A crimson glow rose on the horizon, as red as blood.
As Mu Run gazed at the crimson sunset, a sudden unease gripped her, as if something bad was about to happen.
“Sister Ling—” Xiao Cao’s voice rang out from behind her.
Mu Run turned around in surprise. Had she been too focused on Hongxia? She hadn't heard her footsteps at all.
"Little Grass, what brings you here?"
"I'm here to see Sister Ling." Xiao Cao walked up to her. "I know a newly opened steamed bun shop that makes really delicious steamed buns. Would you like to try some, Sister Ling?"
"The manor makes all sorts of steamed buns in the morning, why go out to eat?"
"I want Sister Ling to try it."
