Enchanted weapons? Xia, now part of the Xia tribe, will...

Bai Youfeng was dejected for a while after learning about the harm his former friends, the Tianqi Tribe orcs, had done to the nature elves, Zelan, and dragons.

He was unaware that the Apocalypse Tribe's actions had harmed the dragon beastmen, and for a moment he dared not look at Ilovian.

Jiang Yunlan had already gotten up and walked away from the corner, but he remained squatting there, looking down at the ground. After a while, he took a deep breath, stood up, and told his people everything he knew.

From that moment on, the orc, filled with remorse, transformed from a single individual into a horde.

The weasel beastmen have wandered the continent for many years, their daily activities consisting only of fighting, eating, forging weapons, and traveling. Their lives, constantly threatened with death, have forged their passionate, unrestrained, and openly expressive nature. Yet, these same weasel beastmen hesitated when facing Ilov, their reaction suggesting a desire to make amends but an inability to know where to begin.

Ilovian disliked them, refused to pay attention to them, and was completely unaware of their guilt. At that moment, she was holding the summer food Jiang Yunlan had given her in both hands, happily savoring the unfamiliar delicacies.

She held the flatbread in one hand and placed the other below her mouth. After finishing the flatbread, she put the small pieces that had fallen into her hand into her mouth. Chew. In her three hundred years of life, this was the first time she had ever eaten such food. Chew.

“I’ve finished eating. Lan, shall I fly back now and call your people over?” She looked at Jiang Yunlan, who was still eating dinner, and asked in her eyes.

The weasel orc clan has agreed to Lan's request and will also help the Xia tribe. She can go back to rest now, and while she's at it, she can call the Xia orcs to come and find the weasel orcs. There are too many strange creatures here; she's not used to it and wants to go back and check on Duoci and the others.

Jiang Yunlan nodded, watching her spread her wings and fly away.

The weasel beastmen watched helplessly as Ilovian flew away, disappointed at not being able to speak to her. Their dejected state lasted only a few seconds before they heard words from the squirrel beastmen.

“When you surrounded Ilovian, she had just gathered herbs to cure her orc friends. If you want to do something to show your goodwill and apologize, then first prepare food for the sick deer orcs and hedgehog orcs. The snow season is coming.” Jiang Yunlan said slowly, calculating the time in her mind.

The snow season will begin in about fifteen days. The matters concerning the deer-beastmen, hedgehog-beastmen, and weasel-beastmen require careful consideration; she and her people cannot leave this place for the time being.

She indeed decided to have her people gather supplies with Bai Youyouge and the others, secretly observing whether any of the weasel beastmen would sneak away or secretly pass on intelligence. She didn't believe that the Tianqi tribe hadn't planted spies and would let the weasel beastman clan that knew her location go.

Jiang Yunlan's mind raced, and she suddenly remembered a detail she had overlooked. Her tone was grave as she asked, "Sveta, do the rivers here freeze over during the snow season?"

Rivers in grassland and mountain habitats don't freeze, and she forgot to ask if the rivers here have a freezing period. Boats can't travel on ice, and if the rivers here freeze, the team would have to hike to find the wind spirits if they wanted to set off during the snow season.

“A thin layer of ice will form. Ilovian once hammered a hole in the frozen river, saying it would make it easy to catch fish.” Sveta’s voice chuckled as he recalled the clumsy way dragons used to catch fish to raise half-grown orcs.

The two orcs got lost somehow and were found by Ilovian. Ilovian kept saying "troublesome" and "I don't want to deal with them," but he still took good care of the two little ones, managing to raise them through the snow season before finally sending them back to the orc clan he had finally found.

Perhaps because of this experience, Ilovin always viewed unfamiliar orcs with goodwill.

Putting away its past memories, Sveta gazed at the still-adult Lan, its feelings resonating with Ilovian's. It understood Ilovian's thoughts perfectly. It was simply a case of loving the house because of the person it loved.

Unfortunately, time has taught it not to favor all orcs or any particular clan because of a single orc. The orc worthy of its affection should have been that one orc from the very beginning.

As Jiang Yunlan listened to its reply while being watched, she recalculated the supplies that needed to be collected.

With just over two seasons left before the Wise Clan reaches their grassland habitat, she couldn't help but feel fortunate that the Wind Spirits' location wasn't far away. Judging by the clan's speed, if they set out during the snow season, they could return by the end of it. Therefore, it seemed the group could return to their grassland habitat during the hot season.

Seeing that she could complete the mission within the expected time, Jiang Yunlan immediately felt much lighter, and even the air she breathed in felt incredibly fresh.

She sat down next to the weasel beastmen and looked up.

I strolled away from the star-studded night, ushering in a clear, bright day.

On this day, most of the orcs living on the ship came to the resting place of the weasel orcs and joined up with Lan. Only a few orcs who were responsible for guarding the ship that day did not come.

Bai Youfeng led his hunting party out and, along with the rest of his tribe, set up a resting place, awaiting the arrival of the snow season. Bai Youyouge led his tribe in hunting, accompanied by Xia tribe beastmen who could teach them gathering. They reached a cooperation agreement with the Xia beastmen to collect resources together.

After instructing the remaining wolf-like beastmen, Jiang Yunlan led the Black Soil Squad back to the location of the Deer Beastman Clan.

The adult red dragon and the young blue dragon were chatting happily beside the thorny orcs. Hearing a commotion nearby, the two dragons instantly stopped talking and almost simultaneously looked towards the source of the sound.

A transparent slime-like shape appeared atop the squirrel-like beastman's head, and the young dragon raised its claws, swinging them forcefully from side to side. Seeing the young dragon's movements, Ilovian hesitated, then reached out and waved her hand. Too lazy to revert to her beast form, she remained in human form for the moment.

Xia's orcs saw the two dragons' movements from afar, grinned, and swung their raised hands wildly.

Seeing their interaction, Jiang Yunlan smiled and joined them with a bright smile. She went to the two dragons, carefully examined Greysien's condition to make sure he was alright, and then turned her gaze to Ilovian, "How are your wounds? Are they healing normally?"

“It’s already scabbed over, and it doesn’t hurt much anymore,” Ilov said, pausing before replying uncertainly in their thorny language, “This wound seems to be healing a little slower than usual?”

Two seconds later, she contradicted herself, "It could be that the wound hurts, and I'm overthinking it. I'll know how slow this injury is when it's fully healed."

“Your injury was caused by the weasel orc’s weapon. It’s probably not just your overthinking; the recovery is indeed slow,” Jiang Yunlan said.

She didn't think Ilovin's suspicions were wrong; the weapons in the weasel beastmen's hands were somewhat unusual. 022 had examined the two bone weapons Xia had acquired, and their composition differed from that of other animal bones. It was difficult to determine whether the difference stemmed from the animal bones themselves or from something the weasel beastmen had added during the weapon-making process.

Beast bone weapons are essential to their clan's survival. When repairing weapons, they deliberately avoid Xia's orcs. Xia and the White Weasel Orc Clan are not close friends, so it's not appropriate for them to inquire about the weapons rashly.

Jiang Yunlan felt it was a pity that she hadn't taken many items with her when she went out. Once she led the weasel beastmen back to their habitat, she would use any amount of supplies to force them to reveal the secret of the beast bone weapon.
