Chapter Sixty-Eight: The Mobile Phone Nanny!

Ling Qingxue was much more cautious. She slowly scrolled through the screen, carefully looking at the dishes and reviews of each restaurant. Occasionally, she would pause slightly when she saw a particularly light and delicate dish.

But even after trying to understand the concept of "payment" for a long time, she still couldn't understand why the money was gone just by "clicking".

Next is map navigation.

Zhang Shaozhong demonstrated how to input the destination and how to follow the arrows.

Night Enchantress: "Oh! It's just an advanced compass with a diagram for shrinking the distance to an inch! Simple!"

Ling Qingxue, however, became very interested in the satellite map and real-time positioning function. She stared at the moving blue dot on the screen (representing their current location) for a long time, then murmured, "This technique can actually see into the earth's veins to such an extent..."

Finally, there are entertainment features, such as mini-games and video apps.

Zhang Shaozhong downloaded a match-3 game for Ye Meier, and she immediately became engrossed in it, her fingers flying across the screen while she made sounds:

"Bang! Crash! I'm so awesome!" I downloaded an app for Ling Qingxue to listen to opera and classical Chinese studies. She put on the headphones (another new gadget, it took me five minutes to learn how to wear them), closed her eyes and listened. Her expression gradually softened, as if she had found a familiar feeling.

The teaching process was full of hilarious moments.

Ye Meier often accidentally clicked on things, sometimes turning the font size to the maximum, sometimes bombarding Zhang Shaozhong with dozens of emojis.

Ling Qingxue, due to her unfamiliarity with the operation, nearly threw her phone away several times, or seriously asked the Si voice assistant, "What is the Way of Heaven?"

Startled, Zhang Shaozhong quickly turned off the voice function.

Regardless, after a chaotic afternoon of frantic and disorganized instruction, the two big shots from another world finally gained a basic understanding of this modern marvel called a "cell phone."

Watching Ye Meier nestled on the sofa, engrossed in Candy Crush, and Ling Qingxue listening to "High Mountains and Flowing Water" with her headphones on, Zhang Shaozhong let out a long sigh of relief, feeling as if he had completed an epic mission.

He slumped in his chair, watching the city lights begin to twinkle outside the window, and thought to himself: With cell phones, they should be able to integrate into this world better, right? At least they won't have to beg me to order takeout anymore…

The thought had barely crossed his mind when he heard Ye Meier shout without even looking up, "Hey kid! What are we having for dinner? I think this grilled fish looks good! Come over here and help me decide which flavor to choose!"

Zhang Shaozhong: "..."

Well, it seems I won't be able to give up this "nanny" job anytime soon.

He resignedly moved closer and began to instruct the witch on how to choose a grilled fish set meal.

This new life with an ID card and a mobile phone doesn't seem to be much easier!
