Fu and ran away.
Zhou Lizheng stared at the two men's backs, and it took him a long time to realize that his jaw was still open. He looked at the paper in his hand, his expression filled with an indescribable complexity.
