He became increasingly agitated as he spoke, and his emotions completely spiraled out of control.
"Enough!"
Lin's father slammed his hand on the table, stood up, and roared:
"Lin Yaozu! Shut up! Do you... do you even respect me as your father?!"
"Father? Do you even deserve to be my father?!"
Lin Yaozu was not to be outdone. He pointed at his father's nose and shouted loudly.
"You...you're a complete coward! A piece of trash! You...you can't even protect your own company! You...what right do you have to be my father?!"
"You...you..." Lin's father was so angry at Lin Yaozu's words that he trembled all over. He pointed at Lin Yaozu, unable to utter a single word for a long time.
"Alright! Stop arguing!" Lin's mother cried out. "Yaozu, you...you should say less! Your father...your father...he's doing this for your own good!"
"For my own good? He would sell the company for my own good?!" Lin Yaozu sneered. "Mom, stop defending him! He... he's just a selfish bastard! He... he doesn't deserve to be my father!"
"Lin Yaozu! You...you..." Lin's father was so angry that his face turned ashen. He pointed at Lin Yaozu, his fingers trembling uncontrollably.
"What do you mean, 'what did I do wrong?'" Lin Yaozu did not back down. He glared at his father, his eyes filled with hatred and anger.
"You...you...get out of here! Get out of this house!" Lin's father finally snapped, pointing at the door and shouting sternly.
"Fine, I'll get out! Who cares about this broken-down house!" Lin Yaozu sneered and turned to leave.
"Yaozu! You...you don't go!" Lin's mother cried as she chased after him, but Lin's father grabbed her arm.
"Get him out! Get him out!" Lin's father roared. "I...I don't have this son!"
Lin Yaozu left the Lin family without looking back; his back view appeared particularly lonely and desolate.
Lin's mother slumped onto the sofa and burst into tears.
Lin's father stood there, his face ashen, without uttering a word.
The entire living room fell into a deathly silence.
Lin Yaozu walked out of the Lin family mansion and wandered aimlessly down the street.
"Oh, isn't this the eldest young master of the Lin family? How... how did you end up in such a state?"
A familiar voice suddenly rang in Lin Yaozu's ears.
Lin Yaozu looked up and saw a familiar yet unfamiliar face.
Su Qing.
"You... how did you get here?" Lin Yaozu's voice was hoarse and full of doubt.
Su Qing, dressed in designer clothes and carrying a luxury handbag, stood in stark contrast to the disheveled Lin Yaozu.
She looked down at Lin Yaozu, her eyes filled with disdain and mockery.
"Why can't I be here?" Su Qing sneered. "Lin Yaozu, you don't actually think I'd stay with a piece of trash like you, do you?"
“You…” Lin Yaozu’s face turned pale. He wanted to refute, but found himself speechless.
"Let me tell you, Lin Yaozu, I told you long ago that you're a piece of trash!"
Su Qing said mercilessly, "Look at yourself now, what do you look like? You look like a stray dog!"
"Su Qing, you...you've gone too far!" Lin Yaozu said through gritted teeth.
"Excessive? Am I being excessive?" Su Qing sneered.
"Back when we were together, you were very obedient to me, and whatever you said went."
And now? You're down on your luck, you're nothing anymore, and you still want to boss me around? You...you don't deserve it!"
"I..." Lin Yaozu was speechless, choked by Su Qing's words.
"Lin Yaozu, let me tell you, I've had enough of you!"
"You idle away your days, doing nothing productive. Besides eating, drinking, and having fun, what else can you do? You... you're a complete waste! A total waste!"
“Su Qing, you…” Lin Yaozu’s eyes reddened. He wanted to refute, but found himself powerless to do so.
"What do you mean, 'what'? Did I say something wrong?" Su Qing sneered.
"Look at yourself now! What right do you have to be with me? You...you're not good enough for me at all!"
"Su Qing, you...you mustn't forget who it was back then..."
Lin Yaozu tried to remind Su Qing that she was the one who pursued him first.
"Back then? I was blind back then!" Su Qing interrupted him mercilessly.
"Let me tell you, Lin Yaozu, I've regretted it for a long time! I regret being with you, I... I must have been blind to have fallen for a piece of trash like you!"
"you…"
"Su Qing! You...you bitch!" Lin Yaozu finally couldn't hold back anymore and cursed loudly.
"Bitch? Who are you calling a bitch?" Su Qing's expression changed. She stepped forward and slapped Lin Yaozu hard across the face.
"Smack!"
The crisp sound of a slap echoed through the empty street.
Lin Yaozu was knocked so hard he staggered and almost fell to the ground.
"Lin Yaozu, you better remember this: you're a piece of trash now!" Su Qing pointed at Lin Yaozu's nose and shouted sternly.
"You...you're not even worthy to carry my shoes! You...you'd better stay away from me from now on, or else...or else don't blame me for being impolite!"
After saying that, Su Qing turned and left. The sound of her high heels hitting the ground was particularly jarring to Lin Yaozu.
Lin Yaozu stood there blankly.
"Su Qing...you bitch...I, Lin Yaozu...even if I become a ghost...I will not let you go!"
"Why...why did this happen..."
He sobbed softly, like a wounded child, helpless and desperate.
"Lin Fan...it's all your fault...it's all your fault!"
Suddenly, he abruptly raised his head, a crazed glint in his eyes.
"If it weren't for you... I wouldn't have ended up like this today!"
"You stole my company... you stole my woman... you stole everything I have!"
"I will not let you go... I will absolutely not let you go!"
He pounded the ground frantically, venting his anger and resentment.
"I want revenge... I'll make you pay the price... I'll make you wish you were dead!"
His voice grew louder and more frantic, echoing in the empty alleyway and sounding particularly terrifying.
Suddenly, he stopped, a cunning glint in his eyes.
"Yes...I still have a way...I still have a chance..."
He muttered to himself, a sinister smile spreading across his face.
He came up with an idea, a crazy and dangerous one.
He wants to borrow money at exorbitant interest rates!
"Lin Fan...you just wait...I'll make you regret...make you regret ever being born!"
He stood up, staggered out of the alley, and disappeared into the vast night.
The next day, Lin Yaozu appeared in a dark underground casino.
The casino was filled with smoke and noise.
Lin Yaozu was dressed in a wrinkled suit, with messy hair and an unshaven beard, making him stand out from the well-dressed gamblers around him.
He stood in front of a gambling table, looking at the frenzied gamblers, a hint of hesitation flashing in his eyes.
He had never been to such a place before, and he knew nothing about gambling. But now he had no other choice.
He had to borrow money; he had to get revenge.
He took a deep breath and walked up to a middle-aged man in a black suit.
"I...I want to borrow money..."
He stammered, his voice filled with tension and unease.
The middle-aged man looked him up and down, his eyes filled with contempt and disdain.
"Borrow money? Do you have any collateral?"
The middle-aged man asked coldly.
"I...I..." Lin Yaozu's face turned pale; he didn't know how to answer.
He now has nothing left, nothing to mortgage.
"You want to borrow money without collateral?" the middle-aged man sneered. "Do you think this is a charity?"
"I...I can write an IOU..." Lin Yaozu said hurriedly, "I promise...I will definitely pay it back..."
