The sheer curtains swayed gently in the breeze, and rays of warm light streamed through the gaps onto the spotless floor.
Chaochao, fast asleep, stretched and yawned, her eyes still sleepy.
She slept soundly, feeling as if she were in a soft cloud. Except for a dream in the middle of the night where she was being chased by a big wild boar in a field, which made her a little scared, she felt extremely comfortable!
"Xiaoqi, how long have I been asleep?"
System: "Baby, you've been sleeping for an hour and a half."
Just as Chaochao was propping herself up on her arms to sit up in bed, the door opened and two maids walked in.
A maid carefully helped Chaochao up, gently straightened her pajamas, and then asked with a smile, "Miss Chaochao, what would you like to wear this afternoon?"
Another maid pushed open the door to the dressing room.
The person in question: My eyes were blinded by the light at that moment.
At first glance, the walk-in closet is about half the size of a room. Four priceless luminous pearls are embedded in the ceiling corners, and the diamonds embedded in the walls refract iridescent light. A full-length mirror occupies an entire wall, and the wardrobe, shoe cabinet, and jewelry cabinet are exquisitely luxurious and breathtaking.
The system even showed the doll's wardrobe.
The maid slowly pulled out a row of spring clothes, from simple everyday styles to gorgeous princess dresses, all of which were handmade by international brands.
Chaochao's eyes were dazzled from looking at it, and she frowned in confusion.
Wow, so many clothes!
The maid kindly said, "Miss Chaochao, if you like, you can try them all."
Chaochao shook her head. "Too much trouble."
Her pale finger pointed to the outfit closest to her, "This one will suit me."
A soft turtleneck sweater, paired with a cream-colored top and pants.
The little girl has two little pigtails, adorned with fluffy bow hair accessories, and when she smiles sweetly, she looks just like Maruko-chan.
Chaochao touched her newly tied bun and exclaimed, "Wow, Sister Zhizhi is so amazing!"
While changing clothes, Chaochao learned the names of the two older sisters who came to take care of her.
One is named Zhizhi, and the other is named Amin.
Upon hearing this, Zhizhi smiled shyly.
I never expected that just tying my hair up simply would earn me praise from the young lady.
Before coming to the Huo family, Zhizhi had worked as a maid in several wealthy households, taking care of the children of her employers.
Most of them are spoiled and domineering, bossy and arrogant, and their eyes always inadvertently reveal disdain and contempt.
In comparison, Miss Chaochao's personality is so much better.
In the living room on the first floor, Mr. Huo was sitting on the sofa drinking tea and watching TV.
When Chaochao arrived, the old man glanced at him out of the corner of his eye, straightened his posture slightly, and waited for the little guy to come over.
Chaochao originally wanted to talk to her grandfather, but seeing him sipping tea while staring seriously at the TV screen, she couldn't help but feel a deep respect for him.
Grandpa is busy, so I can't bother him every day.
This is a habit that Chaochao developed while accompanying Huo Qin to work at the company during this week.
After waiting for a while, Mr. Huo saw the little guy who had been walking towards him turn around and go to the other side of the living room to play with Lego.
He couldn't help but feel anxious.
What's going on? Why aren't you coming over?
Does he really look like he'd eat people?
The old man, filled with self-doubt, finished his cup of tea.
He spat out a few tea leaves, intending to use the opportunity to end the silence, but when he turned his head, he saw only a lonely Lego brick on the carpet; the little girl who had been building it was nowhere to be seen.
Where are they? Where did they go again?!
Grandpa Huo felt like a donkey with a carrot hanging over its head, and Chaochao was the carrot that he kept trying to catch but failed!
Following the servant's advice, he went to the garden to look for Chaochao.
I finally saw her over by the fountain.
The little girl stood with her back to him on the edge of the marble fountain, her pale yellow figure standing out against the white fountain sculpture.
I don't know how she, who is so short, managed to climb up there.
Old Master Huo stood not far away, cleared his throat, thought about how to greet him, and then approached step by step.
He had just reached the little girl when he called out, "Chao Chao, look—"
The sound stopped abruptly.
A soft, fluffy tuft of unidentified down suddenly landed on his face!
Old Master Huo: "..."
Chaochao: "!!!"
Holding a bare dandelion stalk, she stared wide-eyed in shock at the "white-haired monster" that had suddenly appeared before her.
"Grandpa?" Chaochao asked tentatively in a low voice.
Old Master Huo: "..."
Grandpa Huo didn't want to talk at the moment. If it had been a minute ago when Chaochao called him that, he would have happily responded.
He closed his eyes tightly, wanting nothing more than to turn around and leave!
How shameful!
I'm so embarrassed in front of my own granddaughter!
Old Master Huo remained silent.
I feel anxious every day.
"Xiao Qi, why isn't he saying anything?" Chao Chao asked the system.
The system sighed helplessly: "Chaochao, he is your grandfather."
Chaochao asked worriedly, "Really? Could it be that the wild boar from my dream came out, transformed into a human, and is going to eat me?"
System: "Of course not! How could such a fantastical thing happen?"
Little girl: "Aren't you Xiaoqi?"
system:"……"
He was speechless after being refuted by a three-year-old child!
The agitated old man was really about to run away at any moment. Just then, Chaochao's little hand touched his face, gently brushing away the downy hair covering his face.
Chaochao climbed up the fountain platform with great effort, hoping to stand higher so that the dandelion babies could fly farther. Therefore, she used all her strength when she blew air into the fountain.
