Chapter 4: All goods in the supermarket and warehouse were taken away.

Zhu Caining was willing to tell Ye Shang only because she was alone and not afraid of the zombies outside, so she planned to follow this person.

Ye Shang didn't care about her story, but at least she could give her what she needed now.

Zhu Caining led Ye Shang toward her uncle's office. Some people tried to follow, but after they left, several zombies suddenly appeared upstairs and started wandering around. They didn't know if they couldn't go down or if they were just slowly wandering around on the ground.

At least it kept those people at bay.

Zhu Caining followed Ye Shang closely, especially after seeing her kill several zombies without blinking, she became more determined in her idea.

"Here, I have the key," Zhu Caining whispered.

The two walked to the back of a corridor, passing through layers of coat racks and shoe racks, until they reached a door behind a hidden curtain.

Zhu Caining opened the door with the key, led Ye Shang inside, and then closed the door behind her.

As soon as Ye Shang entered, he was stunned for a moment; the place was full of supplies!

Zhu Caining took a flashlight and turned it on, her eyes curved as she said, "This is the entire supermarket's storage area. It's usually my uncle who brings two of his employees in to move things. Almost no one knows about it. After my uncle left, he was worried about me, so he told me about this place. I came to take a look, but it's almost closed off. I was a little scared, so I didn't stay there all the time. Instead, I went out and joined those people in the hall."

Ye Shang looked at everything with satisfaction. The warehouse contained almost everything one could need for eating, drinking, and relieving oneself.

Zhu Caining walked to the side, picked up a bag of potato chips and tore it open: "Hehe, this is good, the two of us can stay here and not go out, we can just wait for the army to come and rescue us."

Ye Shang's face remained expressionless, but he was already making plans in his mind. This little girl clearly wanted to use these supplies to exchange for a place to live in the future.

Zhu Caining turned to Ye Shang and said, "It will be fine once we find my parents. I'm studying here, but my parents are from City A. They were supposed to come to my uncle's place for summer vacation, but now there's nothing they can do."

My uncle is dead, and I don’t know how my parents are doing.

Ye Shang raised his eyebrows slightly, thinking it was a good idea. "If I take you to find your parents and send you there safely, will you give me all these supplies?" He paused and said, "You could call it a deal."

The flashlight beam was very weak, but you could still make out the seriousness on Ye Shang's face.

Zhu Caining slowed down her movements as she picked up the potato chips, and said with her head down, "Sure, but can you carry them all?"

She wasn't sure either. She had originally planned to take it back with the people who came to rescue her, so that at least they could have a different place to stay.

Ye Shang didn't waste any words and said directly, "You know very well that the rescue team may not arrive for a long time, and you can't stay here and wait forever, can you? Do you think the people in the hall downstairs are brainless? There are smart people among them."

Seeing that you came up but didn't turn into a zombie, will they really stay down there and wait?

Zhu Caining was aware of this, and she bit her lip. "Okay, but you have to make sure my life is safe."

Ye Shang sneered and replied: "I can guarantee that the zombies can't kill you, but I can't guarantee your behavior."

After all, if you act recklessly, even a god couldn't save you.

Zhu Caining nodded happily: "Don't worry, I will be very good and will follow you steadily."

Although she didn't know why he trusted her so much, she believed in her intuition that this person would definitely lead her to find her parents.

Ye Shang then took out a pen and paper and quickly wrote a line of words on it before handing it to her: "Sign here."

While looting is normal in the apocalypse, isn't this someone else's private property now?

Zhu Caining opened her mouth in disbelief, took the paper, and it was written very simply: I voluntarily donate all the goods in the entire supermarket, including the warehouse, to Ye Shang. In addition, Ye Shang needs to protect the safety of the donor until his parents are found.

Zhu Caining lowered his chin and said, "Not really."

Although he said this, he still took the pen in Ye Shang's hand and signed his name.

Ye Shang put the paper away, raised an eyebrow when he saw the name on it, said nothing, and then waved his hand in front of Zhu Caining, and the things that were standing there disappeared.

Zhu Caining's eyes widened as she watched Ye Shang bustling around, crumpling the potato chips in her hands. Her finger trembled as she pointed at Ye Shang and exclaimed, "You...you're a superhuman?!"

Ye Shang paused waving his hand and replied calmly, "I guess so."

She then continued her work. If she had the power she had before, she wouldn't have needed to go through all this trouble. With a wave of her hand, she could send everything within her sight into her space with a thought.

Zhu Caining watched helplessly as she moved all the items out of the warehouse.

Finally, he could only ask blankly, "Is your superpower level one?"

Ye Shang thought for a moment and replied, "Maybe, but the space looks quite large to me."
